The Os are looking to get him to sign back for less money but 2 years. He might go back to St. Louis though, so nothings definite as of now.

Daal's on the team, but probably in the bullpen. He absolutely stunk as a starter. Hentgen was solid in the 2nd half and I think that he'll be resigned and will get a rotation spot, at least early in the year until some of the young pitchers are ready to be called up. Oh, and I rumors are that its not inconcievable that the Os would resign Ponson, but I still think that there will probably be differences in the years/$$$ between the two sides. But if it could be done, that would certainly make the trade for Moss/Ainsworth an absolute steal and would give them a really solid Rotation, especially if Ainsworth doesn't suffer any ill effects from the shoulder injury and they can get Moss to revert to his season with Atlanta (cut down the walks!)

Few things I've learned in week 1. TJ Ford is an assist monster but he can't score worth a lick. I'll take the assists though since Baron Davis is the more complete PG. Juwan Howard has pulled down a ton of rebounds, a bonus since I picked him up more for his scoring. Lorenzen Wright probably isn't a viable backup Center... Currently Im winning 7-1, but after tonight I don't have any more players, and Pocono only has Karl Malone.

If Vince wants to be SPORTS Entertainment, than he can deal with the steroids problem just like the NFL/NBA/Olympics are having to do as of late especially with the whole new thing about the undetectable "designer" steroids that will be declared illegal by the US government rather soon. Or Vince could take the MLB approach and do nothing until the government forces them to.

The way I figure it, the Os have 4 holes (RF/1B, SS, C, 1 SP). The RF/1B problem stems from the fact that Jay Gibbons can play either position, so they need to pick up someone who can play either spot. Money goes to Vlad to play RF. At SS, Deivi Cruz sucks. Some speculation would have the Os going after Tejada/Matsui, but I think the Os will go with Hairston at SS and Roberts at 2nd. At Catcher, Brook Fordyce might be resigned, but only as a backup, so they need to sign someone, and it will probably be Javy Lopez. I don't know who they'll sign to fill the pitching hole, but it will probably not be any of the top pitchers on the list above. C - Lopez 1B - Gibbons 2B - Roberts SS - Hairston 3B - Batista RF - Vlad CF - Mora LF - Cordova DH - Cust Rotation Moss Ainsworth Johnson Hentgen ???
