Haven't had a chance to fully play it yet, as I was playing at a friend's house, but so far, I've gather, cops are no fuckin joke. Even at like 2-3 stars, these guys will swarm you, and 3 cars surrounding you, plus about 10 cops unloading bullets at you? That's hard to escape. (At least in this first section of the game in which you have no weapons of course)

Sweet, new desktop. That looks incredibly sleek, would be the best word I can think of. It's really simple, yet really creepy at the same time. Can't wait for this movie.

Quick question, as I don't feel like going through all the reviews/information to find out. Has there been anything said about any local co-op, like San Andreas had? I know it seems somewhat pointless, considering there's a 16 man multiplayer, but it'd still be fun to just go to a friends house, and run around the city, without having to take turns on live. San Andreas' "multiplayer" however simple, was fun.

I have never used a 360 before, does this overide all sounds or just the music? As much as I love being able to listen to my own music selection while playing games I think if loses a bit when it's not actually IN the game like on one of the various radio stations. Woulda been awesome to have a "Custom" radio station in which you could put your own stuff into. I always loved the realism of getting into a car and playing with the radio in GTA games. It depends on the game. A game like Gears of War, it played in the background, just like the real background music, Under all the rest of the games audio sounds and everything. But then there's others, and I can't think of any right now but I know I have some, where you pretty much mainly only hear the music. (I mean, you can always here the normal SFX but on some games the music seems to take over a bit.) And in the case of GTA, if it's like Saint's Row, the music will in fact sound like it's part of the radio, but the only thing is that it also plays when you aren't in a car. Which I suppose you could turn it off when you get out, but that seems like a hassle. edit- You know, random thought, but I'm curious as to whether seasons change. (since they seem to have taken everything else into account...love the blood splatters on the cars!) I mean, with Rockstar's last game being Bully, although the setup was different, that had seasons changed. And most of the videos I've seen of GTAIV with trees around, they're all red/orange/yellow giving off the fall vibe. But hopefully at some point we get Liberty City covered in snow. It'd be fun to just go off in 'Central Park' while people are ice skating in the winter. And I imagine the blood would look sweet in the snow. Sounds overly violent, but hey, thats' the whole point of the game.

Ha, awesome, is all I can say. Not really a spoiler, but just a reveal of what one of the "collectible side missions" is. (Like the packages in GTA3) But maybe there's someone who doesn't want to know yet. A link to a video.

Hey, Chris Johnson's a Tennessee Titan now. I had classes with this guy. (I go to ECU) And all I can say....is it's a good thing he's this good at football. Not the sharpest guy I've ever met. But pretty cool I can say I know someone in the NFL, I suppose.

Is the audio about a second ahead of the video for anybody else? It was like this last week, and I just thought it was our crappy CW channel. but it's doing it again this week.

You know, one reasonable way to try and get these new commentators over, is to not have wrestlers come out there and trash them. Last week we had MVP talking about Coach. And this week Morrison jokes on Coach, and Adamle. (I mean, of course they're bad, but having your workers point out that they are, probably isn't the best thing.)

Yea, I haven't been this anxious for a game in a while. And some of these people having the game early, and seeing all of these vids just make it worse. From what I've seen, the driving mechanics didn't actually look that great. Cars were really swervy, and looked really hard to handle. But maybe the people playing were just poor drivers. Question, is there any way to make the computer throw less balls? Or anywhere in the sliders I should say. (MLB 2k7, but I figure it's probably the same) Because the fuckin computer seems to throw an extreme amount of balls, and I'm talking in the dirt, or just nowhere near the plate. And even when I can clearly see this, it's my natural reaction to swing the stick, and I can't really stop my finger. And it's getting really annoying, because most of my strikes are just at horrible pitches.

I don't know, but I think they did the whole "Only 9 more episodes left" thing at the end of the show. Which of course means it'll be ending a lot sooner then usual. I suppose since they're doing hour episodes, it's about the same in regards to amount of content though. I remember a while back, there was a rumor this was supposedly the last season. (Although I don't believe that's the case as I'm pretty sure they're still doing auditions) but maybe they're just getting tired of the Real World?

Hm. Isn't that kind of a plot hole? If he'd been with her a year, surely it would have come up... at minimum genital herpes (it was herpes, not warts) will have outbreaks once or twice a year. But did he seem like the type of guy that would REALLY tell her even if they were? Seems like he would have had the "Ah, oh well, she probably won't catch it...and so what if she does" attitude.
