I get pissed when Os games on National networks like ESPN (and a couple weeks ago with the Os vs the Braves on TBS and vs the White Sox) get blacked out here despite the fact that there is no TV coverage here besides those national broadcasts.

Actually, 20 seems to be pretty late to have kids in the Delmarva area. Lots of the girls around here have them at 18 and are already married. This tends to happen when you live in a very serious "birth control is bad" Christian zone. And people wonder why I aimed out of Delmarva for a girl. Bloody birth control hatin women. I was gonna attribute it more to the lower shore being the last northern outpost of Rednecks but I guess what you say is true as well. I guess they sort of run hand in hand. All I know is, most of the girls that I graduated with that I still know live around here have 2 or 3 kids, some are still with the fathers but most are trying to do the single mom thing. The ones that I dont see around anymore I assume went to college and moved far away..

Dont know. Even Im not stupid enough to worry about her anymore after I got the "call me back tomorrow" and in doing so get a ringing phone, and 2 more subsuquent calls got the same thing. Short of going to her apartment and asking her face to face (well..uh..not quite) theres wasn't anything else I could do.

Info on Braves: TBS will show 70 Braves games nationally next year, then 45 per season locally through 2013. Up to 13 of those Atlanta games can be shown on TBS' Sunday package. So no more national Braves games after next year unless its one of those sunday games.

The lead singer of Minor Threat, the punk band of the early 1980's that introduced the concept of Straight Edge in a popular song describing the principles of sXe had a Coca-Cola tattoo. Punk, used to drink cartons of Pepsi every saturday morning watching wrestling as a kid. When Punk was growing up, the local bullies that often attacked Punk had beer logos tattooed on them. Punk got the pepsi tattoo to play off the sXe connection, the attachment to wrestling and a sorta "fuck-you" to the bullies that led him to wrestling as a career. Well..I didnt know that.
