How could Meet Dave with such great promotion like this: Oh well. Next week one of the most anticipated films of the year is coming out. You and I know which movie I'm talking about....thats right.... Mamma Mia

Anybody know what was supposed to happen with that if Regal didn't fuck up? Having a major feud with Kennedy seemed like the idea at the time.

"He's going to need something alot bigger to get through this." *cuts to Joker grabbing a bazooka* Speaking to soon?

While I'll give it to you on that The Batman cant touch anything in the DCAU (maybe Static Shock), I will say that Season four is a good buy. There is only one episode in that season that I don’t care for (“The Everywhere Man”) and it also features the introduction of Robin ("A Matter of Family"), Harley Quinn ("Two of a Kind"), and Black Mask. Not to mention an episode that is heavily influenced by The Dark Knight Returns that features Nightwing and Oracle ("Artifacts"), Penguin forming a Injustice Gang ("Team Penguin"), and a two-part season finale with a team up with the Martian Manhunter ("The Joining"). Very good season from top to bottom.

For some reason when Joker points his gun at someone in that clip I kept thinking to myself "Who the hell does that remind me of?" Then I remembered, it reminds of Sting (crow 96-98 period) pointing his bat at the nWo.

Joker must be a Repulican. That "LOL! You serious?" look he gives Leahy at 1:19 makes me smile.

Ever since the Vulture rumors surfaced after Spidey 2 Ive always wondered how the hell they could him off. I mean...hes lame as hell.

Its not about money...it's about sending a message!

John Cena was really quick to the scene to make sure that no one suspected him. I really dug that only the top three guys in the company tried to save Vince. Well the rest of the boys had to get back to the shower after a long, fought battle royal and couldnt fuck with the on-going problem.

The ghost of Chris Benoit strikes!

Joker's theme sounds like a tornado siren. The whole score sounds alot more twisted than the BB score. Evil things will be happening in this film and I love it. Less than a month to go.
-
30 days to go!!!!

Ferrigno also provided the voice of Hulk. But, my friend, how can you hate Tony Stark?
-
Funny you should mention that considering Johnny Depp turned 45 today.

Iron Man still going strong... Good

Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
CBright7831 replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
As I said awhile back, it's sad that Denholm Elliot is no longer around. Marcus Brody was one of the highlights of Last Crusade: Elsa: It's perfectly obvious where the pages are. He's given them to Marcus Brody. Professor Henry Jones: Marcus? You didn't drag poor Marcus along did you? He's not up to the challenge. Walter Donovan: He sticks out like a sore thumb. We'll find him. Indiana Jones: The hell you will. He's got a two day head start on you, which is more than he needs. Brody's got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan, he speaks a dozen languages, knows every local custom, he'll blend in, disappear, you'll never see him again. With any luck, he's got the grail already. [Cut to middle of fair in the Middle East, Marcus Brody wearing bright suit and white hat, sticking out like sore thumb] Marcus Brody: Uhhh, does anyone here speak English? [man offers Brody some water] Marcus Brody: No thank you, fish make love in it. -

I would classify that as The Dark Knight, but to each their own. Again, I felt the generational gap was too big for the movie to have such a stellar opening weekend. I was obviously wrong The sad thing about The Dark Knight is a lot of moms with kids 13 years and younger will not take them to see TDK because its "too scary/dark/PG-13/etc." I'm not judging ANY family's decision on what to take the kids to see, but the first two movies I ever saw in movie theaters were Batman and The Last Crusade - both PG-13 films. *Yet these families will take them to see KOTCS - a PG-13 film **I should also note that the third movie I ever saw in theaters was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - which was rather dark (compared to the others) but was still PG. I'm seeing this movie tonight. -
I cant do it...FUCK IT!

"He does that." Nice reference to The Long Halloween:

Freshman year: First Semester: Meh Second Semester: Meh/Dont remember Sophomore year: First Semester: Did okay Second Semester: Did great Junior year: First Semester: Did great Second Semester: Struggled Senior year: First Semester: Did good Second Semester: Did good I think the two highlights of my HS career were from my senior year (last semester in 2004) when I won prom king and recieved a nice award for perfect attendance K-12. About 1/3 of my graduating class has kids and/or married now. I missed it for awhile (as seen in this thread from 2005) but now I've got new friends and while I havent graduated college yet and still have ways to go thnks to my break I took after high school, I can honestly say that I'm happy where I am at at the current moment.
