I mean I just re-watched season 2 and in 1 ep the Chief's wife slits her own throat and Tommy's son gets hit by a car. Who the fuck is the Chief? Or this fucking Tommy fellow? Are either of them Vampires or Space Pirates? Or Slayers of any kind? And Locke has been emasculated by Ben way too many times to be any effective badass.

And a pissed off Anderson Silva is quite possibly the best Anderson Silva. Yes, even better than a photoshopped Silva on the dance floor.

Rogan said it best at the end of the show "it is a privilege" to watch Anderson Silva fight. Fitch saying he wants to be champion, not for the fame, glory, money, or anything like that. Merely because the champion has to fight all the best fighters. Might just be my quote of 2008 for complete badassery. HERRING WINS~! I don't think the dude has ever been happy with a fight of his. He should have been twisting Kongos arms like a baguette though when he had side. Koscheck vs. Dustin was superfly. Them both crying at the end, in different ways, was great. That takedown was dope. Okami vs. Silva sucks. I don't want it. What I want? SILVA vs. BJ~! Also, GSP (who would be my second choice vs. Silva) saying that Serra "crossed the line" had me yelling at the tv "OH SHIT! YOU DONE CROSSED THE LINE NOW MATT SERRA! CROSSED THAT FUCKIN LINE! YOU GONNA GIT IT NOW SUCKA! CROSSED THE LINE!!"

From the weigh ins, Diego packed on a ton of muscle. Okami and Arlovski? A ton of dough nuts.

So at a recent TKO show Pele broke his leg off a kick. I would post the gif, but that would entail watching it again. Which I will never, ever do. My god, the horror. Apparently he passed out from the pain. His opponents reaction was one of pure worry.

I am interested in seeing how EXC and CBS have agreed on sharing advertising revenue. Since EXC is not an established name, I dunno how advertisers would flock to the product.

But Swick looked good against Schoenauer, Riggs, Ray, and Vigneault. But against Loiseau and Okami he didn't look to hot. This is the difference between fighting lower tier and upper tier. It's what happens when you fight guys in the top 10. Swick isn't top ten by any means, but he at least has faced top ten talent, which is a benefit that Davis doesn't have. Swick has proven he can hang with the top guys. This is a fight for both Davis and Swick to move up the ranks at welter, which is why it is such a good match. Davis having better stand up, while probable, is not something I would consider to be fight deciding. He's been hot and cold in the striking dept. and with Swicks reach and tactics, along with Davis' own aggression, I could see Swick staying outside his range and taking the fight like he did vs. Loiseau. And you never know, maybe training with Kos and Fitch for years has given Swick some takedowns. Plus, with Swicks long limbs, Marcus' willingness to take a leg kick and Davis's penchant for bodyshots could get him in trouble if Swick throws a highkick. Right now, Davis is in Kenny Florian territory with me where I need to see how he fares against higher levels of competition before I start fully backing him.

Kimbo won't draw them 5 million viewers. No one outside Tito Ortiz, Ken Shamrock, Chuck Liddell and perhaps Randy Couture can make that kind of impact. The Showtime show drew, what, 500,000 viewers? Premium cable or not, it doesn't indicate drawing the kind of rating CBS would be looking for in that slot. Good to have Dana get a humbling here, though. His constantly playing hardball, my-way-or-the-highway, is getting annoying.

Fighter class. Swick is definitely a step up in competition.

Sapp is in Tank Abbott-mode, where he shows up, tries a lil, if it doesn't work, he'll fold and take his money and go. Which is why you only see Tank fighting for a promotion once. I don't see where Davis dominates Swick, considering Davis is stepping up in class in this case.

Been on a Comedians of Comedy kick lately. Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Zack Galifianakis. Maria Bamford is more odd than funny. The short of Zack dropping a load on Posehns face is possibly the finest comedic creation since Jerry Lewis with an overbite. Louis CK is probably the guy who makes me laugh the hardest, though, lately. Especially when he talks about his kids so harshly. I also like Joe Rogans stuff. UFC connection aside, every chance I can hear this dude talk I take. His diatribes and POVs are well stated and often are funny, though more interesting than funny. His DMT rant in particular.

The 2 that died in the crash were the pilots. Who knows how long they were on the island. If time is slower on the island, then there could be a huge gap.

I think the flash forwards are probably the best idea they could have brought to the series. It has, to me, reinvigorated the show thus far.

Niiice. I was watching this and Celeb Apprentice so I missed a bunch, mainly because I can't stand Kate's storyline. Mainly because I'm a Jack mark. But that's still awesome.
