    what to do with ashley

Okay until you know what your talking about.. zipper. Avril Wannabe? ... HELLO! I'm from Napanee.. she lives a whole whopping 5 minutes from me.. and she is SO FAR from punk, it's not even funny.. well at least she was until they told her she wasn't pretty enough to sing COUNTRY MUSIC! Then she went to punk. She was the biggest prep you knew, until she couldnt make it that way. However, I do agree, Leyla was sexier.. but Ashley is fine is about 400 and 9 times hotter than Lita, so as long as she cuts into Lita's screen time, im good to go.

    Rumored Bret Hart DVD Matches

Great listing.. Although I wish we could have Hart Foundation v. Brainbusters instead of v. Road Warriors. And his 1993 CLASSIC v. Mr. Perfect as well. I liked it better than 1991. Owen & Bret v. The Mounties??? From Royal Rumble 1994 should be there as well.
  4. I just got home from a RAW House show and just thought I'd pass on the results.. *Chris Cage & Mike 'the miz' Mizanan d. The Islanders of Rory & Robbie MacAllister via pinfall. *Rob Conway d. Viscera via pinfall with feet on the ropes. (Maria was the special guest ring announcer) *Chris Masters d. Rene Dupree via The Masterlock. Masters was over HUGEEEEEEEEEE as a face. *Carlito Carribbean Cool d. Shelton Benjamin via pinfall. *Clean, Powerbomb from the second rope. *The Hurricane & Rosey d. Trevor Rhodes & Lance Cade via pinfall. After the match, The Cowboys beat down Hurricane and Rosey. INTERMISSION *Chris Jericho's highlight reel. Special Guest - Trish Stratus. *Chris Jericho d. Gene Snitsky via submission. *Kurt Angle d. Eugene via submission. *The Big Show d. Edge via pinfall. Biggest Pops 5) The Hurricane 4) Carlito Caribbean Cool 3) Eugene 2) Chris Jericho 1) Chris Masters (no shit, everything he did the crowd went bonkers over). Most Heat 5) Rob Conway 4) Snitsky 3) Trevor Rhodes & Lance Cade 2) Edge 1) Kurt Angle Pretty good show, although kind of short. Only about 2:15, probably 2:00 with the intermission. (hours). Fun time though. Big Show is HUGEEEEEE in person. And why was Masters so over as a face..

No she played heel, she was in Gene Snitsky's corner.

I just watched Royal Rumble 1992

What I think should happen is we should move back to a TYPE of Squash matches. Let's not have complete squashes, but let's have some squashes that a bit more competive. Say.. Luther Reigns v. Charlie Haas from PPV last year. A match like that.. would be beneficial to the viewing audience who wants to see a good match. Give a few Jobbers wins here and there, just to keep the window open that Jobbers can sometimes win. It'll also give you the option to have a few jobbers over like hell.. Example, Dunn & Marcos of Ring of Honor. The Rockers of the old WWF (pretty much were jobbers, who won a few matches). Matches would be semi-competive, and make the jobbers even look somewhat good. This way the Jobbers can take experience and turn into something huge.. Example, Jimmy Rave of Ring of Honor. Ring of Honor is almost the perfect way wrestling should be towards stars. If ROH had a Rumble, you'd NEVER have a clue who the heck would win. Jimmy Rave, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Roderick Strong, Alex Shelley, James Gibson, Spanky, Jay Lethal, Low-Ki, Colt Cabana, CM Punk (well a few days ago), Nigel McGuiness... the list is endless. ROH treats everyone like stars, besides a few jobbers, ala Dunn & Marcos, who sometimes will pull out the win. I think they're going perfectly right now, and wrestling should be more like ROH.

