Whoosh, I say. Whoosh.

Well, there was this time a perfectly talented JLer agreed to join the Clan and adopt a character that, despite being something from Marathon that THRILLED the leader of the Clan as well as the JL commissioner at the time, was something he didn't understand at all. Hilarity ensued.

Well, if he was the dentist, and the dentist only took appointments two months out of the year but still somehow managed to get a whole freaking lot of them. -
I dunno. I think Spike's destined to die a 57-year-old virgin, like Zed.

It's all good, Mark. I was breaking the JLers in with 6PM due times, and I had Todd Royal very penitent about getting matches in as late as 8PM. I'll expect my fruit basket Monday morning.

Merry Kingmas and a Many-'Boos' Year. I'd like to take credit, as always, for the Jokers Wild jingle bells song, as well as for leaning on Duran to write this and for suggesting that Matheson take a turkey out of his briefcase. However, after reading that, I just can't. Duran, you took a good idea and ran with it. *applause* -
I could, but I hate old ladies. I like wrestling and I like writing. Writing about wrestling = (Y)

Merry Kingmas, everybody! Still waiting for my gift from my Secret Suicide, though.

Yeah, they charge either a nickel or a quarter, I forget which, for extra sauces at my on-campus BK.

I find that asking for "extra" whatever results in the amount becoming +1.

I was at a beer tasting last night. Unibroue, a Québec microbrew, had a rep here at one of the local liquor stores. They offered four beers- Maudite, La Fin du Monde, Trois Pistoles and Quelque'Chose. The first three were by all accounts good, but fairly unremarkable. Between 8% and 9% abv, they were unanimously attempting to be spicy, but for beers marketed as "strong" and "dark," they weren't very much of either. Quelque'Chose was something different entirely, though. It was a cherry ale, and apparently it's often served room temperature (like all good fruit beers should be) or warm (160F/70Cish) in ski lodges. I picked up a bottle, and it's absolutely incredible. Anyone else tried Quelque'Chose? I'm also interested in their Ephemere, which is a fruit beer brewed with a different fruit each season - apple, peach, apricot and currant. http://www.unibroue.com/english.cfm
