This thread really isnt as much about HD as it is about her annoying blinking. The HD only factors in because I wouldnt have watched the SOTU speech if it wasnt in HD. You could see her blinking in 4:3, so everyone saw her blinking.. I swear its gonna be the #1 topic tomorrow..I couldnt tell you one thing Bush said aside from the shoutouts to Dikembe Mutombo and the Subway guy..her blinking was that distracting..between that and her re-arranging her dentures in her mouth with her tongue every 5 minutes.. Egh..

None of the commercials tipped you off? I only remember the Fed Ex commercials with the guy that could talk really fast. I dont remember any U-P-S commercials.

He actually lives in Arizona, and the WWE would only get press attention if he showed up for it, which I doubt. Hmm. WM 24 from arizona..that new fandangled retractable field stadium they have.

After Dale drove the big brown truck, I couldnt care less about UPS ads. and..huge question.. Do you refer to UPS as "U-P-S" or "UPS"? As a kid my grandmother always went "UPS" or "The UPSMan is here!" and I sorta got hooked on that way, and really I did not realize until a couple years ago it was really supposed to be "U-P-S".

For everyone praising Bubble (the few of you that are), I must say that the only reason I watched it was because it was in HD the day it premiered alongside the theatrical release. But it was one of the most boring movies Ive seen in a long time. For the HDNet Movies/Theatrical simultaneous release movies, Id go with "One Last Thing" easily and in fact its on my list. Also, Im pretty sure anyone who was a 24 fan hated the Sentinel.. I have Saw 3 and A Scanner Darkly now. Snakes on a Plane cant go on my worst list cause I enjoyed it way more than I should have and Crank wasnt that bad (or good)..kinda average.

People are complaining its just a rehash of SSX3 though. I got SSX Tricky and SSX3 but never got On Tour even though that had the Nintendo characters. I might get Blur...but Im not all that enthused about it.

That makes ton of sense. They obviously dont figure the eCW title match is much of a sell on the RR. either that or Test wins the title at the RR. LOL

The reason you cant take the ECW guys seriously in the RR match is because theres no way an ECW title match main events WM, so unless one of them wins and decides to take on Cena/Batista, which totally destroys any credibility that the ECW title still has left, theres no chance of one of them winning.

IM surprised they didnt do a rename to pick 3 divas with the names that start with T, N & A.

I didnt figure anyone cared, Im probably the only one watching the SOTU, and only because its in glorious HD on about 5 networks (not counting fox and their damned widescreen SD crap). But her blinking will be what everyone is talking about tomorrow.

They pretty much have to put Ali in this year since he might not make it to next year. Save Mr T for another time. Ali, Iron Shiek, Ted Dibiase and Dusty Rhodes. Oh, and since the WWE brought back the HOF, they should bring back the Slammys.

Today was the first time I actually saw a stack of about 15 PS3's (60 GB) at the front entrance of my Best Buy just sitting there looking all sad, right in front of a stack of 360's sitting there too. Still no damned Wii Component cables though... Id buy the thing in a heartbeat if they dropped the price to $450 instead of $600 just for the fact its a Blu Ray player, but theres no way that will happen any time soon in the U.S.

I wouldnt mind seeing Orton/Cena. Edge/Cena has been done too many times. HBK/Cena wont happen cause its face/face..that really doesn't leave much else.

I thought the kid looked too much like Kim... Its pretty interesting that Mr. Bluetooth from Day 5, the man pulling Logan's strings for the last few hours, is Jack's brother. And with it already leaked that Logan is a part of this years, it would not surprise me in the least that the connection is made, but it doesn't really make any sense and seems just like a "lets bring back a character from last year" plot. The plane will make it to DC, although it will be interesting to see how long a plane trip from LA to DC in the 24 universe takes since I do not think its happened before. Theres no reason to kill Asad and I also cant see one of the weapons thats not even fixed to work yet making it on the plane in the next episode or so. But I'll be willing to put down that Asad isn't the peace wanting former terrorist that everyone is now buying him to be.
