Corey: May I reccomend Ice's Bad Blood and Techno Animal's Brotherhood of the Bomb? Both are Hip Hop/Industrial/Dub/Electronic albums, both featuring Justin Broadrick, and they are great (as well as very creepy). Oh, and both feature some of the underground hip hop's best rappers (El-P, Antipo Consortium, Dalek, Toastie Tayor)

i recently bought My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts. Needless to say, I love it, and have listened to it twice in the past two days.

So far, things are doing alright. -Anyways, yesterday I got the reissues of Chaperhouses Whirlpool and Byrne and Eno's My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. I haven't been able to listen to Whirlpool yet, but I did listen to Ghosts yesterday and today. Simply put, I'm blown away at how awesome it is. It's hard to believe that this was recorded around 79-80, as it sounds very ahead of it's time. Plus, it's catchy (and at times, funky) as hell. I'll have to get Talking Heads Fear of Music after this one, though that won't be until later in the future. Man, I have several CD's I want to purchase right now, including the new ones from The Sounds and Goldfrapp, and some oldies from Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and some others who have escaped my mind right now. -I also finally got to buying the 2-disc special edition of Daio Argento's debut film Bird With The Crystal Plummage today. I'll get to watching it tonight, and I'll let you know how it is. That's it for now. Next time: Bird With the Crystal Plummage, the Chapterhouse album Whirlpool, and the most underrated comedies of all time.

I think most conspiracy theories are bullshit. I will admit that some do work for me.

Here we stand Worlds apart, hearts broken in two, two, two Sleepless nights Losing ground I'm reaching for you, you, you Feelin' that it's gone Can change your mind If we can't go on To survive the tide love divides Someday love will find you Break those chains that bind you One night will remind you How we touched And went our separate ways If he ever hurts you True love won't desert you You know I still love you Though we touched And went our separate ways Troubled times Caught between confusions and pain, pain, pain Distant eyes Promises we made were in vain, vain, vain If you must go, I wish you love You'll never walk alone Take care my love Miss you love (chorus twice) I still love you girl I really love you girl And if he ever hurts you True love won't desert you No, No

That movie is from the 90's.

The punk dying in "Repo Man" and blaming society, only to have the main character tell him everything bad that's led up to this is his fault. That scene pretty much describes a lot of Punk fans, IMO. Return of the Living Dead-"Send More Paramedics" Re-Animator-"Who's Going to Believe a Talking Head? Get a Job at a Sideshow." Day of The Dead-Rhodes is torn apart and devoured by the dead. His dying words: "Choke on 'Em!" The Thing-The whole "Checking who's the creature now" scene. Aliens-Bill Paxton saying "Game over man, game over!" Near Dark-The whole scene at the bar Caddyshack-Any scene with Bill Murray's character. National Lampoons Vacation-Putting the Dead Aunts Body on top of the car. Scarface-Tony diving right into the pile of coke. Oh, and his great death scene. Airplane-Old woman doing coke Top Secret-Skeet Surfing The Naked Gun-The whole scene with Frank and the naked statue.

It would be interesting to do a show, but right now, the answer is unfortunately no, I couldn't do one. I'm still in college (In my junior year, to be exact) and I'm way too busy with homework (among other things) to do a show. When does your school year finish? I only ask because I thought it was standard for things to be done by May. School year ends in June. During the Summer, I'm volunteering as an Intern at a newspaper, so again, it looks like I can't do it. Sorry guys.

