I'm taking Intro to Broadcasting, which is bascially the same exact class as Mass Media in Society. I don't know why they have two classes just alike, it makes little sense. I wish they had "Movie Directing" or something simular to it. You're really not gonna find anything quite that specific unless you're at a film school. Or someplace really, really big. We've got a couple Cinematography courses, and certainly theater direction, but that's it. My school is a big science school, so it doesn't have very many communication classes. Hell, they are only offering 5 Comm classes next semester, so that is very annoying. Some people have told me that film school doesn't really teach you the stuff you'll need in "movie business." It is better to just figure stuff out on your own or read a book about it.

I only watch the Cowboys when I am forced too. When they were in the NFC Championship games, I watched because I wanted to watch football. The Cowboys aren't "America's Team" it is just a marketing tool. I love how no team in the NFL is dominate right now. You could watch any game, and it could turn out to be a great one. Who would have thought that the Panthers would be going to the Super Bowl? How is the NFL in a bad era right now? Last week, all 4 playoff games were close games that were fun to watch. One thing about the NFL is that the league doesn't sell itself on one player being the man, but teams themself. The NBA needs a star players to keep the league going, and the NHL just plain old sucks. Baseball looked like it was going to be saved with the potential Cubs/Sox World Series, but that went down the drain.

Wow RRR, it seems you have watched FireFly about 10 times already. I haven't even finished the series yet, I still have the last three episodes. I do like the series, but I don't like it as much as Angel or Buffy. I just didn't get into, maybe it is because I am not a big fan of the whole western genre. At first, the little ching of the guitar with the western sound was pretty annoying, but I got used to it over time.

Before I started talking to one of my best friends, he said I had the "look" of a tool and I looked like a "stupid white boy." Then he started talking to me, and found my craziness really funny.