Oh a few more notes. The funniest thing was probably after the show when Someone and Eugene were driving away. Eugene was in the passenger seat, and Chris Masters jumped onto his window and started to poke at Eugene. GREAT stuff. Masters was AWESOME. I'm really starting the like the guy now:). As much as we as fans HATE the Diva Search, I have to say Maira is probably the coolest person I've ever met. She stayed for probably, an hour, signing autographs after the show. She wanted to leave, Everyone was bugging her too, but she'd look back at the fans and keep signing away... it was amazing. She was definately one of the coolest people I've ever met. Chris Cage was also cool about signing autographs after the show, funny stuff when Miz kept yelling at Cage to leave, but he kept signing away lol. Eugene *apparently* was a class act before the show... Signing Autographs. Didn't see him sign autographs though

Chris Cage & Mike 'the miz' Mizanan d. The Islanders of Rory & Robbie MacAllister via pinfall. Decent.. nothing offensive. Cage is very good. *Rob Conway d. Viscera via pinfall with feet on the ropes. (Maria was the special guest ring announcer) Not very good.. but not as bad as most Viscera matches. Same match partically as RAW, except with more crisp execution. *Chris Masters d. Rene Dupree via The Masterlock. Masters was over HUGEEEEEEEEEE as a face. This was good. And I don't mean OMFG best match ever!! but this was pure fun.. and good for the two involved. Way better than I thought it would be. *Carlito Carribbean Cool d. Shelton Benjamin via pinfall. *Clean, Powerbomb from the second rope. Probably the best match I've seen out of these two. I really liked the Clean finish. *The Hurricane & Rosey d. Trevor Rhodes & Lance Cade via pinfall. After the match, The Cowboys beat down Hurricane and Rosey. Good when Hurricane and Cade were in the ring. Not so great when Rhodes was. INTERMISSION *Chris Jericho's highlight reel. Special Guest - Trish Stratus. Fun stuff, good to see Trish back. *Chris Jericho d. Gene Snitsky via submission. Yikes. Better than expected, but anything Snitsky does remotely well is better than exepcted. Jericho worked hard to make him look good *Kurt Angle d. Eugene via submission. Awesome match, a little short though *The Big Show d. Edge via pinfall. Yeh, this was bad. Lol. Not a great show, but not a bad show. And being there, on the floor, on the entrance way, is awesome no matter usually how bad a show is.

You mean the "Highlanders"? Otherwise, someone in that company needs a lesson in Scottish culture. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I know they're the Highlanders, I seen an Neo-Spirit show with Robbie on it.. but they called them the "Islanders".. yeah I was confused too.

    The Future of MNM

MNM totally rules.. and I love their one liners.. They play it so well. As for Jillian? The gimmick is crap, but she's great in the ring.. and not to mention hot as hell.

    Kurt Lauderdale

Here's some more stuff I managed to scoop up on the situation.. Fuck this is bad.. Yikes... that's about all I can say. If the body hasn't been indentified, I can only hope for the best for Shanna. I also hope for the best Shanna's family. And I also hope for the best for Kurt.. I really hope he didnt do it. This is not only bad for IWS... its bad for wrestling in general. And the worst part, Shanna from various reports, seemed like a very nice girl. That could be what really is winning the case. Shanna is reported as being a very nice girl, and from that quote, it seems as if she was probably avoiding sexual intercourse, which Kurt seemed to want. Either way, I'm going to try and not keep an opinion and hope for the best for Shanna and her family. And wrestling in general.

    Banks New Column

I think the 3 pack will cost around $30-40 at Wal Mart to start off. And when they start releasing Single DVDs, they'll be around $15-20. I don't see them being released for much more when WWE, a extremely more popular and known fed, releases their PPVs for about $15.

Update on Hassan (Insider Spoilers, Info)

Do you think WWE cares if we remember people Matt Morgan came back... 6 months latter and somehow devolped a stutter and not to mention... even though he was on PAY PER VIEW 6 MONTHS PRIOR.. never had a match in the WWE Anymore.. WWE could care less about their own history.

Does anyone know any really Cocky sounding songs, where the song pretty much would "Hype Yourself" to make you sound sound arrogant or something if you were a wrestler... Pop or Rock would be preferred, thanks!

