What's wrong with the English cast? I thought they were just fine. Also the twist mid-way through the series disappointed me to no end for the rest of the series.

True, everyone on their teams are probably boosting with Flex Points, but I mean more like, their teams are pretty much fully staffed. You look at the better teams' rosters and you see deep depth charts and not only that, but some of these have 3rd and -4th- options at like WR that are at level 20! Where are these people coming from? It just kinda boggles the mind. Oh well, let's just keep working at it and I'm sure everything'll work itself out in the end. I got faith in ya management!

I'm thinking unless we get several higher level players on both sides of the ball or the players we have gain more levels, we're going to be on the losing end of most of our games for quite a while. It's not all hopeless, but things are going to really rough for probably the next two or three seasons. Maybe more depending on how much the rest of our league improves. The thing I wonder though, where are these teams getting their talent from?

We can also use the ol' Goal Line Blitz forums to get talent if we haven't already. The Players Looking For Team forum tends to be full of guys we could use.

They get the ultra special restrictions because it's wrestling. The pseudo-sport that, despite being called fake by almost everyone, is criticized for being too violent.

Damn, I never noticed how pimply Dutt's upper body is. Also, this angle has already started on the wrongest of wrong foots. Not to say there's no hope for it, but...yeah, it's not looking good.

TNA's booking has not infuriated me and has been pretty good, at least to me, so I paid for the show. This is the first TNA PPV I've ever paid for so here's hoping it doesn't suck.

We won our first scrimmage game 33-0. Though, since these games don't mean anything, why don't we start all the backups so they can get max EXP from playing in the game?

Why? It's not like it would be the first time TNA have done something like this, putting a gimmick match on free TV days before people are meant to pay to see the exact same match. I don't see the problem if it is an actual KOTM match. It's not like it's a cage match or something where the gimmick is the draw. I serious doubt anyone out there is going "Oh snap, they're having a King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary! I gotta see that!". If they're paying based on just the Main Event, then it would be to see Samoa Joe retain or hope he loses it, depending on how you feel about the guy. Personally, I think giving a little KOTM preview with X guys is a good idea, because it makes the concept a little clearer for those who've never seen a KOTM before (like myself). And if the match turns out to be good, then the "drawing power" (note the parenthesis) of the KOTM match itself increases. But like I said, I don't think people are paying for Slammiversary because of the KOTM match itself, but are instead paying for it based on the characters involved.

Same here. They could simply say that Dibiase agreed to be a partner with Vince in a business endeavour but in exchange, Ted Dibiase Jr. would get a roster spot. It's the best way to debut him. I also agree that not bringing in The Canadian Bulldogs would be a huge mistake. I personally don't like the idea of Teddy being debuted because of some "business deal" between Vince and his dad. It makes it look like Ted Jr. needs his daddy to get him a spot on the roster because he's not good enough to get on the roster on his own.

Wait. What? That doesn't make sense at all. It was Tomko who lost them the tag belts, they were stripped of the championships after he got hurt in Japan. And he was still hurt during Deuces Wild, so AJ couldn't have picked him for partner. And didn't Tomko himself do the "I'm my own man" angle like just a few months ago? No, AJ lost the tag titles. He took the pin in the title match against Kaz and Super Eric. The tag titles were stripped from Kaz and S. Eric after S. Eric refused to admit he was Eric Young (who was booked as Kaz's rightful partner). Also, Tomko's anger with being replaced by S. Eric makes sense to me in a "He's completely wrong, but I could buy why he'd be pissed about it" way.

I wasn't really paying full attention to the show, but I really enjoyed this episode of Impact. Nothing really stood out as bad and that last angle, with AJ getting brutally beat down, was very strong. AJ looked very good, fighting against the odds before being overwhelmed. Kurt, Booker, 3D, and Tomko looking particularly evil in how they destroyed him. Everything just clicked to me and with some hesitation, I look forward to what happens next. TNA does a lot of things wrong in my mind, so tonight they get a little dap for doing something that was good.

I sort of get what they mean. If John Q. Casualfan was flipping channels and happened upon TNA and saw Joe, they'd probably go "Who's this fat ass wrestling Kurt Angle (or whoever)?" and turn the channel. However, it could also work the other way with the same John Q. Casualfan seeing Joe, go "Who's this fat ass wrestling (insert ex-WWE/WCW guy here)?", then see him hit a tope or something like that and stick around for a bit to see if he does anything else cool. Then they'd see something stupid that TNA usually does on every Impact and turn the channel.

51 plays 2 Rec, 7 yards, 1 dropped pass. Nevermind, and don't change things that's going to upset the team either. I'll slowly grind my levels up, was just wondering initially why it seems I'm not getting much thrown my way (bug? Special Teams?). I made the change yesterday after the game, so we'll have to wait until the next game to see if it'll have any effect.

That was only for a few games, but even so, yeah Allison did get a lot of balls thrown her way. Anyways, I changed Geru's tactics so he doesn't go for the long pass so much since that may have hurt things. I also made Chriswok and Morty his favorite targets, so they can get more balls thrown their way and maybe get more EXP.

I would comment on the Joe thing, but I feel the argument over him is kinda stupid. I'll just say that I like Joe and I think he's one of the top workers around. Now, for the topic at hand, I have to wonder why so much attention on the ratings? TNA gets no revenue from them and really, outside of pleasing Spike, they aren't all that important. They average about a million viewers, every week right? Well, financially, if they could convert more than 2-3% of their audience, they would be fine. But does that come down to better marketing, better booking, or both?

I'm not very good at NBA 2k8, but I do own it and have Xbox Live, so I'll join in if this gets started.

I don't really change my passing tactics. My last change was maybe two games ago where I made Onita Geru's favorite target. I'll probably start favoring long passes since Geru can throw now.

I'd rather see him go for the RAW or Smackdown title than the ECW title. At least with either of those title shots, he'd be in a match that would actually get a fair amount of time and maybe even get to main event a PPV instead of being in the opening or next to opening match.
