As do I. I don't really think it's a stupid gimmick, if they book them right, it could work out. I like them going to RAW, because they need to spice up the tag team divison more so in RAW then SD! I think. They just recently added Turkay/Burke and James/Stevens, and overall got a pretty good tag divison.

Well I just started my 1st day of school today at college, I'm studing journalism. It was pretty weird going into it and I felt nervous, but I saw alot of my friends from High School there, and alot of fine looking woman. Should be fun considering me and my girlfriend are on a break right now, so it will be nice to test out the water. It sucks that I have to take the bus to school because I don't want to pay for a parking pass. Anyone want to give me advice?

Alright it seems that this new tag team is causing controversy, I think this deverses it's own thread. As mullato(half black half white) man, I really don't find this offensive as most people are. I think this gimmick could work well, if used right, and could attract people from the Hip Hop crowd. It's not like they are saying all African-American's are thugs and gangstas, I mean they have blacks acting like thugs on other TV shows, what makes this difference? I mean there are other African-American wrestlers on RAW and SD! and they aren't going around acting like thugs. They have Booker T with his whole King gimmick, they have Shelton Benjamin as a star athlete, they have Lashley as the intense powerhouse who is himself doesn't have no real gimmick, and they have Elijah Burke who is pretty much himself also with no real gimmick, and so on and so forth. If they had every black male on the roster go up to each talking in slang, and acting like gangstas then yes I'd understand. I see this no different then New Jack, Ron Killings as the Truth, Slick and other past gimmicks. I mean they had the whole gangsta/thug gimmick a few years ago with John Cena, but the difference between him and Cryme Time is that Cena is white, so does that make it any better? The WWE is not trying to say all black people act this way, they are merely having 2 black wrestlers out of the whole African American roster act like gangstas. And if used right, they could be very succesful for the WWE and bring in the Hip Hop crowd into the WWE, more so then John Cena because alot of people viewed him a poser(not me though) and a Vanilla Ice. Drop your opinions.

On Griffin: I think Forrest is an exciting fighter. I don't think he's ready for a title shot yet. He had trouble with Stephan tonight. (Liddell jumps in at this point: "Give him some time. He's not ready now, trust me") On Cheick Kongo, the most promising heavyweight in the UFC in quite some time: I don't think he's ready for Tim Sylvia yet, but he's definitely a promising candidate. It was impressive how he got out of that armbar tonight (in his win over Christian Wellisch). It looked like he was going to get caught, but he stepped over and got out of it. He has a lot of potential and I like him a lot. On Georges St. Pierre-Matt Hughes and Hughes-B.J. Penn: It's unfortunate. Georges St. Pierre has wanted this fight so bad for so long. We're really fortunate that when a main event of that caliber falls out we're able to replace it with one that's just as big an event. This is the type of guy Matt Hughes is. B.J. Penn is the only guy whose beaten him since he's been the champion. Three weeks before the fight, the fight falls out, I call him and say "what do you want to do." Believe me when I tell you a lot of guys in the fight business wouldn't have taken the fight. Matt doesn't care. Matt says "No problem, I'll fight B.J." He has a groin injury which probably will be healed in two weeks, but it's not worth risking for such a big fight On Diego Sanchez's standing in the welterweight division: Diego is in there. Diego is definitely in the mix. That Karo Parisyan-Diego Sanchez fight was one of the best fights I've ever seen. He keeps proving he's for real. He's in the mix. On Renato Sobral: We tried hard to let everyone know who Babalu was and how good he really is. People who really know the sport know who Babalu is and how good he is, but Chuck just destroyed him. On Michael Bisping: He's hurt right now. He got hurt, or he would have been on the Ken-Tito fight (in October). A lot of the guys from season three will be on that show. On Ortiz-Shamrock III: No one's more tired of the Ken and Tito drama than I am. A lot of people invested 13 weeks into the TV show, it was a great season, and I felt like people didn't get a payoff at the end. I was a boxing fan for many years and you'd wait for the big fight on Saturday night pay your $44.95, and the fight sucked, and you were let down. After that fight, that's the first time, I've never, in the six years we've owned the company, that's the first time that's ever happened where people were so angry they were throwing things. I'd go out to the supermarket and people would tell me it was horrible and the show sucked and they felt like they got robbed. I don't ever want our fans to feel that way after a show. Being a boxer myself, there is such thing as having a great chin and having a weak chin. My trainer always taught me if you want to make your chin stronger, to put a whole pack of gum in your mouth and chew it. Jack Dempsey use to chew pine gum straight from trees to strengthen his chin, and he would bath himself in beef brine to toughen his skin so he wouldn't bleed. Check out George Chuvalo... Foreman, Ali, Frazier all of them landed clean flush shots on Chuvalo's chin but never once knocked him down.

Carlito is main event material. He has charisma, is an interesting character, and can draw a crowd reaction, unlike most wrestlers for the WWE today. Shame on the WWE.

Just because a guy can average 30 points a game doesn't warrant him a roster spot. We tried having all guys that can put up 30 points a night in Athens and that didn't work. The whole idea behind this Team USA was creating a team that had good chemistry together unlike the Athens team. If it came down to just throwing the best players in the NBA on Team USA then Iverson would have been an automatic choice. If Arenas wants to make the olympic team, than he needs to find a way to bring his game to an even higher level. I'm sure Colangelo and Coach K. think highly of him pissing and moaning to the media. I'm a USC fan, so I like both, but really who knows who will end up better. Let's see Leinart play a full season to make that judgment.

Interesting choices, here is mine... Offense: Reggie Bush, his overall game is going to impress alot of people at the pro level. He's going to make an immediate explosion. Defense: Broderick Bunkley, he's been really impressing me this pre-season, he's fills our need for another Cory Simon. He's going to kill O-Line men this year.
