    The GAB 4 Way.

Sounds good. I'm going to put the match here, that way if anyone gets free time and wants to add to it, we all can. CABOOSE You know what we have next, Cole. COACH Hey, how come you always ask him if he knows what's next? CABOOSE Because the less you talk, the better. COLE Haha...sorry, Coach. Up next we've got a grudge match if there ever was one, but not your typical grudge. This one is between four of the top teams in the OAOAST, none of whom seem to be getting along, with the exception of Gunner and Crystal and the GPX. CABOOSE And right there that's a key to this contest. Those two teams are on the same wavelength as of late. Whatever Drek Stone is selling the GPX are buying, feeling it follows the belief that the spotlight was taken off them by the Originals after Anglemania. Crystal and Gunner are always up for making Zack's life miserable, but everyone has gone to extremes as of late in trying to take each other out. COLE We saw that melee Thursday night that resulted in General Manager Josie Baker getting knocked out cold by a School's Out from Zack, which allowed the GPX, Gunner and Crystal to escape the wrath of Zack, Some Guy, Dan Black and CWM, four men who hate each other as much as they do those other two teams. CABOOSE It's a recipe for disaster, but when we say that in the OAOAST, we know we're guaranteed a great match. Let's let Buffer take it away. COACH Can I get at least one word in edge-wise? CABOOSE By my count, that sentence just gave you nine words and a hyphen. That's enough. COACH ... Up in the ring, the ever-dapper Michael Buffer stands tall, his booming voice overpowering the crowd noise in the arena. BUFFER Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the FOUR WAY DANCE! The crowd roars, and immediately following the announcement is the sound of "Quiet", normally the theme song for Dan Black and Tony Brannigan, but for tonight, the theme song of Black and his Original Elite associate CWM. Together, the duo walks through the mist that engulfs the aisle, two vicious souls ready to exact some revenge on the other three teams tonight. BUFFER Approaching the ring at this time, weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred, eighty eight pounds. First, from Abbotsford, British Columbia Canada, he is C...W...MMMMMMMMM! His partner, hailing from London, England, he is The Ice Heart, DAAAAAN BLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKK! Clad in his trenchcoat, Black springs up onto the apron and slowly removes his sunglasses, revealing his icy glare to the world, as CWM perches himself atop the turnbuckles and stares out into the crowd. The fans welcome them with mostly jeering, although some scattered cheers are audible. COLE Two men who don't care what anyone thinks about them. As Black removes his coat and steps into the ring, "Quiet" is replaced by "Plug In Baby", as the Muse tune is aired to welcome the Crown Jewel of the OAOAST and her henchman. BUFFER Introducing team number two, weighing in at a combined weight of five hundred, twenty five pounds. First, from Coquitlam, British Columbia Canada, she claims to be the Crown Jewel of the OAOAST, CRRRRRRRRRRRYSSSSSSSSSSSSTAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Her partner, from Detroit, MI, GUNNNERRRRR SHARRRRRPSSSSSS! The imposing Gunner and the instigator herself make it to ringside, with Crystal waiting for Gunner to enter the ring before she dare step foot in it. Gunner steps over the ropes and stands in front of CWM and Dan Black, not speaking, not flinching, while Crystal comes in behind him and jaw-jacks with her two opponents. "In a world full of posers..." The spoken word introduction of the O-Town hit "Make Her Say" comes over the sound system, and the fans immediately stand to boo and jeer the two men about to make their entrance. "Make Her Say UUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, NAH NAH NAH NAH!" Coming out from the back, as cocky as ever, are Scotty Static and Johnny Jax, strutting and swaggering their way down the aisle as Buffer makes good with the introductions. BUFFER Now coming down the aisle, team number three. Weighing in tonight at a combined weight of four hundred, seven pounds...first, from Hotlanta, GA, SCOTTTTTYYYYYY STAAAAAAAAATTTTTICCCCC! His partner, from the 313, JOHNNNNYYYYY JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXX...they are the GLOBAL PARTY EXCHANGE~! Immediately, Johnny and Scotty hop in the ring and stand alongside Crystal and Gunner, with the four of them staring down Black and CWM. Referee Nick Patrick pleads with them to wait until the bell rings to settle their differences, but the cocky GPX and their occasional allies inch forward, moving towards a prepared Black and CWM...until Black and CWM bolt forward and start nailing everyone in sight! COLE It's pandemonium already! Black starts swinging, nailing both Static and Sharps, while CWM goes after Jax. Crystal tries to pull her fellow Canadian off of him, but he turns around and shoves her down, then turns around to go back to Jax...and gets nailed with a lariat! Jax and a recovered Crystal start putting the boots to CWM, while Sharps holds Black for Scotty to kick in the ribs, when all of a sudden the lights dim, and an the all too familiar sound of bass chords fills the arena, sending the fans into a frenzy! "Getting Away With Murder" blasts through the speakers, and darting out from the locker room and down the aisle are Zack Malibu and Some Guy, sans intro, since Buffer headed for higher ground when the fighting broke out! CABOOSE Ring the bell, Patrick! The veteran referee finds a neutral corner and stays there, calling for the bell as everyone pairs off. CWM and Gunner, Some Guy with Crystal, Dan Black with Scotty Static and Zack Malibu with Johnny Jackson. It's an all out war zone in the opening moment, as fists fly between the four teams. CWM backs Gunner into the corner and mounts the ropes, bringing punch after punch down upon him, until the big man grabs CWM by the legs and drops him over the ropes onto the apron. Reacting quickly, CWM takes Gunner's head and jumps down off the apron, snapping the big man's neck on the top rope to stagger him...and then Some Guy comes racing over and dives at Gunner with a crossbody that sends them both falling over the ropes and down to the floor! Seeing this, Crystal goes to race to the aid of her bodyguard, but as she begins to run to the ropes, Black reaches out and grabs her by the hair, jerking her down to the canvas! Black kicks Crystal and forces her out to the apron under the bottom rope, and that leaves Zack Malibu alone against both GPX members. Static and Jax are able to overcome the Preppy One, working him over with forearms across the neck and back before pulling him up and whipping him towards the ropes...and towards Black! The Ice Heart sees Malibu coming and ducks low, backdropping him over the ropes and out to the apron...but Malibu clings to the top rope and lands on his feet. GPX quickly move towards Black, but Malibu springs off the top rope just as quickly, launching himself back into the ring over Dan Black and delivering a double dropkick to both members of the Global Party Exchange! COACH Damn! CABOOSE Cole, when did we hire Ron Simmons? Static and Jax roll out of the ring as well, and no sooner is Zack up on his feet then he's spun around by Black, who shoves him away and tells Zack that he "had it". Malibu responds by approaching Black silently, and the two go nose to nose for a moment before locking up in the center of the ring! Black quickly grabs a headlock, but Zack shoves him off, into the ropes...then gets floored when Black rebounds, crashing into him with a shoulderblock. Black hits the ropes again, hopping over Zack's body and then running across the ring to the other side, and Zack springs up, leapfrogging him on this rebound, and when Zack turns around, he's snared again in a headlock! Black wrenches his arm around Zack's cranium, but Malibu quickly slips his head out and grabs his own headlock! Black struggles to free himself, pushing Zack so that he moves forward towards the ropes, and as Black lifts Zack for a back suplex, Malibu plants both his feet into the chest of Crystal, knocking her off the apron and using that move to float over Black's shoulders, land on his feet and quickly hook a waistlock. Black squirms, then fires back an elbow to break free before swinging himself around behind Zack and hooking both of his arms, locking Zack in a full nelson, but Malibu is able to pull his arms free and then use a go-behind, then bring Black to the canvas with a waistlock takedown! Zack then applies