This movie failed on every single fucking level other than the suck level. It succeeded on the suck level. The writers should be shot, the director should be shot, the producers and studio execs should be shot, the actors should be shot, and the academy should take away Halles OSCAR and melt it down into bullets and shoot her with them all.

UFC 60: Hughes vs Gracie

Randy on Commentary was great, as well. -
Agreed.

Hey yo, Super Chico... it's the Dave Guy.

A smaller roster means a stronger glass ceiling, which means talent that should be elevated won't be. A smaller roster means less shit thrown at the wall and therefore less possibilities for someone new and fresh to get over.

You could probably make a list of all the stories LOST has used, and it may come into play later where the Dharma Initiative took their ideas from previous works and not just a writers wink and nod.

TNA Comments which don't warrant a thread
RavishingRickRudo replied to dubq's topic in TNA Wrestling
But if they build it and put so much heat on him (even though it's obvious he's lying and is a big mean lying heel) and when he beats up X division guy after X division guy, when the one X Div guy DOES step up, it's going to mean something. But seriously, though, I wouldn't mind the X Division dying. It doesn't make any sense at all, to me, in regards to how they present it. I think I said this before, but weight divisions make more sense, and if they want to keep the X division title so bad, they could make it an open-weight title. -
I was shocked. I didn't watch the PPV, but Hulk Hogan was the last person I thought would be the partner. And that was probably a time where I was most intrigued by wrestling (Nash and Hall announcing a potential third member). I knew it was going to be someone from the WWF (and I think a former champion), but I was like "Yokozuna?"...

UFC 60: Hughes vs Gracie
RavishingRickRudo replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
I disagree with Gracie being overpaid. The gate will probably be well over 7 million given the ticket prices and a probable attendance of over 10,000, if not 15,000 in the staples centre, buyrates will be well over 300,000 and they will probably get away with making millions in profit, in-part of the strength of having Gracie there. However, that is not the most significant part of Royce being there. I've seen more press coverage for this fight than any other before and the appeal is very simple. And even better, and most importantly, Matt Hughes' value after beating Royce will skyrocket and they will make more money off of Hughes alone in later cards (and whomever in turn beats Hughes - GSP, perhaps) than they would have otherwise. -
And the spinning backkick by Gono is Salaverry good.

It's gonna take me the whole weekend to get through this and all the ZST I Dl'd.

UFC president Dana White said Gracie is guaranteed $1.5 million. http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200...ts/7600133.html -

He got wrecked. Poor Danny. Stupid advice from the corner. She should have held and belled.

AMERICAN IDOl-SEASON 5: THE THREAD
RavishingRickRudo replied to Jericholic82's topic in Television & Film
The single for Taylor seems like it belongs in 1991 and sung by Michael Bolton. -
The constant breaks really hurt the shows momentum for me.

This is very much the best episode I've seen in quite some time. I was giving up on this show, but I might have to watch next season. Murder has been a common theme in this show. I wonder if this is an experiment to determine what lengths a person will go to to murder another person. Many characters on this show are murderers, which is too many to be a coincidence.

Watching both. It's possible. And let's all bask in my rightness... (coils also had Taylor at #1, though I had the top 4 correct, which makes me the most right, thus better than everyone ever). (number one) -

The look on Taylors face when he hugged Kat there was TREMENDOUS. This sly lil grin that a kid would make when looking over the counter about to steal the cookies from the cookie jar. -

After months and months, they have Prince on the show and Ace still doesn't sing any.
