Bottom 3: Lisa, Bucky... um... Paris. Either Bucky or Lisa are goin. They put Ace on last, they did the thing with the kid, they kept him in peoples minds and the judges reinforced it, so he'll be getting the votes this week. Paris was sorta slotted in the middle there and was kinda forgettable. Taylor came SO close to headbutting Lisa there. Goddamn that would have been some television.

Bucky was much worse than Ace. But Ace has been taking squinting lessons. Someone must've told him he looked insane when he was tryin to do the puppy dog act.

Is he pullin some Scott Stapp Jesus arm movement there? "I prayayayayayyay" They gave him the wrap around camera?? Oh C'MON!

They are really trying to push Ace to the final 6 with that kid stuff.

That yellow number would be better without the pants. Or anything under it, really. The belt is like something out of Conan The Barbarian. Ah fuck it, it can stay. Randy was totally checkin our her ass there. Good work.

I thought that was one of the best performances of the night, and probably my favourite. It started off a lil iffy, but he picked it up quickly. I enjoyed that a lot. Simon and Paula are going to slug it out sometime this season. My money is on Paula. I'm sure she's doped up enough not to feel pain.

Elliott has to be the scummiest performer they've had and it's great that they are playing it up with his stylin.

Ok, that was, by far, the greatest Simon critique ever. Ridiculously backhanded.

I don't have anything to say other than I don't have anything to say about that performance. I couldn't be more indifferent about this girl.

That was, like, just there. He spent more time on dancing around than on singing the song. In this competition where you have Mandisa starting things off just beltin it out, you gotta be more memorable -vocally- than that. I thought the arrangement and the band was pretty bad too. Not very exciting.

The old guy holding the McPheever sign with this dirty smile on his face... priceless.

Paula, or someone like Paula, is a necessary evil. There has to be the silver lining. Someone pointing out the positives. It can't all be negative criticism. If everyone were like Simon, then it wouldn't be fun when Simon sez something we all pop for.

Chris likes fucking Rob Thomas. The dude is about as real as... I dunno... every body part Paula Abdul has.

Well that was pretty darn good. The ending was tremendous, the first part had me goin "Hey, what ever happened to Live?" Isn't this what the dude did on that INXS show? Continually change the song and adapt it for himself?

Elvis was in the 50s, Bucky would have done better doing some Elvis. I just don't like Paris. Theres something about her voice for the most part that annoys me. It was like she was performing the song, but she wasn't feeling the song.

This is just awful. Certainly there has to be a better song from the 50s catalogue for Bucky.

Wow, Mandisa might just be able to blast it out of the park each week. It didn't do anything for me, but it was still one of the best performances thus far in the season. It's nothing I would buy or stop to listen to on the radio, but for a performance show, infront of an audience, it certainly got the job done.

Yeah, I think the stylists learned their lesson after the black dress debacle with Kellie. Bright colours are much better. Barry is there every year, isn't he?

Part of me thinks that Vince was caught playing with dolls when he was a young lad and this is him trying to live out those fantasies in a more acceptable (?) manner. Another part of me thinks that this is Steph playing with dolls because all her parents gave her growing up were wrestling figures and she hated them for it (which explains SO much).