a side headlock, but Black pushes up off the canvas and gets to his feet, all while in the hold, then shoves Malibu away, looking unimpressed with his opponent's ability in the early going. COLE These two are two of the most experienced OAOAST performers, two of the best in the world. CABOOSE And bitter rivals. Black waves Zack on, holding his hands up to ask for another lockup from the popular superstar, but as Zack moves in, Black stuns him with a forearm to the side of the jaw! Another one follows, and Zack gets sent to the ropes. Black jumps up, trying for a rana as Zack comes off...but at the last second Zack holds onto the ropes to stop his momentum, and Black crashes down to the canvas! He sits up, and Malibu dives forward, cracking him in the jaw with a basement dropkick that sends Black rolling to his corner and tags in CWM! COLE Speaking of bitter rivals... CWM rushes into the ring and charges Zack, but Malibu busts out the MATRIX DUCK~! in dodging a lariat, then comes up and spins CWM around, taking him by the arm and whipping him into his own corner! CWM crashes chest first, then stumbles back...but Malibu runs at him and dropkicks him between the shoulder blades, sending him into the corner again! CWM rests up against the turnbuckles, momentarily dazed, and this allows Malibu to race towards him from across the ring and dive into the air, crushing CWM in the corner with a diving splash! CWM flops backwards, and Malibu quickly goes for the cover on his old foe! ONE! T-KICKOUT! CWM is able to get a shoulder up, but Malibu reacts immediately, pulling him up by his arm and leading him to the corner, where Zack tags in Some Guy to a loud pop! Together, Zack and Some Guy each take an arm and wrench it, then stun CWM with a double chop to the chest before Some Guy takes him to the mat with a fireman's carry and locks on a rear chinlock. CWM tries to roll out, but Some Guy keeps ahold of him, and the two come up to their feet, where CWM shoves Some Guy towards the ropes. SG rebound, and CWM runs towards him and brings his knee up...but Some Guy floats over the knee and into a schoolboy rollup! ONE! T-NO! CWM again easily kicks out and get to his feet, infuriated. He and Some Guy stare each other down, looking ready to kill each other...until they each move towards opposite corners, with Some Guy tagging in Scotty Static and CWM tagging in Crystal! COLE HA! CABOOSE CWM and Some Guy on the same page...we haven't seen that since the days of the aWo! Both Crystal and Scotty complain, but Patrick makes the call that tags were made, and they are now the legal people. CWM and Some Guy eye each other as they exit the ring, each man taking his spot on the apron. Crystal and Static are now in the ring and scowl at the four OAOAST veterans who sit on the apron, waiting for the two cocky youngsters to lock horns. The first ever female World Champion and the once-popular Static tie up, jockeying for position as the rest of the combatants watch on. Scotty quickly goes to an arm wrench, but Crystal easily manuevers her way out, flipping forward and then wrenching Static's arm. Scotty reaches for the ropes, but Crystal delivers two roundhouse kicks to his stomach, doubling him over while stuck in a wristlock, and then once he's keeled over, Crystal segues into a stepover armbar. Crystal pulls up on the arm, but Static tries and tries to reach the ropes...and grabs the middle rope, causing Crystal to have to break the hold! Immediately, Crystal backs off of her occasional ally and allows a clean break, giving Static enough space to get to his feet. Scotty comes up and shakes his arm, trying to get the feeling back, and moves towards Crystal, who extends a hand out of sportsmanship. Scotty accepts, but the normal goodwill gesture gets booed out of the building, causing both superstars to pause and look at the crowd in shock as they circle each other again. COLE These are not two of the most beloved athletes in the company, at least not anymore. CABOOSE It's amazing to think that one year ago, these two were two of the most popular wrestlers in the world, while Zack Malibu, CWM, and Dan Black were loathed by the wrestling community, and Some Guy was not working full-time in the OAOAST. Funny how things change, eh Cole? COLE Indeed. COACH FUNAKI~! COLE What? COACH Indeed, Fu...nevermind.