    No Surrender

*I really think this has the potential to best the Best PPV of the year. Honestly. *Every match sounds GREAT and even in the 3 Live Kru v. Outlaw & Monty it's a NO DQ match, which should make it into an okay brawl. While that will probably be the worst match on the show, it should still be no less than ** if they dont screw up and easy gimmick match. 3 Live Kru v. Outlaw & Monty Winners: Outlaw and Monty Star Rating: ** Raven v. Abyss should be a VERY FUN brawl, and blow the shit out of the NO DQ match that the other four pump out. Raven v. Abyss Winners: Raven Star Rating: ***1/2 Williams and Daniels should be a very fun X-Division match up. I expect this one to have some ground work, with the higher impact moves coming alot later. We already have a spotfest on the card. This will be great though. Petey Williams v. Christopher Daniels Winners: Christopher Daniels Star Rating: **** *with time* The 4-Way X-Division Cup Qualifer should be good as a spotfest. I don't expect this to get an overly huge amount of time though. Great to see Mikey Batts get his first actual match on PPV (besides the Battle Royal) Shark Boy v. Elix Skipper v. Sonjay Dutt v. Mikey Batts Winners: Elix Skipper Star Rating: **1/2 *higher with time* Joe/Sabin should be buckets of fun. Joe is GREAT and Sabin is pretty flipping great himself. This should be a good match, and has build. Give it some time and your looking at a very good match. Chris Sabin v. Samoa Joe Winners: Samoa Joe Star Rating: ***3/4 The 6 man will be good and fun, but short. Don't expect a long match out of this one. Team Canada will probably pick up the win to continue the feud with the Naturals and have Hoty go on and feud with either Roode some more, or A-1. The Naturals & Lance Hoyt v. Team Canada of A-1, Bobby Roode & Eric Young Winners: Team Canada Star Rating: **3/4 Styles and Waltman would be a good match without Lynn reffing. I don't know how great of a ref Lynn will be, but its great to see him back and going to be building up for a feud with one of these two. Styles will OWN this PPV once again. AJ Styles v. Sean Waltman w/ Special Ref Jerry Lynn Winners: AJ Styles Star Rating: ***1/2 Alex Shelley OWNS YOU! This tag team match will be a GREAT match IMO. AMW is a very good team and Shelley as well as Shane are both great. Michael Shane & Alex Shelley v. America's Most Wanted Winners: America's Most Wanted Star Rating: ***3/4

Have just watched the No Surrender promos

Petey was supposed to be a Heel, but he's one of the most over X-Division guys on the Roster. With his Finisher to boot, he's DEFINATELY a face among the fans, regardless of the booking before hand.

    Smackdown Spoilers

Looks as if Eddy v. Rey will be added to the main card, and Mexicools v. London and 2 other guys will be added to HEAT.

    Finally! Kurt Angle DVD announced...

