I miss that guy...his stupidity was magnificent. now we just have luke-o.

Transformers kicked ass...Michael Bay's best film...there were some Bay-ish moments, but nowhere near as bad as his usual crap. There was a bit of product placement as well that annoyed me, but it didn't matter in the end. Shia was great. Megan Fox is a worthless actress...but really, who cares? girl is all sorts of gorgeous. John Turturro steals the show so far as human actors. Peter Cullen sounded a tad aged, but he still had that old familiar sound. I was actually surprised by the amount of dialog the TFs got...however, there was not enough Starscream. Other than Megatron trashing him once, we didn't get the sneaky, backstabbing Starscream we all know and love. can't wait for the sequel...that is all.

this won't last long...by next year we'll see fully intact shows, watch...once the story finally goes away, his matches will be back. -

if you don't already have Rumble 03, Rumble 04, WM 20 and Summerslam 04 on DVD on tape somewhere, you might as well forget ever seeing those DVDs again (the exception being Rumble 03 probably) unless you go through means such as Ebay, tape trading, etc. Don't expect them to be on 24/7. -
you know...I'm not a huge Benoit fan or anything, but I really REALLY hate edited videos...I don't know why, but it REALLY bugs me when they do that. This is really shitty considering Benoit was in almost every major show since 1995. Regardless of what he did in the "real world", we wrestling fans shouldn't have to suffer and lose his WRESTLING legacy.

Mr. crappy pants....lmao...'nuff said. when he fired off MR. CAMEL TOE first, I instictively began searching for eggs, tomatoes and lettuce to toss at the TV.
-
please...you could literally hear the groans as Cena fired off lame joke after lame joke. Kennedy's truee burial wasn't until his beat the clock match. That Cena promo was shit.
-
you call that Cena promo a KENNEDY burial? That one ranks right up there with the time he stood under the Titantron while HBK, Angle and whoever else it was were all in the ring and he managed to fire off individual lame gay jokes for each of them. That promo was about 100 steps back after he had done so well the last year and a half taking 5 steps forward.

time for kids!!! -
I'm going tomorrow, probably a 2 or 3:00 showing...can't wait!
-
Top Cat is great...the perfect Around the Horn would be Kevin Blackinston/Michael Smith (slight edge to Blackinstone), JA Adande, Tim Cowlishaw and Woody Paige.
-
I can get used to JA Adande doing PTI and Michael Smith doing Rome Is Burning. but LeBetard still needs to die.
-
same... must just be a Canadian thing?

while I was down in Maryland, we went to an area called Solomons Island which is pretty much a strip of about 6 or 7 bar & grills. On EACH location, there are several signs telling people that they WILL get carded REGARDLESS of their appearance. While having lunch at one establishment, this guy, probably in his 40s, threw the biggest hissy-fit I've ever seen a grown man throw (in person, anyway) over having to be carded. He threw out the usual "don't I look old enough" schtick and of course, the people working their held firm and would not serve him...good for them, I say. So of course, he packs his whole family up (wife, 3 kids and another couple with 2 kids) and declares he's going elsewhere. I wish I could have been in the next establishment in the area just to see them tell him the exact same thing. Also, about 5 years ago, I was standing in line at a grocery store behind a biker guy that threatened to beat a kid down if he didn't sell him the alcohol...he did have ID, but he was very miffed about having to show it. a note to older America: it takes 2 seconds to show ID...just shut up and do it. Don't yell at the people making you do it, they're just doing their jobs. I always have it out and ready, even if they don't ask to see it, I have it out just in case. Hell, I consider it flattering if those young whipper snappers think I'm not old enough! -

you'd have a million dumb fucks saying you should be banned... surely that terrifies you... -
we've already discussed that Bratz movie...my daughter is going to have to talk her grandma into going to that one!

"See, I'm not racist, I have 1 black friend!"

that could just be an earlier design suit as well. I thought I read somewhere that he goes through 3 suits through the course of this movie, including the big ugly suit that he started in in the comics. Maybe I'm just stoned. anyway, I have no issues with it at all.

Well, The Marine is certainly a throwback to those days...
-
so far I've only seen Spider-Man 3...I'll probably catch both FF2 and Die Hard 4 these next two weeks with TF on the 4th. I doubt I'll see anything else the rest of the year...I just don't go to theaters very often. If it's something I know I'll like or if it gets enough positive reviews, I'll just scoop it up on DVD.

hey, if he can get Anthony Anderson's fat ass to play ball, you have nothing to fear!
