    LOST

I disagree. The flashbacks both under the current circumstances and the theorized circumstances do the same thing - help explain why the character is the way he/she is. I can see how it would be a bit of a rip off since it never "really" happened, _but_ if you traded the memories among the survivors, then it *did* happen, just to another character. Or even if the memories aren't traded, then you can get into their real history.

Chris Benoit is still the man

Why did anyone have to go over to RAW?
  3. RavishingRickRudo

Chris Benoit is still the man

Which could have been easily counter acted with a "You didn't really make him tap, you cheated, you never broke Benoits spirit. Chris Benoit is twice the man you are. You're not the greatest champion ever."

10 things I would do to TNA right now

While weight limits in the WWE would make sense, in TNA it doesn't realy work because they don't really have the diversity in talent size to get away with it.

Chris Benoit is still the man

Your definition of suck, sucks. Benoit/HHH/HBK didn't make a lick of sense throughout its entire run and resulted in a lame duck run that only accomplished one thing: It put the belt on Orton, only to be taken by HHH a month later. Benoits title run on Smackdown would have been so much better and more meaningful.

The Eddie/Brock storyline went for 3 weeks and HBK/HHH/Benoit sucked.

    Joe turned them down.

Chris Benoit is still the man

Benoit vs. Brock happened 2 years ago around this time. Benoit beat Cena the same night which was far and away Cenas best in-ring performance. It was the closest the WWE got to an awesome storyline. Albert - who had faced Benoit several times before and was alligned with Brock - before the match, bet on Benoit to win (back when the FBI did that sorta thing). It was, like, epic. And this was all built in one night. Brock promised to make Benoit tap. The match ended with Brock hitting the F-5, Benoit kicking out, Brock taking a chair and leveling Benoit, and then debuting the Brocklock, rendering Benoit unconscious. Of course, immediately this brings you back to Benoit vs. Angle RR03, where Benoit in that case _tapped out_ and now he doesn't. Brock got the win, but never made Benoit tap. The whole angle from Benoits side could have been built from that, and Brock had something left to prove in wanting to make Benoit quit. The crowd really, really, REALLY wanted Benoit to win that match. And the injustice at the end could have made for a superhot match at the Royal Rumble. So what do they do? Give the shot to Bob Holly.

10 things I would do to TNA right now

Shit, both dudes are sleazy. The third person in the booth should be a dominatrix who randomly gets them to lick her boots. And they refer to her as "Yes, m'lady." And Tenay needs Morty Seinfeld-esque thick lensed glasses.

Did Lance Cade piss someone off?

Cade had great facial expressions too. They were a good team, dammit! Maybe not in the wrestling sense, but as characters they were good together.

10 things I would do to TNA right now

They need to have Don West DRIPPING in gold - watches, necklaces, rings - and wearing various outfits that expose his chest hair. The dude is sleazy. Let's sleaze him up some more. They need to make the show seem more live. When Christian came out last night, it didn't seem natural or spontaneous. The less editing, the better. And they need to use more inventive camera shots. Shaking the camera when there's action is annoying. They need to use zooms more, more panning, use more crane shots, maybe have cameras on some of the ring posts, etc. If it's possible to have a cinematic documentary feel, then I think they should strive for it.

10 things I would do to TNA right now

    1. 6 PPVs a year 2. Less matches and angles on Impact, and in their place, better matches and better developed angles on Impact 3. More comedy workers 4. Get rid of Zbyszko as the authority figure 5. Get rid of JJ 6. Either get rid of Tenay and West, or develop/differentiate their personalities more, or add someone to the team that isn't so Rah Rah and doesn't share the same brain 7. Build TV better

    OAO 12/3 TNA Impact! Thread

I thought it was one of the better Impacts. This was a development episode rather than a sell episode. But still, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe Bobby Heenan Sabu and Abyss Jeff Jarrett and Rhyno Rhyno Christian and JJ JJ and Jackie Christian and Bobby Roode Christian vs. Monty Brown 4LK Raven and Larry Raven and his girlfriend Raven vs. DitR 4 X division guys AMW vs. 3D This is all the stuff they were trying to get over _in 40 minutes_.

Has the Brand Extension Ran its course

--Lots of outlets have given favorable coverage to WWE's strong quarterly report. Multi-Channel News reported on WWE's claim of a 4.7 rating for the debut of Raw on 10/3 (actually 4.4), and touting the success of the move of Smackdown to Friday (which has been a big success for UPN). Da Meltz

    LOST

To add-on to my altered-memories theory... What if Jack wasn't _really_ a doctor. What if they altered his memories to make him think he was one (including medical knowledge). What if, in real life (before the Island) he was like Sawyer. The tattoos, for example, is more of a Sawyer thing than a Jack thing (and what if Sawyer was a doctor?). If the Island was an experiment, the test would be to see if this former bad guy who cared about nothing but himself would end up being a noble leader who sacrifices himself for others, not because it is in his nature, but rather, all because his memories changed. This would also explain how Locke can use his legs. In real life, Locke could always use his legs. There was never a problem. But the memories they gave him told him he was once paralyzed. How would this man deal with one moment being paralyzed, and the next moment being able to walk? How could he explain it? What if Kate lived a regular life, trouble free. There wasn't a criminal bone in her body. On the island, her memories tell her she killed, that she's inherantly bad. And there's two guys on the island (let's even say that Sawyer and her were married in "real life") and which one will she turn to and fall in love with?

    SNL Review

Dane Cook was one of the best guests they've had in a long time. I didn't see all of the show, but from what I saw, the dude either never looked at a cue card or is really good at covering it up. He was a lot better than most of the regulars, actually. I liked the coma skit, but I think they carried the initial joke a lil too far. I do think the extra 15 minutes was necessary, but I don't think they should have told us "15 minutes later". They should have drawn it out a lil more. I luved the Sanz skit though. DUD? You crazy. I thought Cook was hilarious in it with the throwing star and whatnot, their stereotyping of terrorists was great. The gag about the last name was bad, and Phoeler -who seemed to be in the entire show- wasn't very good (then again the role didn't call for very good). I like the "lit" line from the Weekend update, but then she had to go ahead and ruin it by acknowledging that the crowd liked it. Oh, and Fred is the fucking all star of that cast. The gossip schtick was fantastic, even if the audience didn't quite know what to make of it.

Has the Brand Extension Ran its course

People who talk about ending the brand extension aren't really thinking things through. One, they have more PPVs now. Two, the run more shows now. Three, RAW and Smackdown writers can't even do 2 hours per week of cohesive storytelling, how can you expect them to do 4? Four, who the hell could take 4 hours of WWE storytelling a week? I can't even take 1 hour.

    WWE Re-Signs Jamal

Looks like a natural storyline against Kane and Big Show. The question is, will it actually be a feud, or will it just be a few encounters topped off with a bunch of chokeslams? It's going to be hard to get the titles off Show and Kane given their build and size, and to me it looks like we'll get a Show/Kane split before the titles are taken off of them. 3MW (hopefully they'll get better names, or perhaps a fired Bischoff as a manager and mouthpiece since it doesn't make sense without him) could realistically take the titles off the two big men, since they are two big men themselves. Rosie vs. Big Show would rule.

    OAO 12/3 TNA Impact! Thread

The Gayda shit better be shes mad JJ got Gail Kim to try and seduce Charlie Haas into coming into TNA and joining him. Cause JJ: Ladies Man, doesn't work. And Bulletbob had the best promo on the show.