Ok, I don't really hate Keisha Cole. I just hate the fact that I have to hear the song "Love" every Goddamn day. For Christ sake, It's not even a good song. Anyways, here's some other stuff I can't believe that I forgot to add this to my worst things on tv right now: MadTV. This show is the second worse thing on TV right now. Have I ever mentioned that I want to see Alex Borstein, Michael McDonald, and Will Sasso slowly tortured in the most excrutiating ways possible for their work on that show? As I promised, here's my guilty pleasures of TV, past and present. Jerry Springer I think that ever since they got rid of the sleezy sounding announcer and put in pool dancers and came up with lame catchphrases ("Jerry Berries" anyone?), it's become less entertaining. Anyways, I will admit though, that back in the day, I loved to watch Jerry Springer. Trash TV at it's best. One of the most underrated moments of the show: A white man proposes to his black girlfriend on national TV-in front of the Klan-and she says yes. Sappy, but for some reason, I thought it was kinda sweet. Kim Possible Yea, there's some lame jokes on the show, but the jokes that hit really hit. Plus, it's had both Brian Posehn and Patton Oswald on it. I'm just mentioning that because I think those two are hilarious. Super Milk Chan Fact: I got a dirty look from an Anime geek yesterday for admitting I like that show. Yes, because God forbid I have guilty pleasures. This show is incredibly stupid, but I still love it. Also, I love the references to Japanese Wrestlers, and the President. Oh, and the fact that it's essentially a satire of modern day Japanese Pop Culture (notice how the main character essentially stands against everything Japanese Society accepts). I've always called the Japanese zombie movie "Stacy" the "Super Milk Chan of Zombie Movies" for the fact that it gets a lot of detractors, but I still love it, and it's more cleaver than it appears. Knightrider Come on, who hates "Knightrider?" I loved this show as a kid, and I still watch it whenever I have the chance to now. Plus, Kit is better than all of you. Teen Titans Well, the first three seasons at least. Season four was disappointing (and overrated) with the exception of Ron Perlman returning as the voice of Slade, and Season five outright sucked, and ended (along with the series) with a weak conclusion. Also, Slade is probably the creepiest villain right now in American Animation. Hamtaro I don't care what anyone says: Little Hamsters going on adventures= greatness.

Just don't run into Kim Possible fans on the internet. The majority of them are really creepy men.

Disappointing episode. The stuff with Al Gore felt boring and heavy handed (I'm starting to think that Matt and Tray are losing what made them such good social satirist) and was annoying to boot. The ending was great, but Cartman was the only good part about this episode. If they actually tried to focus on being funny without being smary and "Oh, look how cleaver our take on satire is" in this episode (you know, an episode like "Awesome-O" or "Fun With Weapons"), then it would have been good, but it all felt a bit squandered. I really wish they'd go back to making episodes that actually focused on being funny without driving whatever point Matt and Trey are trying to make. At least it was better than last weeks episode.

I agree with the last two posters. I'm pretty much done, though at this point, the thread really feels kind of dead. Sorry if my opinion helped cause all of this trouble.

It's probably just me, but the whole "serial" thing is really annoying,

Well, what could make me think you got bent out of shape ober this? Maybe it was this statement... Yeah, you sure didn't overreact there. By the way, your "Go Back to your TV shows and Radio Hits" insult is one of the lamest insults. If there is anyone here who has a fragile ego, it's you. I said some bad things about a band you like, and you start throwing insults at me. Really, I don't care that you like Burzum. That doesn't mean you have to insult me for not liking the band. Come on, I know a few Burzum fans, and I told them about you insulting me over bad mouthing this band. Anyways and even they think that you are overreacting. Get over yourself. I don't like Burzum, I think Varg is scum, and you are not going to change my mind. The more you keep going on, the more insecure you sound. Oh, and by the way, I did research on Varg, and I still think he's scum. Please, quit respending. This is really pointless, and has gotten incredibly boring. Nobody cares about what you have to say anymore. Look at the posts above this one. Everybody has moved on. Nobody cares. What part of this do you not understand? We all want to talk about something else (myself included) so quit trying to defend yourself, and let us enjoy the thread.

That's not the issue at hand though. The issue is celebrating the highest quality music, be it metal, rock, country, rap, pop etc. I have no problem giving an objective ear to anything, but if it's garbage, then it's garbage. It's not a matter of personal taste (I listen to and enjoy much undeniably "lousy" music out of nostalgic enjoyment for example) it's a matter of the actual quality of music. This counts double when people are sharing it with others. As for the other guys, I don't think i can say anything else without just asking you guys to re-read what i've written again and try to see what I'm saying. At this point anything else is just repeating myself. I've read what you've written. Then I re-read it. Then I read it one more time. And yet, you still can't convince me or everyone else otherwise. Dude, just quit complaining, and quit taking the music you listen to so Goddamn seriously. If you keep this up, then there will probably end up being a lock on the thread. Besides, no one cares anymore, and we've moved on to talk about other things, like how Linking Park fans and Emo Kids suck. Sorry, but your rants and attempts to defend your statements still aren't holding up, and it's time for you to quit and let the rest of us go along with our buisiness. Hey Darth Vader, do want Thumbtack to keep going on and on? Yeah, me neither.
