It's simply amazing how DX has squashed every single team on RAW. They literally killed Raw's tag team division singled-handedly. I mean, seriously, wow.

I'm kinda tired so if I'm completely wrong about you talking about Full Metal Alchemist, then just disregard this post. But yeah, FMA the anime and FMA the manga appear to be very different from what I can tell. Lots of little and big things make the two different. Not to mention the anime come to an end while the manga is still running IIRC.

Seeing how Russo is booking this entire show, it's gonna be a pretty good barometer of how his run as Head Booker is gonna go. I would buy this PPV if I had money and digital cable. That way I could look back at TNA's turning point, for better or worse. Heh, if Joe jobs, it'd be kinda funny if everyone in the arena started chanting "Fuck you, Russo", then left before the end of the show.

I listened to Only Built 4 Cuban Lynx for the first time a few days ago. It completely blew me away with it's greatness. I also gave Ghostface's Fishscale a listen. Very enjoyable.

I don't know if Russo and Jarrett are still buddy-buddy at this point, considering how ugly things were when Russo left TNA the last time he was booking. Although, I have to admit, now I'm scared for TNA considering the only person who can filter Russo's ideas is Dixie Carter. Even if they barred him from booking "sleaze" (what the hell does that mean anyways?), Russo getting what is basically free reign is not good at all.

I have no idea what to make of this. I don't want to say it'll be horrible and something tells me it won't be great either. Russo's booked a lot of bad, but he could do some good when it comes to the X-division lower midcarders who have ill defined characters. But then there's the whole "his storyline make no sense". I dunno, I'll just sit back and see what happens. The McMahons are probably laughing their asses off right now. When did Russo's WWF run end? '99 or 2000?

I'm wondering who the hell is Brian Cantor? Why should I believe what he says? Anyways, if this is true, then this is big, a turning point for the company and in a few years we'll look back and either say that this was TNA's greatest victory or their biggest mistake. This is a sink or swim situation for TNA and they have a lot of things they need to do. Going head to head with RAW is basically a declaration of war, so they have to do everything they can to keep their roster from being raided. They gotta advertise, do the bold thing and buy some advertising time during RAW. I dunno, this just seems like a bad idea, but it is a bit of a feel good story, TNA going from a weekly PPV promotion that no one thought would survive the first three months to one about to go head to head with WWE. Still, I find this kind of hard to believe. Has Meltzer said something about this?

Hmm, I thought Gabe didn't like Hero. Hell, going off what he said in response to a fan's question on WOL, I thought he wouldn't be making any more ROH appearences. Oh well. Anyways, I'm not all that into ROH, so odds are I'll never go out of my way to watch this show, but it sounds like it was pretty good.

Personally, I could see Joe winning at No Surrender then at Impact, make a big deal out of the fact that he actually defeated Jarrett, in a singles match, and isn't getting a title shot, while Sting, who has already lost and (to my knowledge), hasn't even pinned JJ, is getting another title shot. What followed was an MASSIVE ratings ballon with the hispanic demographic being far and away the top demo for Smackdown. The show revolved around the comedy of two latinos playing up a stereotype that most hispanics connect with. They GOT that it was a parody and they got with Eddie because he used it to his advantage to succeed. Does that mean CrymeTyme will register? Who knows if these two guys have the charisma that Eddie does to connect but to make an horrible statement like that is completely false just on factual basis alone. There IS a market for this stuff and it SELLS in a big fucking way. the "massive" balloon start with the eddie and chavo skits or when eddie won the title? but whatever..I found the lie,cheat and steal thing racist as well but taking the worst stereotype attributed to black males and playing it off for humor is repulsive and it takes the cake...this is along the same lines as saba simba, race wars '98, mama benjamin, etc and these racistl angles is part of the reason numbers are down across the board...theres many more reasons but wwe sure as hell arent gaining fans and mocking an entire race isnt going to help either You think this is going to hurt the ratings among African-Americans? This brings up a question, how long is Kurt Angle's No-Compete Clause? Is it 90 days, like most of the rosters' or is it much longer considering he was a Main Eventer?

After I read the NWA rules thread in General Wrestling, I decided to check out the NWA website, for shits and giggles and see what the rankings for the various NWA titles were. Apparently after Sting, Dru Onyx is the next "official" contender for the World Title. Joe is ranked 5th and Christian Cage is 10th. Also, after LAX, the #1 contenders for the tag titles are Chono and Tenzan. Lots of fun kayfabe stuff.
