Buzzed on the sides (2 guard), scissor-cut short on top in what old people call a "brush cut" (but it's not a buzz cut). King, have you tried Sierra Nevada's porter? It's similar, but offers a different taste makeup that I happen to like for a changeup. I imagine a black-and-tan with the SN porter and pale ale would also be incredible, but I haven't tried it yet.
