That was, like, fucked up. Yeah, really fucked up.

A key component of something being offensive is that someone is offended. Yes or no? Therefore. If someone is offended....

Top WWE wrestler's wife asks him to quit company
RavishingRickRudo replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
You'd think Nancy Sullivan would have been around wrestling long enough to know the health risks and dangers associated with it, no? I am not saying it's not her, but it sounds more of a naive person getting shook by a death and wising up, rather than someone who has been in and close to the business for over 15 years. -
How can something be offensive if no one is offended? How can something not be offensive when it offends people? It's not a circular argument, it's cause and effect. Think harder.
-
Share the theory. Doesn't matter if you're off, we've all been off at some point.
-
Yes, because "This isn't a court room" must've taken you hours to determine. If someone gets offended, it's not a matter of whether they should or shouldn't have been offended. They were. Period. If someone gets offended and you say they shouldn't be offended, what exactly are they supposed to do? Not be offended any more? Put some more thought into that, bucko.
-
And who is to determine what is offensive? Did you actually think that through before you wrote it?

All my jiggas said they were cool with me callin them jiggas.

How DARE you sully the good name of Nell Carter and her hit television show Gimme a Break with such vulgarity. Why, is it because she's black? Oh, I bet it is. You strut in here and decide to spread hate like it was goin on its expiration date. Well I ain't havin that.

I'm leaning towards the video footage.

I haven't read or heard anything from a wrestler that HASN'T been positive towards Taker. It's the strangest fucking thing.

Stupidest/Worst/Most Offensive Smackdown (Special)
RavishingRickRudo replied to Fuzzy Dunlop's topic in The WWE Folder
Poor Katie Vick. Now there's a gal who didn't deserve to have her memory sullied. Not like that character Eddie Guerrero. -
I'd say it was more of a "if it could happen to Bret, it could happen to any one of us" kinda thing. It was a breach of trust, and the boys had to know they were safe from it. I don't think it was a "how could you do that to bret?" kinda thing. Sitting Taker down and explaining to him that it was a once in a lifetime thing and "had to be done" was probably what Vince tried to accomplish. My POV, could be wrong. Pure speculation.

You know whose book I'd be interested in reading? The Undertakers. Like, seriously, what has this guy done to get someone as big as Shawn Michaels and HHH for that matter, to suck up to him and stay on his good side?
-
Taker confirmed the story (which Shawn apparently denies in his book) about telling Shawn before the match to "do the right thing" at WM 14 or else there'd be "consequences" on OTR up here in Canada, so who knows what kind of picture Shawn is trying to paint of his relationship with the Deadman.

Last episode until 2006, I need all the momentum I can get to push through Dec.

I think, when the story of 2005 is written, SPIKETV will probably end up as the biggest power player and influence on the wrestling industry, and 2006 will probably end up the same way. SPIKETV is taking chances when no one else is. They are fucking around and experimenting and taking risks, and sometimes that's a good thing. And in this case, it is. I think what people have to realise, though, is that SPIKETV cares only about SPIKETV. They don't care, and the probably don't even WANT, TNAs PPV's to do well because TNA PPV's run in competition to SPIKE programing. Ditto the UFC. But SPIKE is very supportive of both TNA and UFC and in 2005, after all that has happened with the wrestling industry, that a national network is willing to nut up like they have is pretty fuckin impressive.

Muscle Relaxants. Makes sense, considering what wrestlers put their bodies through. But you can hear stories about wrestlers going through Somas like candy - Raven in particular has some nice stories about pill poppin. "Dave asked Raven about his claim to be popping 200 pills a day at one point in his career. He said he was shooting OxyContin 15 times a day which was the equivalent of 16 Percosets. When he did the math, he realized if he continued to do it he would die, and that scared him into quitting."

Must not read

I also like to change it up with the Echo/Ecko/Ekos. It adds to the mystery.

Neither can I. But that's how he rolls.

Joachim Hansens knockout of Imanari might take the cake for me. It was a pretty competitive fight until that point, and the dude WALKS AWAY -back turned- immediately after hitting it. Plus, you know *points to sig*

Oh god, Rogan/Snipes is bad, Tyson/Tank is even worse. I imagine they just want Tyson to face someone who can trash talk, but Tank is not the right image of a fighter they want to promote and would hurt them more in the long run. Plus, Tyson would make more than all the fighters put together... over the course of an entire year. Snipes wanting to fight Van Damme, though. That's fucking awesome. Rogan doesn't make a lot of sense given the fact that he's not an 80's action star and no one really is clamoring for him vs. anyone. But fuckin Blade vs. Col. Guile?! Fuck yeah.
