Bobby 'the brain' Hennan and Johnny Polo were my favourites. Hennan I figured would run away with it, so I voted Johnny Polo (other).

You suspect right. Cheers. No surprises there then - although it could be a decent match if it gets 10+ mins, though I can't see that happening as the card is already getting pretty stacked. Most likely the 6 Man tag will be the opener... It'll get the crowd on their feet when Rey/London/Kidman win with some sensational 3 man team thing. I suspect the end will be Kidman launching himself onto D-Von on the outside, Rey hitting the 6-1-9 on Bubba, and London nailing the 450 splash on Spike for the pin. (or switch Billy/London). The match will most likely get 5-10 mins, it should be a hot, short opener. Hopefully they get more time, but as long as it's hot and everyone involved cares.. should be great. Any idea whether it'll be a table match? I doubt it.. but who wouldn't mark out for a 450 Splash from London through one of the Dudleyz through a table?

CHRIS JERICHO Christian, you and me... one on one at Taboo.. And Christian, bring your ass cream for after the match baybee!!

Me either. I do think Orton will win, but its quite possible for Benoit to win (it is in Canada, remind you) and have Orton win at Unforgiven. Although, they seem to want the Orton push NOW! So I dont think they are going to job him to Benoit. And at the second biggest PPV of the year.. I'm not sure if they wanna send the fans home without a declared winner.

CM Funk's Once a Day *IN DEPTH* Match Review

- Mr. T defeated Butch Reed (1:15) in round 4 of a “Boxing” match. * LMFAO.. What were the rounds? 20 seconds each? Lol... I think you messed up your timing.. or rounds there. Cuz 20 seconds rounds is ridiculous lol. Great card tho, although who cares about Hogan winning the title back. Piper is much better champion.

Well at least he was on SD this week lol.. GREAT smackdown this week in my opinion. LONDON and KIDMAN vs THE BASHAM BROTHERS JOHN CENA vs ROB VAN DAM SPIKE/REY vs THE DUDLEY BOYZ CHARLIE HAAS vs KURT ANGLE All matches were very good. Especially the 3 matches before the main event. I enjoyed them all, great work to EVERYONE involved in SD this week.

HAAS vs ANGLE was incredible. IMO, one of the best matches I've seen in a long time. It challenges there match from last year. I wish Haas would get a hella push, and main event SD shortly. I wouldnt mind seeing 45 minute marathons between Guerrero/Haas or Haas/Angle. This match was awesome. Great back and forth action, the story was basic.. but hell its TV. I loved every bit of it, and I was in my seat the whole time. GREAT, absolute GREAT match. ****1/4

That was terrible. Orlando Fucking Jordan?! WHO CARES! Why not use Stamboli.. at least he has a gimmick. Use Funaki.. at least he has charisma. Use Nunzio, at least he has a gimmick, and he's funny. Hell use Yang, at least he can wrestle. Hell Billy Gunn is better than Orlando Jordan! WTF! FRIG, I would rather of brought back Stephanie McMahon. This is utter bullshit! Let's job RENE DUPREE to orlando jordan, the guy we debuted before and no one cared about.. reminds me of jon heidenreich. Heh, guess what people.. looks like those rumours are true of WWE bringing back The Cat:S

Ahh shit sorry guys.. I'm canadian.. I think ours air's 1 hour earlier. Sorry everyone.

I've only seen two matches so far, cuz I was watching on an off. CENA vs RVD was a very good match and I absolutely loved the finish.... RVD is now prime to say in the division, not getting defeated by the f-u and who knows maybe he'll get a SS match against Charlie Haas or something? That wouldnt be all that bad. LONDON and KIDMAN vs THE BASHAMS was a great match IMO. The action was non stop.. would of liked the match to have lasted longer, but the match was intense and AWESOME. Great match IMO, and for a midcard TV match, **** easily. Now if that was on PPV, it would still be a great match, just too short. What was it around 6 minutes? KIDMAN and LONDON have great chemistry together. It really is a shame WGTT split up because given 20 minutes, that could easily have gotten MOTY. Although THE BASHAMS or THE F.B.I. could easily take the place of WGTT and still put on a great match.

