I'm not sure what to think about the Ozolinsh deal. Hes 34 and injury prone and costs 2.75 million and is suspect defensivley, but hes an offensive presence at the bluline the Rangers desperately need. And when all said and done, this trade was basically Nemo for Ozolinsh. And Sather announced today Staal might join the team if his Junior team is out of the playoffs.

I've got no problem with them losing. i saw some stat the other day they've only lost five games this year (not including OT losses) by more than one goal. The effort tonight just reminded me of the last seven years when Messier, Holik, Bure, ect .. wouldn't show up for every period of every game.

I just looked it up and including the playoffs, Henrik played about 60 games the last two years in the Swedish Elite Leagues, where he was absolutley amazing in both playoffs. Hes played 40 games this year, plus the 5 or so in the Olympics, around 45. So theres about 23 games left, 22 because Weekes is starting tonight. I'd say Weekes is going to get 5 or so of those last 20 + games, so he'll be around sixty by the start of the playoffs. I honestly do't see him getting worn out.

Hes just crazy. Its like every game now hes scoring two goals and three assists. I'm so sold on this Ranger team as cup contenders. Its different now speed skills in the NHL and they are just running around the Flyers in circles. The power play is on fire and so is the penalty kill and they don't even have Prucha in the lineup!! I love this team.