I agree with these, except the CUTS! I made, because Angle/Benoit has been available on WAYYY too many DVDS to count and the two have had so many excellent matches, this won't hurt it too much. The Rikishi match sucked, and can be highlighted in the main program. It was short too. But throw on a few more... * Kurt Angle v. Shawn Stasiak - Survivor Series 1999 This is his first ever pay per view, and I believe his first match in the E. Not exactly a classic, but nothing terribly wrong with it. * Kurt Angle v. Chris Jericho - No Way Out 2000 I believe this was Angle's first title win on Pay-Per-View. I'm not sure if he won the European title after or before this, but either way I think this is important. Pretty damn good match for the time given as well. * Kurt Angle v. Chris Benoit - Wrestlemania 17 This match was AWESOME. Probably 1/4* at most, lower than Royal Rumble 2003. At most, and some may even like this better. And it needs to be on here, instead of the Royal Rumble 2003 match which is already on 3 or 4 DVDs. * Kurt Angle v. Chris Benoit - Unforgiven 2002 You know the drill. Just as good as the other matches, and not pakced on 10,000 DVDS. * Kurt Angle v. Marty Jannetty - Smackdown 2003 I REALLY liked this match. And honestly, I liked it better than 1 of the HBK/Angle matches. However all three were very good, and shows just what Angle still has. * Kurt Angle v. Shawn Michaels - Vengenace 2004 Good match. Nothing wrong here at all. You get both HBK matches, with two different styles. Everyone will be happy. * Kurt Angle v. Shane McMahon - King of the Ring 2001 Fun match that definately isn't the normal style for Angle. Shane takes the beating of his life, and the match is definately good and entertaining. This is a definate must. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Personally, I think that saying Angle/Rikishi should be gotten rid of to make room for Angle/Stasiak kind of undermines your argument. Both matches are poor, and can only serve as historical curiosities. Who really *needs* to see the matches on a Kurt Angle DVD in their complete form (particularly when they eat up valuable DVD time that could be used for better matches)? Angle/Edge from Judgment Day 2002 has *at least* as much historical value for Kurt's career as Angle/Stasiak, and I doubt anyone is clamouring for *that* to be included. Anyway, I agree with Brian that they need to include some of Angle's rare TV matches (along with the obvious, but easily accessible PPV matches) to entice the buyer. Angle vs Undertaker from SD 2003, for one. Tack on a few of those to Y2Jerk's list and then that would be a DVD I'd buy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Rikishi match, was REALLY bad. It was really poor, and very short (about 5 minutes). It could be highlighted during the program, showing him win King of the Ring, and him talking about the history of that. The Full match, really isn't needed. As seriously, it wasn't EXTREMELY important. I was under the impression, the Stasiak match was his first WWF(E) match. I love having wrestlers Debuts. Flair's WWF Debut wasn't very good, but its fun to watch a couple of times just to see how he progressed and where he's at now. Also, to me, the Stasiak match wasn't that bad. From memory, I believe I had the match at around **1/4. Not great, but definately not bad like the Rikishi match (which I had at like 1/2* maybe). It was also a bit longer as well. I do agree with the TV Matches, which is why I wanted the Charlie Haas Smackdown match. I thought it was AWESOME. The Smackdown! match against Taker, a TV match against Austin from 2001 I believe, as well as maybe a Team Angle match (Angle, Haas, Benjamin vs. someone).. and possibly to round out an even 20 go with a team ECK match (Angle, Christian, Edge vs. someone). Oh and now that I think about it, the Edge match is rather important. But I'd save that for an Edge DVD, as they could highlight that part of his career in the program as well. About becoming bald. That's 20 matches (which would be an amazing set, ahead of the 15 matches on the Benoit DVD, and 19 on the Road Warriors DVD) OH!!! - As far as promos/segments go, here's what I think would be needed (From Memory) ** First promo in the company. ** A couple of promos during his intital heel run, talking about how great he is and how he was undefeated. ** Some TEAM ECK Promos. (The promo with Christian singing "Your Bald! Your Bald! Your Bald!" is a definate classic, and HAS to be included). ** One of two of his funny ass promos from the Invasion (Jimmy Cracked Corn anyone??) A few other promos would be aweosme as well, but the Christian promo HAS to be on this.

    The Bob Holly Wrestling Academy

Getting pops on Heat or Velocity when you're one of the first name guys out doesn't mean jack. Hell, I heard Vis and Mideon get a massive pop when they were the Ministry of Comic Book Sales and they were *HEELS* during a Heat taping. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Holly wasn't at the house show I was at last year, but Billy Gunn was. And no, it wasn't the first match, I think it was the final match before intermission, so about the 6th match. And the crowd LOVED HIM more than Cena and Angle who appeared first. So, the name pop, wasn't true for that. The crowd swamped the ring for Billy Gunn.. people were jumping from the crowd seats *not the floor seats) to get onto the floor and touch Billy Gunn's hand. That's how over he was.