Alex Wright vs Ultimo Dragon from Fall Brawl 1997 was a great match which IMO never gets it's dues. One of the best TV Title matches in the HISTORY of WCW, and could even challenge to be one of the best. I'm sure Benoit/Booker and Martel had some matches that MAY of challenged it, but this was an amazing match.. that I would love to see again. A few other matches were very good and are underrated.. One match I really enjoyed but doesnt seem to ever get mentioned is KURT ANGLE vs CHARLIE HAAS from Smackdown of 03. Same goes for Christian vs Jericho from RAW in 03. Two fabolous matches.

- This has been most likely done before, but with the "Success" of the Most Overrated Thread, why not bring this back. Who do you all think is the most underrated Wrestler in the WWE? - To me, its Paul London by a long shot. This kid is great, and can wrestle great technically, and he is one of the most talented wrestlers in the WWE, I think. His mic skills probably need work, but his in ring talent speaks for itself, Kind of like Benoit. - The runner up would definately be Charlie Haas. This guy is great technically, and when I've heard him speak, he's been decent. A GREAT in-ring talent, up there with the likes of Benoit/Guerrero without the experience. But they job him to Luther Reigns, and Casual wrestling fans don't give a crap about him. What's your thoughts people?

I think more or less what he meant by no Mongo, was that on the DVD Extras (hopefully 10+ matches) That we dont have to sit through a Mongo match. I've love to see the old War Games match 2 Flair Matches 2 Tully Matches 1 Anderson Match then 1-2 matches with the 2nd version (w/ Windam) 1-2 matches with the Horsemn w/ Lex then A Benoit/Malenko tag match or something from the horsemen in 1998ish. Anyone else gonna want an Evolution DVD after they break up? There's not much backstory.. but they could have each guy chip their thoughts on how they got into the business and then what they thought of each match. The EXTRAS (matches) would kick total ass.
-
Wow.. I really dislike this guy already.. He's points are absolute shit. if Guerrero got pushed for the Latino Market, then how come you didnt say Jericho got pushed for the Canadian Market.
-
Gimme a break... First of all, London can cut great promos. Watch ROH, his voice is easy on the ears. Seconds of all, Paul London was trained by Michaels.. he has connections. Dunno if he wants it that way.. but he's going to get a fair shot with the company cuz of Shawn. Third, There's lotsa small Champs nowadays. Jericho, Angle, Benoit, Guerrero..
-
Are you retarded?! Explain your damn reasons why London should not be Champ.
-
See.. It's people like you that give us champions like JBL and Taker and So On... Your S/N is CBenoit.. but a blind man could see his talent.. London is amazing, and damn... if your not going to support him.. I'd hate to see the business you ran.
-
I agree with you 100%... Especially about WWE Buying into him. London is one of the best wrestlers today.. He can Brawl, wrestling Technically, High Fly, Tell a good Story.. he's great. But the only way WWE is going to buy into him is if he gets a huge fanbase.. which I hope happens. The Next Big Thing really is Randy Orton. But if WWE was smart.. they would be biling Charlie Haas one of the future greats.. instead of making him job out all the time. Damn them.

nova being turned into a richard simmons wannabe huh. My prediction= funny for a few weeks, dull afterwards. Kind of like Rico.
-
Alex Wright? Oh My God.. I would mark out like Crazy!!
-
With all those matches does anyone else but me see a.. 6 man Tag involving Spike, Bubba, Dvon vs London,Kidman, Mysterio? Spike Heel Turn this week possibly?
-
80) Burying Alex Wright's Push 81) Letting Brian Pillman Leave 82) Turning Disco from a Great Comedy Character with Sucess to a crappy Comedy Character with no sucess.

Ric Flair has stated before about the backstage politics involving Hulk Hogan. He stated numerous times, that Wright was one of the best upcomers wCw had from 1994-1997, before his injury. Why do you think it was WRIGHT who was named the Number One Contender for that sort period of time? Because Flair loves the guy. Hogan held everyone down that every had a chance, in wCw and WWF. He wasn't even over as much as he used to be and he was still holding everyone down. And then you say why was it Hogan's fault? Dude.. Hogan had control over pretty much everything.. He wanted Wright held down and KABAM! he was held down. As for Roma mocking him.. Wrestlers also get pops for doing other wrestlers trademarks. Roma was an ass, and deserved to be shot on the spot. Wright was extremley over... the only match I can think of that he got booed, during his first push as a face, was against Brian Pillman, and it was in Pillman's hometown, who was also a babyface.

So this whole tournament was actual boxing? They really said to go out there, and whoever wins wins? Meaning they thought Steve Williams was going to beat the hell outta Gunn, but it happened the other way around? Ahh... im so confused.