    The GAB 4 Way.

Either Crystal/Gunner or GPX. What I'd like to do is build up the Upstarts even more, but when we have the TLC, have Some Guy and Zack take the belts in that match. Obviously that'll be the crowd-pleasing moment and the heels will be pissed, but the next week Drek can remind GPX, etc. that us winning was a GOOD Thing, because it's not going to help the Originals get unified anytime soon, as The Original Elite would want the belts, etc.

Trinity asks for RELEASE from Tna !

1)The tapings are partly for international/syndicated XPlosion broadcasts. 2)It is still a show broadcast to people, whether it be over TV or the internet. 3)It'll take a hell of a lot more than you're wishing to go away. Plus, I'd say in a battle of who TSM would want to stay, I'd win hands down.

Which is precisely why they taped last night. At least allow your hating to make a semblance of sense.
  6. Smarks Board Name: Zack Malibu Wrestlers Name: "Urban Legend" Todd Cortez Height: An even 6 ft. Weight: 226 lbs. Hometown: Now hails from "Hollywood Boulevard" as a tribute to his now retired tag team partner Mike Van Siclen Age: 21 Face/Heel: Babyface Stable: Martial Law (w/ Landon Maddix) Ring Escort: Megan Skye (typically only in tag matches though) Weapon(s): None Quote: "Whatever it takes." Looks: [Description of how your character usually looks inc. ring attire.] Thick build, as Todd is jacked but not excessively "cut". Natural olive skin. Closely cropped black hair, faded. Thin black goatee. No tattoos or really distinguishing marks, as even his skin is "pure" due to his straight edge philosophy on life. Black baggy, "Tajiri" style pants, with "Urban Legend" scrawled in graffiti type writing down the legs. Both wrists and fists taped up. Wears gold chain and cross to the ring, but removes it before every match, holding it in his hand and kissing it before handing it over to the timekeeper or announcer. During entrances, now wears a bulletproof vest, and more of than not may have sunglasses on. Outside of the ring he won't dress like a stereotypical "thug". While Todd is from the streets he doesn't flaunt the fact, and dresses very trendy, no doubt showing some of that Van Siclen influence again. He will rock the throwbacks though. Ring Entrance: Todd's NEW THEME of "Oh No" by Mos Def, Nate Dogg, and Pharoah Monche (because I love that song) hits, and the first time Nate Dogg shouts "Oh No", a quick burst of pyro shoots up from both sides of the ramp, showering Cortez in sparkles as he prepares to walk down the aisle. Will get in the ring and give a quick crowd taunt, nothing specific, but your usual arm raising, up on the ropes, etc. saluting of the fans. Stats: Strength: 4 (enough to hold his own and enables him to bust out the suplexes, powerbombs, etc., but he won't be tossing the larger guys around with ease). Speed: 6 (quick like a cat, very agile. To compare him to Shelton Benjamin would be appropriate). Vitality: 5 (can take a beating, as his Hardcore Championship run produced some of the most violent, amazing brawls...and he survived them all). Charisma: 5 The crowd loves him, despite his being a man of few words. Natural ability and presence have gone a long way to make him one of the more popular SWF stars. Can get his point across very well verbally if need be, and cut some great promo's as part of Hollywood Boulevard and Martial Law, as he plays the part of the "straight man" very well. Style: Todd has not used as many submission holds as in the past, keeping them on the back burner in favor of a more in your face style. The Hardcore Title run saw Todd become very innovative in the ring, as he believes in "adapting to the enviroment", which means his matches are never formulaic, and he tries to keep his foes guessing what they'll be hit with next. That said, he does have an offense of preferred manuevers, but it's more of a "when" he'll hit you with them as opposed to a "will" he hit you with them. Todd is also an accomplished tag star, having held the tag titles with Mike Van Siclen as Hollywood Boulevard, and now with Landon Maddix as Martial Law. The team with Van Siclen did wonders for the rookie last year, and now one year into his SWF tenure, he finds himself in a tense situation, teaming with a guy that he at times doesn't even like to be around. Still, they're the champs for a reason. Cortez, as noted throughout his career, is from the streets, and can scrap with the best of them. Size and strength advantages don't matter...he'll go right after an opponent the best way he sees fit, and won't stop until they're down or he's unconscious. Signature moves: -Neckwrecker: Todd lifts the opponent powerbomb style and puts them across one shoulder (Canadian backbreaker) then wraps his arms around their neck and drops them to the canvas with a neckbreaker over his shoulder. This could end a match on it's own, but it's