Well that was already a given. And yes, this show was much better than last week's abomination. Things are starting to move in the right direction and I'm looking forward to next week's show.

I honestly want to say that I liked the show, just because everyone else said they didn't like it, but in all good conscience, I can't. Seriously, in the 10 or so years that I've been watching wrestling, this is the first show that I ever disliked. Ever. I'll keep watching though. I mean, it is just the first week and it could improve exponentially between now and when their Sci-Fi contract is up. Also, it's not like there's anything else I feel like watching on Tuesday nights. They better get their shit together though. And after seeing the entrance twice, Sandman really does need Enter Sandman. I thought he'd be ok without it, but he won't. He really won't.

Rhino still has the ECW World title, the TV one was stolen during the last show. Personally, I wanna see Homicide and Colt Cabana brought in to ECW. They'd fit in very well, I think.

I was looking at ECW.com and out of the 5 matches that had "ECW" talent (Kurt counted as "ECW" talent, just cuz) against WWE talent, ECW won 3 of the matches, drew one of them, and lost one. Now note, that I didn't see the PPV and I'm going off of reports and this thread, but coming out of this PPV, the two guys coming out of this PPV strongest are Sabu (who was booked as equal to the World Champion) and Edge. However, you can make an argument that Sabu didn't come out of the PPV looking all that good seeing how just about everyone's beaten Rey recently. You could also make an argument that RVD looks a bit better after tonight seeing how in less than 7 days, he defeated both Raw and Smackdown's World Champions, winning the title from Cena. Then again, the win wasn't clean (I didn't see the match so I'm not quite sure if Cena dominated or not). On the other hand, Cena has been protected by WWE on an Austin-ish level. This is off the top of my head, but isn't the only person with a victory over Cena in a singles match, this year, Edge? And that victory was after Cena went through the Elimination Chamber. Therefore, RVD is the only person other than Edge to have beaten Cena in a title match. There are a lot of ways you could look at tonight, many positive, many negitive. It just depends on how you feel. But keep in mind that the entire picture has not been revealed and none of us here really knows what's going to happen between this moment and the end of the first ECW on Sci-Fi. Personally, I'm still in "wait and see" mode and have been since the new ECW was announced, so I'm not making a call until I've gotten a chance to see "ECW" work "independently" from the WWE. And I'm not harboring any illusions that it'll be the ECW from years back that had the Dreamer/Raven feud or any of that stuff people today remember fondly. All signs point to ECW being a developmental brand, feeding talent to Smackdown just as Smackdown feeds talent to Raw. Though that doesn't neccessarily mean it'll be bad. OVW proved that some damn good stuff can come out of developmental, so who knows? But yeah, just some observations from someone who hasn't seen the PPV yet.

Ok, here are some of my unpopular opinions that I'm not gonna bother defending. -I like John Cena. I look forward to seeing him on Raw. When he turns heel, he'll become the next Ric Flair. -Randy Orton has everything he needs to be a superstar. -Todd Grisham is funny. -Raw doesn't feel right unless it's J.R and the King doing the announcing. -Michael Cole isn't too bad. -Unless he's against Benoit, William Regal is boring. -The Great Khali should be pushed in the vein of Andre the Giant. -Visera is one of the most interesting characters on Raw. And finally, just in general I don't like Ring of Honor. Not because of the company itself, but because of it's fans. They piss me off.

Last I checked, Cena/Edge 1 and 2 were pretty good.

It's probably a good idea for Vince and the WWE creative team to get their stupid ideas made into movies so they can get them out of their systems. Then they can focus on making Raw and Smackdown better. I mean, they just had Kane spanking the monkey in a movie. That has to be worth at least a really good episode of Smackdown. Either way it sounds like it was damn funny, watching Kane violently kill someone before going into his little room to squeeze one out. Because everyone knows the first thing murderers do after killing someone is going home to beat their meat. Now I have to wonder what Steve Austin's and John Cena's movies are gonna be like.

I remember watching that channel at school. It was all I had to follow wrestling at school. It was changed to the religious channel that same year. Anyways, I had to check to see if I even get the Sci Fi channel seeing how I never watch it or even surf past it in boredom. Oh well, being on TV is better than not being on TV.

Well, Foley's wife did give him permission to fuck Barbara Eden if he ever got the chance, so who the hell knows? Personally, I loved the segment between Foley and Funk. When I was watching it, I was worried that it was going to bomb, but it all came together at the end. Foley must have really gotten into the promo seeing how his face lost all color when Funk started insulting his family. I do I have to say that Out-of-Shape Foley and Old Man Funk really don't look good throwing punches at each other.
