I haven't seen many MMA fights, but has there been a pussy run worse than the one Verner did against Franca? I've never seen a man move that fast with his back turned from an opponent after getting hurt in an MMA fight.

The original Monster Rancher for the PS. Half the fun was going through my CDs and seeing what monsters I could get. I've owned all of games at one point or another. 4 is my personal favorite and I really hate the direction they took with EVO with the circus troupe. I picked up La Pucelle for PS2 on an blind buy. I liked it, got Disgaea a while later and from there my NIS fandom began. Monster Hunter for PS2 . Since I didn't have network play available to me at the time, I didn't really like it. Now that I have Monster Hunter Freedom for PSP with some buddies to play it with, I realize that network play absolutely makes that game.

SC III is officially a Greatest Hits title, so that $20 price tag is permanent.

Has Haruhi Suzumiya been picked up for US release yet? I got my first look of it and I'm quite intrigued. I really like the ending theme and the animation that accompanies it.

Good evening, this is Howard Finkel, and welcome to WWF Wrestlemania by Midway!

Sadly I've seen maybe three Urusei Yatsura episodes. I want to see more, but whoever has the license right now won't deal out the cheaper thinpak sets. I don't really feel like plunking down the major cash for an older series.

I've said it multiple times, but Maison Ikkoku is by far Rumiko Takahashi's best work in my opinion. The story has a great blend of comedy and romance, the lead characters are relatable, the supporting cast is solid, very few chapters feel like filler, and the conclusion wraps it all up in a very nice package. The anime is also a good view if you can manage to find the boxsets. I haven't read enough Hana Yori Dango to give an opinion though.

- I got a moral victory off my buddy that gets really frustrated really easily in Street Fighter Alpha 3 with my Karin vs his Ryu. I turtle in the corner and he's getting kinda pissed because it doesn't look like I'm fighting. He jumps in, I counter-hit. He jumps in, I counter-hit. He jumps in, I counter-hit. He jumps in, I counter with her QCB+P and link it with her anti-air super. 75% of his health is gone and he basically mumbles about how cheap I'm being he soft resets and leaves the room. - Having the hardest time of my life trying to beat Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts WITH a Game Genie. - Not a gaming moment per se, but while playing Brutal on the SNES, a swarm of hornets ate a hole in the ceiling and began flooding into my bedroom, forcing me to run and scream in bloody terror. I loved the rat's one-punch bingo KO move.

It's more of a Face Wash using his groin instead of his boot. SEI! SEI! SEI! WHOOOOOOOOA SEI!

Are there any opinions on the Ah My Goddess anime? I like what I've seen in the first two volumes of the manga so the DVDs have been tempting me. The Christmas Special is definitely worth the pickup if you like the series. You really only need to know the bare minimum about the characters since the plot is pretty good. Regarding the Motoko (Kendo Girl) special episode included with the Christmas Special: If what I heard is correct, that episode was meant to be the first episode for the second season, but budget problems prevented that and it ended up being the last episode of the series before the OVAs. Love Hina Again is based around the events between volumes 11 and 12 of the manga. The manga ends 2 volumes later in which the true ending

Happy Birthday DJ Jeff and Bannable Offense!

I'm pretty sure there's a proxy list for these drafts. That way you can stack the top of the list with the players you really want in the event you no-show.

Already have it and I endorse this statement. Especially for the lot of us that never played it on the PS1 and don't want to plunk down the triple-digit prices on eBay for a copy.

About time Elite Beat Agents got a release date. Now I can add it to my burgeoning pre-order list. Can anybody recommend a good PS2 arcade controller? I've been on a fighting game binge as of late and really prefer to use a joystick rather than the d-pad.

Well, just fudge a few numbers and there you go.

It's time to start the Booker injury pool...

Why is a very generic looking cover for a James Dean documentary or biography movie double take worthy and worthy of posting in the anime thread? The best answer I have is mistaking that cover for a live-action Trigun. EDIT: Let me be the first to say that I'm a bit shocked to hear that Crayon Shin-chan is actually making it onto American TV. It'll be interesting how the Adult Swim masses react to the test run.

Too lazy to see if it's been posted already, but it's such a blast from the past not to post. The Original RAW Opening

A bit surreal to see the People's Elbow prior to it becoming the big flashy spot it would become.

That span of two minutes still boggles my mind. That had to be the shittiest day in John Carney's career.

spman has it all wrong. The listed plagues have NOT been cured. However, teaching a chimp to play Pac-Man is the most logical step in finally doing so. -
And don't forget Elite Beat Agents (the Americanized Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!) should hit stateside at the end of the year. It sounds more like a way to prevent the name from being used by others and creating confusion. Now if they finally bring Guitar Freaks stateside and use Guitar Revolution instead, then the "WTF?" flags can be thrown.

It's been too long since I've watched the Slayers series, but from what I remember Slayers Great has the usual Lina and Naga schtick and the plot as a whole is pretty good. It's been out for awhile, so I'm sure you can find a copy of it fairly cheap if you wanted to pick it up. If anything, it's worth a budget buy.

Only accident I've ever witnessed was at the grocery store near my house when I was about eight. An old Buick made a completely ill-advised left turn trying to go into the parking lot and the truck coming from the other side couldn't stop in time and nailed in on the passenger side, lifting the car onto two wheels, skidding a bit then slamming back onto the pavement hard. I remember people running towards the wreck while I ran back to my house in sheer terror. I felt bad later on because it was an elderly lady in the Buick and she died due to the injuries sustained.
