Too much is made out of the WM 6 ending. Watching it as a kid, it was what it was, a close finish with Hogan doing a classy thing and handing the belt to Warrior and admitting defeat and then letting Warrior have his day in the sun. Hogan protected himself, sure, but he didn't bury Warrior there by any means.

What was Dana supposed to say "I respect your decision and understand the mental and physical toll fighting takes on you?" I mean, there is no cursing at all in that. It's just not Sleazy D's way.

But he did drop the belt. He never said he was willing to take a backseat to people he thought were not fit for the spot.

I'm one of the last guys that would ever jump on the Warrior bandwagon but that is pretty fucking hypocritical. Hogan lost clean and handed the belt to Warrior, that was very classy and he did it with charisma. Not hypocritical at all. Hulk Rules.

The WWE vs. ECW show did nothing to sell me on ECW Redux, but it did sorta sell me on the PPV provided it has Tanaka/Ballz.

In the WWE, about 500 punches are thrown a night. That's about 100,000 a year. None of them are good. So when we get a punch that is actually good, it should be celebrated for years. It will probably be a decade until we see a punch that good on WWE television.

The best thing about Foleys promo was him saying "you've seen all this from me, but you haven't seen nothin yet" in regards to the "sell". It's a shame they couldn't have done this from the beginning where they could have done big promos from Funk, Dreamer, Edge, and Foley, rather than waiting until the 11th hour to, you know, not totally suck. Not the best promo ever, by any means, because I thought it was really scattered, but it certainly helped this feud and if they officially nnounce Tanaka vs. Ballz, I may actually not regret thinking about seeing this at a theatre.

And the King just threw THE PUNCH OF THE YEAR in the WWE.

Yay Foley for getting rid of that very poor excuse for motivation, though I'm not sure exactly what it is now. Ok, it's wanting to get revenge on.. ecw? Ok, better, but, you know, not good. I love how Foley wanted this to work so bad he told Funk to punch his face so hard to cause a mouse under his eye. Maybe I will forgive Foley for the lameness of this feud afterall. That promo was AAAAAAAAAAAAALL over the place, though.

Don't forget about the ECW entrance making this show different from Raw. That match was like the stiffest thing I've ever seen from the WWE... and the wrestling was pretty hard, too.

The WWE's idea of what ECW is/was seems to be: Yell ECW a lot in a group And that's about it.,

With Angle and Big Show in ECW, it seems like ECW is going to be "the place where guys who were milked dry in the WWE go". And could we have a page that documents the similarities between ECW Redux and the Invasion?
