Cal's Geoff Macarthur broke his leg against So. Miss and will miss their bowl game. That sucks for him, he played hurt the whole season and still led his team in receiving. Hopefully Cal still goes to the Rose Bowl and beats Michigan.

Reggie Bush is the best player in college. Period. Quite possibly the best player I've ever seen. That said, hes not gonna win the Heisman because hes an underclassman and doesnt have amazing stats. Too bad Cedric Benson has been forgotten, he had a great season. Alex Smith wont win because he plays at Utah. Peterson's stats are the same as J.J. Arrington who gets no love and both are underclassmen. I think the race has come down to Leinart and White. Leinart sucked against UCLA while White was unspectacular against Colorado. So I give the edge to... Matt Leinart. White already winning will make the voters biased against him I think. Leinarts performance against ND may be big enough to overshadow his last game.

Im guessing Leinart locked it up tonight. The game had a pretty big audience and the close first half probably kept people watching long enough to see him blowup. It will be interesting to see what White will do to match it.

I agree that Reggie Bush is the most talented and versatile player in football, but he just doesn't have the total stats in my opinion to win it. Whites numbers are great but not as good as last years, same with Leinart. Arrington, Bush, and Peterson are too young to get enough votes this year. That leaves Smith and Benson. Both are having great years and at least deserve to be invited to NY although I dont think either one would win it. Im guessing whoever has the better game between Leinart and White wins it.

The BCS needs to add a provision that if a conference champion isnt in the BCS top 16(Big East) they shouldnt be allowed to go. There are so many teams that deserve to go ahead of Pitt. Louisville, Miami, Texas, BSU, etc.

Catch me if You Can is also a great film and Dawn of the Dead was just a fun movie. A day without a Mexican had a good concept but poor, make that terrible directon. It couldve been such a better movie.

Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio this morning was talking about the fan that threw the beer. His name is John Green. Hes a real winner: 3 DUI's, arrested for illegally carrying a concealed weapon, assault, fraud, and escaping PRISON! This guy was just looking for trouble and might go back to jail. A stipulation of his probabtion was that he couldn't drink any alcohol and hes been caught on camera at the very least holding a beer. When a local reporter went to his house to speak with him he released his German Shephard on him. The assault charge stemmed from an incident when he was a marine. He was looking for trouble. Hopefully the Auburn Hills police come down hard on this guy because hes a piece of shit. David Stern needs to take in some consideraton that the fans were trying to incite a reaction from Ron Artest. His suspension should be reduced as well as Jermaine's.
