I don't know if it's by pure coincidence but I always felt the WWE was subtly putting off a Cena/Orton showdown. The two were often compared to each other and are still today somewhat. Orton is the better worker right now in my opinion and with some build, it can be some pretty decent stuff but when will you think it will happen? Again, it could just be me...

On the subject or Carlito's name, why not just call him Carlito Colon? It's been mentioned many times on TV that he's Carlos Colon's son and it's not like Carlos was a major star in the states or anything so he won't be living off his name. btw, do Dave Finley and Dave Taylor still work for WWE?

It's all about who he faces in his debut. If you're running vignettes and his first match is against a face then obviously, he'll be the heel. If he's facing a heel then he's a face. And I'm not talking about jobber faces like Hurricane, Stevie, Tajiri etc. because when he debuted, face Val Venis defeated face Scorpio and in his debut, heel Chris Masters destroyed heel Stevie Richards. Make his debuted against a midcard heel if you want to portray someone as a face after running vignettes.

JR kept calling him Carribean Cool Carlito so they decided it was too complicated for him and shortened it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They shortnened it long before he came to Raw. I think the change came when he was injured. They thought the name was too long to get the point across so they simply started calling hom Carlito.

I'm guessing they're saving the Invasion/Survivor Series stuff until after the PPV so that they won't overshadow No Mercy. Things should pick up by next week.

I met Chris Daniels about two years ago at an indy show and he was really cool and signed my ticket. He even took some time to take pictures with fans and this is when he first entered the building, he didn't even get to the locker room yet. Cool guy.
