Because we hit him just SO DAMN well on Sunday!
That was away.
Big difference.
My biggest problem tomorrow is our pitching.
I say start Vazquez, and bring Moose in relief.
So be it. This current plan clearly isn't working.
How in the hell are Pedro and Posada going to work as a unit?!?
I don't give a fuck. You sit them both down and tell them to get the fuck over whatever is bothering them NOW.
What the hell is your point? By any means necessary. That's what got Fat Rodge here.
Atleast Rodge can pitch good over 100 pitches.
Another advantage we have.
Foulke, theres no way possible, is pitching more than one inning.
AND HES GOT TO FUCKING GET TIRED EVENTUALLY.
And didn't Tito say Wake was pitching on fumes in game 5?
God.
If we get Pedro, its going to be the Bronz Zoo all over again.
And if we do get them, our rotation is Johnson, Pedro, Moose, Brown (please retire), Javy or Lieber.
I would.
He still pitched well tonight, the Yankees couldn't hit anything. Hes been a solid starter the second half of the season, and hes reliable. Without knowing who the Yankees are getting in the off season, I think its a must.
You're even going to bother watching this horseshit?
I don't want to, but I have no self control.
EDIT: Good thing I only have two classes tomorrow, I'll be thinking about tonight ALL DAY.
This game reminded me of when we used to play the As when they were mad good in 2000. It was during the regular season, and we were playing in Oakland. I don't remember who it was, but this reliever they had did the same thing Foulke did. Outside corner EVERY pitch.
And coincidentally, we didn't hit him either.
I'm not afraid of Wake tomorrow. I have confidence with us hitting him for some reason.
The reason I have a feeling we'll lose is because, ya know, KEVIN FUCKING BROWN is pitching.
I'd rather start Vazquez tomorrow, honestly.
JUDGMENT.
Jeter was at second base.
No because by your "Judgement" Jeter scored before they ever said, "dead ball" The fact is, A-rod Swatted the ball and the ball was declared dead. Just like a foul ball is a dead ball and even if the runner gets to second before the ball falls into the stands, HE STILL GOES BACK TO 1st.
I didn't say he scored before he hit the ball.
But I'm pretty damn sure Jeter was at 2nd BEFORE A-Rod hit the ball away.