mostly for Todd to weaken the neck to set up a Riot Act Plus or Street Dreams. -Urban Assault: Sitout Chokeslam Bomb. Todd's former finisher, and can still be used as such if hit at the appropriate time in a contest, although it's been seen less and less as Todd now favors the Riot Act Plus. Crotch-Droppah: Inverted atomic drop. It's simple, but highly effective. This overlooked offensive manuever has been made into a threatening move by Cortez, as he once took Dace Night from the top rope to the canvas, spiking his nether regions on his own knee. Any variation of this move, be it from the apron, the ropes, etc. can be used. Todd will also often do repeated Crotch-Droppah's to stun/incapcitate the opponent. If built properly, a series of them or a Super Crotch Droppah could easily end a match, as tremendous pain is sure to follow. Hollow Point: The "Pounce" tackle, or more specifically, a spear aimed at the side of the opponent's body rather than head on. Used to damage the ribs and/or get the opponent down. Sitout Spinebuster: For use on foes of equal/slightly larger stature. You know he's not getting someone like Janus up for it. Todd will send the opponent into the ropes and snare them for a spinebuster, but instead of dropping them "main event style" or driving them down like Double A used to, Todd will slam them down to the canvas and sitout with it in powerbomb-like fashion. Shooting Star Lariat: From either the top rope, the apron, or springboard variety. Todd will execute a shooting star press while the opponent is standing, and end the move by extending his arm and taking them out with a flying lariat. Common moves: -Springboard aerial moves. Crossbody's, dropkicks, ranas of all sorts and sizes. Get creative when writing against me though, if at all possible. Todd's not afraid to bust out something unheard of or something risky at the last moment. -Standing moonsault -STO -Russian Legsweep/Legdrop combination (rolls through the legsweep, comes up and immediately drops a leg across the opponent's throat). -Lots of kicks. Superkicks, spin kicks, wheel kicks, dropkicks. He's got the martial arts background, and he uses it. -European uppercuts. -Todd is not above using a quick tide turner like a thumb to the eye, eye rake, low blow, etc. Being raised on the streets, sometimes even the most dedicated fighters have to fight dirty. Rare moves: -Somersault Rana. Todd will dive off the top rope and do a full flip, landing on his opponents shoulders and quickly snapping him over with a huracanrana. Even rarer version is for Todd to do a somersault plancha to the floor ending with this move. -Moonsault Fallaway Slam. With opponent on the top rope, Todd will climb up and pull the opponent into his arms, then moonsault off the ropes, ending with the opponent hitting the canvas with Todd's full body weight coming down on top of him. Finishers: -Riot Act Plus-Canadian Destroyer. Todd positions his foe in a standing headscissors, as if to set them up for a piledriver. Instead, Todd leaps over their back, pulling the opponents weight over with him as he lands on his feet and spikes their head on the canvas with a piledriver. The name is Todd paying homage to the man who got him his break in the SWF, Mike Van Siclen. *NOTE: Should not be used on opponents over 260-270 MAX. This is mostly a cruiserweight offensive move, however it would be possible for him to pull it off against a smaller heavyweight wrestler. Don't look for him to do this to someone like Janus though. YOU CAN NOT KICK OUT OF THIS WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION. You want to counter it, go ahead and try to, but do NOT use it as a near fall. This move knocked Dace Night the fuck out, and that should mean something. -Street Dreams-Dragon Sleeper/Armbar takedown w/ grapevine. Opponent is grabbed in a reverse facelock (Dragon Sleeper), and Todd takes them to the mat, wrapping his legs around them to make escape tough to come by. With his free (left) arm, he'll wrap it around the opponent's left arm and pull back, also putting pressure on the left shoulder/upper arm area. -The Hook Up-the new, odd looking finisher that Cortez has used in the past. With the opponent on their stomatch, Cortez will kneel down on their upper body, pressing his knees against his opponents shoulders to pin them down. Todd will then reach back and pull the leg of his opponent (can be either one, depending on what one is weaker), bending it over his own shoulder before pulling down on it and attempting to snap the leg in two. It's sort of a Sicilian Crab with a twist to it. Accomplishments: SWF Tag Team Champion in Hollywood Boulevard with Mike Van Siclen SWF Tag Team Champion with Landon Maddix in Martial Law SWF USJL Champion SWF Hardcore Gamers Champion Bio: You should know by now. If you need any history, PM me. Tag stats for Martial Law are in Landon's stat post.

