I too clung on to the very end, hoping for the best. To me, the point where I slapped my head wasn't the Fingerpoke, or the Arquette deal. It was the Goldberg heel turn. God willing they tried to make it work by having him kill Jim Duggan, who was a sympathetic character, but everyone knew he didn't have a chance. Plus, people were not ready to boo Goldberg. The ensuing angle where Nash/Steiner/Golderg were "shooting" on each other both on commentary and IN THE RING (Goldberg not wanting to "do the job", etc.) just made it more of a disaster. The Thrillers, the cruisers, even Flair's Magnificent Seven angle killing off all the faces and setting up for the big babyface return of Goldberg to hopefully rejuvenate the company were all going well, but we know how it all turned out.

I just got Ong-Bak on DVD yesterday, and I'm still crossing my fingers that it comes out around here so I can see it on a big screen. The closest I'd seen it to RI was at a film festival up in Boston back in October. I also picked up In Good Company on DVD, which is an actual screener copy sent to critics or whatever. Widescreen, clear picture, as if it was store bought. All for $5 at the flea market, lol. I may have to stop going to the theater.

Dude, it was a red suit! From what I remember of it, it was campy and fun. I enjoyed it as a kid, and again when FX used to show the replays. I'll probably be picking this up on DVD. FYI, last I heard they are making this into a movie sometime this/next year.

Time crunching sucks because I'd like to be able to leave detailed feedback, and I give props to all of you that manage to do it. Truth be told, I'm flattered you all liked the Zack/Crystal match, because I wrote in an hour. Seriously. I just had a story thought out for building to the finish and winged it otherwise. Like I said, if that's what it came down to, whatever. Holding modship doesn't equate royalty. However, my problem is that if you work in an office, you don't walk in one day to find someone else at your desk. You get a pink slip, or a notice. Someone could have easily said "Zack, it doesn't seem like you have much time on your hands, let's give it to so and so". No big deal here as far as losing the modship, it's how it went about that's made me cry foul.

Near it since Christmas? Maybe not posted in it, but I sure as hell have been in it since then. I wouldn't call myself inactive. I'm here every day, and check around, but I apologize if teaching, selling wrestling merchandise, and sleeping so that I can get up and do it all over again the next day stopped me from talking much.
