The DH in the All Star Game when its in a NL park was fine because it was every other year, but MLB has done away with alternating AL/NL sites since next years game is in SF. They might as well (err..edit: ADD) the DH in the All Star game too.

Theres gonna be a show on The Science channel on July 10th at 9pm (bad timing with the HR Derby) called "The Secret Formula of Baseball" and it looks interesting sort of. Os have first and third, one out down 6-2 in the 8th. Edit: Bad throw by Betemit allows a run to score and runners at second and third.

No answer after like 8 rings or so. I could assume she might call me back, but I doubt it. I dont know if Im going to call back or not..but if I do it wont be for a while. I was able to pick out a few positives from this whole experience although at this point they are more like "its about goddamn time" than actually positives. For instance I've never talked to anyone on the phone for over 2 hours, I've never been invited over to a girls house before and actually went, and its been 6 years since I've hugged anyone outside of my family. Of course, this all just feeds the fuel of the "Im a huge pathetic loser" fire even more.

All I know is wednesday, before I left, she told me she would know tonight what she was doing because she goes over to her parents house practically every night (she misses her dog which they dont allow pets at the apartment building she lives in). I guess its possible she doesn't know..but thats not exactly what I gathered from the tone of her voice, which was completely different even from when we were talking on Wednesday.

I didnt read the spoilers and since I cant watch the Os game..its Smackdown for me although I've got to make my phone call here shortly.

I hate it when Directv blocks out a national channel like ESPN (or in this case, TBS) when they have an Os game on and there isn't any other way to watch the game locally (its not on Comcast Sportsnet and my UPN station isn't picking the game up either). Fuck the MLB blackout rules.