    TNA Impact Spoilers

Honestly, that lineup is incredible. The main event should be a good-very good brawl. Styles and Waltman will work, and with Lynn as the referee and his history with both, it'll have a good story as well. Daniels vs. Williams should steal the show, Joe vs. Sabin should be very good-great, and the tag match should *finally* see James choose which side he wants to be on. I'm also guessing Alex Shelley and Michael Shane vs. AMW?

    Carlito's Finisher

Play of the Day is Elix Skipper's old finisher, and was used by Randy Orton during his first run in the WWE. It's where you grab their arm and put your leg over their head like a FameAsser, then swing your opponent over and basically give them a neckbreaker with your leg. Last night it appeared he was trying to use The Stroke (facefirst legsweep), so maybe he's going to use that from now on?

    Turning WCW around in 2000.

The New Blood, Millionaire's Club and nWo were all done with by the time the Thrillers kicked off. Still, you had Team Canada, the NBT's, the Animals, the MIA, and Russo's "band" of Nash, Steiner, JJ.

    Turning WCW around in 2000.

Serious discussion here, since I know a lot of people would have said "fire Russo", etc. Going by what hand we were dealt by WCW in 2000, what do you think could have actually helped the company rather than kill it. I'm talking feuds that could have drawn, guys that should have been pushed/depushed, and what you think would logically have made them money and saved them from selling out to McMahon. Some of my thoughts (free for criticism and discussion topics): Have Mike Awesome debut by attacking Goldberg rather than Nash. Awesome could talk about how he's always heard "Goldberg this, Goldberg that" but doesn't think that Bill can handle someone as "extreme" as him. I'd have him actually lay Bill out and have the announcers put over Awesome as a big deal, saying that no one has ever manhandled Goldberg like that. Obviously, I would have never turned Goldberg heel. I'd have still run the Douglas/Flair feud, but with less "insider" heat behind it, and made it that Douglas wants to be the "new" cornerstone of WCW, so he's going to earn it by taking out the current one. I wouldn't have reset all the belts. I'd have had Sid refuse to lose the belt and dare Bischoff and Russo to take it from him. Sid could go through the usual gang of misfits on Nitro's and a couple of PPV's (Jarrett, Douglas but have Flair cost him the match, etc.) before dropping it to Sting (have Russo and Bischoff try to cause turmoil amongst the faces by pitting them against each other, but Sting wins the belt and leads the cavalry against the New Blood). I'll have more that follows, just interested in seeing what you guys would do as well.

    After One Night Stand

During wrestling practice in middle school, my friend gave me a piledriver on nothing but the gym mat. Going back to '98 or so, my friend's parents had just bought a house, and the previous tenants left behind their kid's trampoline until they were settled in their new digs. So we used to goof around on it, and one time during a cookout, I took my friend Amanda and gave her the Rock Bottom and a People's Elbow. This is on video. Also at the same house but at a different point, my friend was on a float in the pool (inground) and I sprinted across the side of the pool and dove at him and hit a Swanton onto him. Funny shit.
