I'm going to do as much as I can in the meantime, but might need you to do the finishing portion. FYI, the finish should see Drek get involved, but before Zack can get to him, Black does. The GPX should work me over, and Popick hits the ring, grabbing a chair from one of the GPX (they should be working me over with one) and teasing hitting me before clocking them and running them off.

I did a thread like this in this folder not long ago. HTQ and I discussed how terrible it was that the company went under. From what I know, RVD, Fonzie and Cyrus were all ready to jump to WCW. Corino was supposedly discussed, but I don't know if he ever signed. Never heard anything about Gunn or D'Lo, but the latter wouldn't surprise me since WWF always held the Droz incident over his head. O'Haire was supposed to get a big push as an American who was raised/trained in Japan, to give somewhat of a gimmick to his legit martial arts background.

I'm looking forward to this, as well as the concert on the 19th (311/Papa Roach/Unwritten Law).

I think Joe will be the one to finally unseat Daniels, and have a long X Division reign. I'd like to see him do something similar to what he did with the Pure Title in ROH and put the X belt over as being equal with the World Title. Then you could have something like Joe vs. the other "monsters" like Brown, Rhino and Abyss. Aries is a good pickup. I'm surprised Lethal was on the ballot because I figure they might have gone for a more "name" guy like Homicide, Danielson, or even Cabana.

IIRC, they couldn't get Liger last time they tried, but I think it was only due to his already being booked. We know it's not Noble or Spanky anymore. I'd say Aries, Strong, AmDrag, and two others. As much as ROH pushes Lethal and he's definitely making a name for himself, I can't see him on the ballot, unless maybe Joe put a word in for him. I don't think any of the WWE guys opted out of their severance pay, so I doubt it'll be Kidman or Moore, although both are possible (Moore especially, since he knows he's "in".)

Oh, OK. You scared me for a minute. FYI, the idea was, if you WERE taking time off, to have an Original injure you during the course of a match (basically do a "shoot" in the match, like a Kidman/Chavo type deal) and the Upstarts blame the Originals for trying to use brute force to hold them down.

I'd also give a shot at the era of the original brand split, just to see if I could have drawn some good stuff out of the split rosters and make it worthwhile, as opposed to stuff like Buh Buh Ray Dudley vs. Triple H.

I actually just put that Nitro on DVD a few weeks ago. As for Hardy, a Moore/Hardy team would be good and give both something to do. Plus Shannon would get some rub from being with Jeff, who has "mark credibility". I'd like to see Danielson or Homicide vs. Daniels. I still think Homicide should come here, because he'd get over in no time.

Popick, you should probably appear in our match in some fashion this week (Dan Black/Zack Malibu vs. GPX). Actually, I'd say that PK should too, as we could have Crystal, etc. appear and the few faces we know of come out to even things up (with SJ coming out last). We'll work it out.

One of my friends last year got a jersey of someone (I can't recall who, but it was a basketball jersey) and a few weeks later the guy got traded. We went out one night and he had it on, and my other friend was joshing him about his "out of date" jersey. My friend just snapped back "so, now it's a throwback!"

December '97 WCW onward. That way Hogan/Sting and Bret's debut, amongst other things, wouldn't have gotten so fucked up.

The only jerseys I have are my Canadiens one, my Rangers one, an old Canucks one, my Ricky Williams Dolphins jersey (before he went AWOL and all that), and a bunch that I picked up at Bob's Stores for only $9.99 last year (McNair, Urlacher and Hasselbeck). Like niskie, I pretty much only wear the hockey ones, and I have to get me a new Rangers one.

WOOHOO~! On 8/19, I get to hear "Getting Away With Murder" LIVE and in person, as Jenna and I are going to a 311/Papa Roach concert. Happiness over, back to booking.

Yeah, NRG and Los Diablos Del Fuego can be used whenever, really. I know Tony had an idea on called up LDDF from OAOVW, and NRG's just kinda bopping around until they get plugged in with the Love Doctors (I think that was Eski's plan). Is Cal writing his GMship promo, or is someone else, or what? I haven't seen him online in a few days.
