The Ravens haven't worn purple (well as their main color) so far, this week is white, last week was all black.

The Ravens, for all intents and purposes, haven't scored a TD in 6 Quarters (the Colts just flat out gave up in the last minute of the game last week), and today they have 0 first downs and 27 yards of offense which has been wiped out by almost 30 yards of penalties. Theres no doubt in my mind the Ravens are the worst team in the NFL right now.

I have a Visa issued by Bank of America. Its strictly a "for emergency use only" mainly because of the shitty interest rate (I think its like 21%). The only advantage I can think of is that its directly linked to my bank account online and I can pay it immediately instead of having to wait for them to decide to credit it and then go late fee happy on it. But chances are if its a big enough emergency to need to use it, I won't be able to avoid the interest and late fees..so..doesn't really matter. The only other Credit Card I have is Best Buy. I took advantage of their No interest for 2 years on HDTVs last october and no interest for 6 months on $300+ to buy my HD-Tivo.

Rita headed towards the Gulf of Mexico Well, the good news is, if Rita heads towards New Orleans, they wont need to worry about evacuating. BUT..since the track has it possibly going towards TEXAS, Im guessing that if it even looks like its headed to Texas, people will be evacuated in plenty of time. And oh the Irony if it heads towards Houston...

One could assume that Flair beats Carlito for the IC title, and then when HHH comes back, he comes out in the middle of a rematch and instead of helping Flair, he costs him the match/title. Theres no way the match is for the IC title..and theres no way its just "lets have a match to see who's the best"...HHH is going to have to do something to piss off Flair. Oh, and I could really see the match ending with HBK coming down to the ring to save Flair, and then instead of hitting either, they all hug and you get 3/4 of the 4 horsemen reformed. This would make sense especially with Survivor Series coming up and a possible Elimination Chamber match, HHH grouping up with HBK and the mystery 4th Horsemen (Angle? Edge?) to be in the match (flair wouldn't be in the EC match) so that the deck would be "stacked" against Cena again...

MarvinisaLunatic (The Court Jesters): Dirk Nowitzki, Baron Davis, Jason Williams/Tyson Chandler (still need a decision on this) --- I dare think Baron Davis will manage to play a whole season without missing a ton of games to injury, but I want Chandler instead of Williams.

So..Threshold.. Positives: Strong Cast, digging the hot chick and her band of geeks and a midget in a quest to save the world..and ooh you just know they cast Brent Spiner as the doctor to attract the sci fi/star trek fans to it, but I think he fills the role well. Charles Dutton seems to be a good fit too. Interesting, but convoluted story. Some wierd things from parts unknown are altering humans..oooh..X filesish. Negatives: Cheap looking special effects and visuals (even worse in HD..ugh). The story would make a better movie than a series. Overall, Im interested in a 3rd episode, but uh..Im not that enthused about the show.

Well, the Gamecube controller will work with the Revolution..but I have a feeling that the same people that hate the Revolution control system hate the Gamecube controller as well. Oh, and its kind of funny because Nintendo tried something similar 16 years ago with the Power Glove.. All the Revolution needs now is a sequel to Wizard with Corey playing the new Mario game with the Revolution controller.

OK, first of all...(damn that I have to be to work in 45 minutes..but I gotta get this out) 3rd Party Support - The gamecube is almost completely devoid of it now to start with. Im thinking the innovation in the controller might give developers a sense of challenge to develop a game that takes advantage of the controllers capabilities. The big hit will be in ports of games across the 3 new consoles...but I always fucking hate it when they port a game across all 3 consoles now and cater to the PS2 first and then just slap together versions for the XBox and Gamecube (if they even bother with the cube). And with everyone talking about how it closely mimicks the feel of a mouse/keyboard layout for playing PC games, I could imagine that maybe Nintendo figured that PC game companies would jump at the chance to develop games for the Revolution, but who knows? Nintendo has always been cutting edge on their controllers and usually what they come up with is copied shortly after. The interesting thing is that now I understand why they waited..with the sensors being built into the console, its something that Sony or Microsoft cant easily copy without making it look stupid (having to buy an add on sensor that would sit on top of the console along with whatever controllers they could come up with). Im personally glad it is what it is...and not some user customisable touch pad screen thing with different layouts. The fact that the remote can be held like an NES controller instantly adds to the fun of the fact that the Revolution can play the NES games and you'll have a controller that can mimick the NES controller somewhat, although I have no clue how youd control any of the other console's games. It honestly is quite a revolution in the controller though, and if you think about it...game consoles are 50 bazillion times better than the NES was, and yet essentially the controllers are still stuck to what they were like 20+ years ago with the NES. You can have the snazziest 3D Graphics and everything, but you're still controlling the game with a controller reminiscent of something from the 80's. Sure, I see a lot of people hating it..but that stems from a lot of people who hate change... I have a lot more to say, unfortunately not enough time to type it.

One of my roomates in college got piss drunk, passed out in the middle of the living room and puked all overhimself. My other 2 roomates decided it would be hillarious if they shaved his head and put him in the bathtub. No one bothered to tell me this, so when I got home I had to go to the bathroom, and apparently he was just starting to come to his senses, I'm hearing weird groaning noises from behind the shower curtain, and Im thinking "WTF..I just didnt walk in on..." and then he proceded to open the shower curtain, puke all over my feet, close the shower curtain and turn on the shower, while still in his clothes.

Comcast bought Techtv so that they could get G4 onto other cable networks since practically no one other than Comcast carried G4 and Tech TV was on both sat services and a lot of cable too. They never had any intention of keeping any of the Tech TV shows..and aside from X Play (which was one of TechTVs few game themed shows) thats pretty much all that remains. Call for Help being back doesn't really count, they just re-air it from Tech TV Canada or whatever its called. Oh, and fun little fact. Martin Sargent posts on Fark, and he has a blog..I feel pretty bad for him though..

Leo Laporte is back (Call for Help) at 11 am (I set up a season pass on my Tivo), only problem is its more or less Call For Help : Canada Version as they do it in Canada. They don't take any US Calls (not even a phone number or anything) and aside from a couple of interesting things, its overall really boring. But at least they brought Leo back. Any Leo is better than no Leo. Oh, and Comcast succeded in ruining all of the carry over shows from Tech TV, as now I can't even watch X Play anymore. Screensavers is now a pile of garbage (OMG ITS THE ATTACK OF THE SHOW!111!). Good job Comcast..good job.

I have high hopes for Kitchen Confidential, but..every review I've read said it will be canceled quickly. I think these were the only two new "sitcom/comedy" series on FOX , which says something for the genre.

Wisconsin should have thought about the punishment for underage kids that don't have their licenses. Of course passing that sort of stuff into law, they'd have to admit that they've got 12 and 13 year olds running around drunk.

I was sorta hoping it would have more..so it doesn't look like its worth purchasing since I already saw it, but I'll rent it.

Im so glad I got my tivo..the ability to record 2 shows (RAW and Prison Break in HD) while I watch the football game makes things a lot easier.
