Satellite has been the choice for me since my former cable company kept realigning its channel selection and jacking up the price simultaneously. Not much of a difference except for access to East Coast feeds and a slightly lower cost than cable, so I've been happy with the basic package so far. I'm just hoping the feed will hold when the wind and rain pick up.

That's the car I'd want to see if I were the victim of a hit & run.

For a Dead Pool for wrestlers of the 80's and 90's, seems like you'd have to give more points for the ones that die at an older age. Cripes. Fairly indifferent about his wrestling career outside of his run as Kona Crush and Purple Crush. Bummer that he's another one in a growing list.

I get a kick out of her "think things through" advice.

The interface in the Dragonforce video jives with the one presented in the videos on IGN, so if it is a fake, they certainly did their homework. And Jordan on Expert is just about the same sort of guitar-destroying-frustration-note-madness as the video so it's not out of the realm of possibility for me to imagine they would put a song like that in the bonus tracks. And some people CAN beat Jordan on Expert, so you've got to throw a doom-track like this to cater to those people.

Got the axe from HP when they decided to downsize and move my job from California to Houston. Nothing spectacular with my layoff, though the first day of mass firings was something to behold. One day, the HR folks basically walked up to people at their desks and told them to grab their stuff. Granted they got severance, but that's still not a cool way to go down. I got a letter telling me what day I was going to be fired on.

I'm thinking bonus track since so few people are capable of pulling that insanity off. Especially if they use the full song complete with the solo.

As the Arizona Cardinals in Madden 2004, starting the campaign by dealing an aging Emmitt Smith to the 49ers for either a 1st or 2nd round pick (too hazy to remember which). Signing over-the-hill vets from the FA list with no signing bonus then turning around and trading them for talented rookies and/or draft picks made it too easy to build up an uber-squadron in a matter a season or two.

The most brilliant newspaper ad I've seen.

Being there live, HBK turning on Hogan to set up their Mania program was a memorable one for me. Crowd cheering for the dual posedown and the Sweet Chin Music dropping Hogan just stunned the crowd before the small Holy Shit chant started up.

Too lazy to find the one official pic they released where it's the Joker makeup looking straight at you. That mug and that laugh are the last thing I'd want to see and hear at night. Creepy. EDIT: This is stuff nightmares are made of.

I've been looking through for evidence of Kane supposedly attempting a rana since I haven't seen it firsthand. I'm filing under urban myth until I find a video of it. From a few pages back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIFC6fmxNs4

Fuuuuck...please tell me that's a 'Shopped pic.

Sacramento is an extremely small market and it's a terrible place to hold a UFC event unless you give us a marquee fight with a few devastating stoppages throughout the night. If Dana scratches Sac off the future event list, I'll be bummed but I really wouldn't blame him. Also I couldn't watch the show at my normal bar scene because of the poor attendance blackout. Fuck a bunch of Sac indeed.

He likely knows of it if he digs Ultimate Alliance, but that reminds me--I got a good rental out of Justice League Heroes, a decent clone of the XML games. Unrelated: Oh, and I always thought Robo's theme (Chrono Trigger) sounded familar for some reason... http://rickrobo.ytmnd.com/ Man the first time I heard Robo's Theme, I had to sing "Never Gonna Give You Up". To this day, I'm convinced that it couldn't be coincidental.

It finally went up on the menu at my local Wendy's so I had one. I don't think it was really worth the $5 since I could get a BK Stacker for essentially the same meaty, soul-stealing sandwich but at a lower price. I think I'll probably stick to their awesome dollar menu. Frostys and chicken nuggets are where it's at.

Either I'm going to get shut out or I'm just going to come up huge in the latter stages of the year. I don't feel like there's going to be any between for me here. And Mr. Wizard dying is a sad one for me. Watched his show all the time as a kid when Nickelodeon was just starting out.

Interesting card so far. I'm intrigued in how the Gonzaga-Couture pans out. There are matchup problems on both sides of the table. Like jwpeer said, Gonzaga's going to be a tough challenge for Couture and has a legitimate chance of taking this one, but Couture is Couture when it comes to winning when things look bad. With all the unexpected outcomes that has been going on lately, it's hard to tell who's going to win anymore. I really hope GSP has recovered from his loss to Serra and takes out Koscheck. I'm also wondering who Sylvia will end up fighting. The only name unfamiliar to me is Pellegrino.

1. Ultracade's Street Fighter Anniversary Edition. 2. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection 3. NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC 4. Time Crisis 4 5. Initial D 4th Stage 6. DDR Supernova 7. Air Hockey 8. Super Shot Basketball 9. DrumMania V2 10. GuitarFreaks V2 The last two are for me, but I think that it's a decent list. It's a cookie cutter college arcade setup, but I can't really deviate too much if the goal is to be succesful.

You think somebody would've pointed those eyes out.

The closest one to me is the Golfland/Sunsplash in Roseville. The condition of the arcade is continuously shoddy due to regular maintenance staff turnover and the huge influx of kids/teens with little respect of property that's not their own. The rec room at Sac State is my choice arcade for the time being. The small selection of fighters, DrumMania, Initial D and occasional game of 9-Ball is enough to keep me satisfied. I'd make more trips to the Milipitas Golfland if it wasn't too far out from where I live.

So they're changing the button color scheme for the next one? That's a little strange, but I should be fine since I use the middle button as a reference point. While it isn't an obvious GH song, Sabotage performed by the Beastie Boys has me intrigued. Evenflow is going to get alot of play from me.

Does anybody have a clip/GIF of Keith Jardine getting mauled by Houston Alexander? That was one of the most brutal series of punches and one knee I've seen. I thought Jardine was going to fall dead after the first uppercut, but he somehow got back to his feet and kept getting punished. The way he fell with the mouthpiece falling out...man... Props to Alexander though. Aside from getting rocked fist, that was one hell of a way to make a UFC debut.
