What movie(s) did you watch today?

Halloween and H20 are on FX. And Sci Fi Channel, seemingly scraped the bottom of the genre barrel and dug out Wishmaster 1-4 or 5 for an all day marathon. -

Halloween 3, taken on its own merits, is a decent movie but because its "Halloween 3" most people blast it. I think that they should have released a dvd of it with the extra 40 or so minutes that was supposedly cut out. And the worst Halloween movie (outside of Resurection which I haven't seen yet) is #6. -
Yes, of course 15,000 in a 40,000 seat stadium looks better than in a 65,000 seat stadium. No one ever said otherwise and they'd be a damn fool to try. I was just saying that Marvin's contention that 38,000 is "small" is a little off-base specifically because of the fact that the Marlins only draw 15,000 a game. A stadium that "small" is preferable when your fans hardly ever fill it up. The Marlins have got to get out of Pro Player because it isn't really a baseball park (though I do like watching the outfielders chase balls down in that HUGE outfield) and because of the fact that it's embarrassing to have to see that many empty seats all the time. The main reason why the Marlins don't draw is because just about every day theres a storm or a chance of one. In the retractable roof stadium, Im sure they would draw well. And my contention of it being small is because low seating compacity and dome/retractable roof don't really go together. Safeco holds close to 48,000, Minute Maid Park holds 42,000 and the BOB holds close to 48,000 as well.

Phoenix has some horrible jerseys too. Orange and the PHX on the front. Ugh.
-
Pretty spiffy. Maybe Vince will consider having WrestleMania 24 There in 2008. I still think 38,000 seats for a retractable roof stadium is small, but maybe they are going fora cozy feeling type atmosphere.

We're all gonna die..er..maybe not...

Theres supposedly another one coming tomorrow, but I feel like the parents of the boy who cried wolf. I don't believe NASA/Scientists that much, so now everything will probably blow up.. -
Hmm. The Miami Marlins.. Smell the alliteration! And a 38,000 seat retractable domed stadium? Thats a bit smallish..

Something tells me that Noble will ask Nunzio for the FBI to help him vs Tajiri and his Japanese Gang..
-
So wait a second. Austin "wrestled" Sharon Osbourne and got winded after it? Andy Kaufman > Steve Austin

They didn't take Matt out of the Smackdown intro, but they did add Paul Heyman, for what thats worth.
-
This is what Matt Morgan looks like now.. Eh..horrible edit..anyway, his hairs a bit longer, and he has that type of beard going, about that color or so..
-
Its not that much of a spoiler, honest. And half of it is more of my opinion than anything..

The Promo for Survivor Series: (Words on screen with Vince in Background doing stuff..) Tyrany, Malice, Immortality, Oppression, Abuse, Ego, Maniac, Iniquity, Wicked, Adultery One match will end it all. Taker: The match is buried alive!..
-
As per some Smackdown spoilers..(not really that terrible of a spoiler) Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Undertaker isn't going to be on Smackdown anymore up until the PPV. Im halfway wondering if he isn't getting the gimmick change and showing up as "Deadman" Undertaker at the PPV.
-
After heyman declined to do anything, Vince said he was gonna do like he said he would..and then after Heyman was dead, he was gonna fire him. Of course, Heyman went on a tirade about how the current Vince McMahon is nothing like the old Vince McMahon who took on Ted Turner and Steve Austin and basically gave Vince a pep talk.
-
Ok, the show opens with the Angle/Benoit vs Albert/Cena match. Decent match I suppose. But this is where things got wierd. Backstage segment with Heyman and Vince. Heyman has given Taker off until Survivor Series. Vince is mad. Vince: (To Heyman) ARGH!!! You don't realize what I wanna do, do you?..I mean..ugh..you see this is whats gonna happen. (Laughing) Terrorists are going to burn down Undertaker's house, yeah. His children are gonna be kidnapped! His wife...shes gonna be raped by a motorcycle gang right in front of him. Thats the plan I want to implement damn it, and you're gonna do it, and you're gonna do it in 15 minutes. And if you don't..you see these hands..you see these hands? Im gonna wrap them around your throat and Im gonna drag you out in front of these people, and Im gonna dig my fingers in your flesh and choke the life right out of you. The terrorists, kidnapping and raping is just a tad bit extreme don't you think?

I cant imagine any team taking Manny's 20 million a year/ 100 million contract. Hes good for a .320 avg and 35 hr, but he's gonna cause a ton of problems, and hes just not worth it. No ones gonna help Boston out like that, since if someone picks him up they'll have money to spend on free agents and to resign players as well.

Actually, let me look at making a trade proposal to Raz that might work out a bit better..
-
I managed to re-pick up Brian Griese again after dumping him. I guess theres some good luck again. Anyway, I now have 4 QBS (Plummer, Maddox, Griese and Tui) and although thats great, one of em can go..and Maddox is probably the most expendable of the bunch. If anyone wants Maddox, I'm interested in a trade for a kicker/defense. If your interested in Griese or Tui, I might consider an offer for them as well (for more than a kicker/def though). Im not taking any offers on Plummer because I expect to start him when he comes back from injury.
