The announcers did a great job of putting Valentine over as well...I always liked how Gorilla would say something like "it takes him 10 minutes just to get warmed up", meaning you can beat on him for 10 minutes and really, you haven't done jack shit to him. He was always put over as a guy you're going to have to work on really hard to beat.

I like her character that tries to one-up everyone else. I know someone that does the exact same schtick and even sounds like her...granted she doesn't exaggerate as bad, but you know what I mean.

I remember going through a brief stretch in the middle of 92 where I stopped watching wrestling only to come back and see that Bret Hart was the new champ. Pretty big WTF moment for me. Not that I didn't want him to be champ, it just seemed out of the blue at the time.

Well, this was right in the thick of HHH's "it's all about me" mode.

I lived in the Philippines from 85 to 88, which was when WWF PPVs first came about. I saw all of the shows in that span via VHS tape thanks to family in the states. First PPV I ever ordered and watched live was Summerslam 89. First and only PPV I've ever attended was IYH: Good Friends, Better Enemies. Crappy PPV with a good ME. The HBK/Diesel streetfight. The heat Nash got for ripping off Mad Dog Vachon's fake leg was amazing. Remember, Vachon is a local fella. This year I'm attending Judgement Day here.

have you guys never heard of dollar theaters...? Wow, that Penelope movie didn't do so hot...figured all the chicks would be dragging their poor guys to see that shit.

Ben Affleck made a pretty decent Daredevil. One of the few times I actually enjoyed him in anything. Michael Clarke Duncan was an odd choice for Kingpin...you know, the whole black thing and all...but he was pretty good and really needed more screentime than he got. Tell me he doesn't look pimp in that suit with the cane. I rarely RARELY enjoy a Colin Ferrell performance...I liked him here. Jennifer Garner was about the worst casting choice in the movie. That, I can agree with.

I went to bed after weekend update because I was just too tired to watch the rest, but what i saw this week was way better than the Ellen Page and Tina Fey episodes (I missed the Amy Adams episode). The Digital Short continues to be the best part of every episode. I'll catch the rest on DVR later today, I suppose.

Provided the rest of the card is good, i'd buy it. It doesn't have to be a title match...in fact, it shouldn't be.

Even if they don't win their conference tourney, an impressive run from a bubble team in these tournaments could get them into the big tournament. Outright winning your conference tournament, regardless of your season record, gets you an automatic bid.
