He probably should have been doing that last game. Will he look to avenge Komisarek's sound thrashing? Or can Komisarek handle himself? I mean, I know this is 2009 All-Star team. I'm not sure how things work.

Bruins win. Kessel has cooled off, but Krejci has heated up. He's 9th in the NHL in assists. They lost two in a row but seem to be headed in the right direction. Scabs on tuesday. Lucic may not be back, I wonder who Laraque will follow around.

I'm looking forward to the Bradley v. Pinella showdown on a hot july afternoon.

Thomas Pock is Austrian. I don't know why I know that.

Like I said when they signed Redden. Hey, at least they only have him for five more years. I'm just saying that if the Rags want to add quality players like Kovalchuk, it's going to cost them.
-
Then they'd go with another team.
-
Close on Smoltz too. 5.5 mil guaranteed with 4.5 in incentives.

I might give up Korpikoski, but not Staal, and certainly not both. If they want to take either Dawes or Prucha, both of who are playing well right now, then we can talk. Not sure what value Prucha would have. He's still coasting off of his one big season. Why Atlanta would take Dawes OR Prucha for a gamebreaker like Kovalchuk is beyond me. If Slats offered Waddell the choice between the two, even thick-headed Waddell would probably hang up on him. To acquire Kovalchuk, you have to offer good talent in return. Dawes OR Prucha is a joke. Starts with Staal and Korpikoski, if not Staal you're probably looking at Sanguinetti. Plus the Rags 1st in this year's draft. And a middling prospect like Hagelin. Plus probably more.

I would guess it would start with Staal and Korpikoski. Plus some picks.

You don't turn around much.

Hartsburg has to be safe. If anyone should be fired there it's Murray. He's the one constant. And I don't think their owner would be too keen on paying Paddock AND Hartsburg AND and new coach.

I wish I could still play but my Xbox died a month ago. I'm trying to RRD it but have been unsuccessful so far. I don't have the scratch to repair it either so I'm kind of stuck.

The Bruins LOST?! Claude Julien's recent obsession with PJ Axelsson has left me scratching my head. He's been seen on the top powerplay unit, making it Savard-Ryder-Axelsson up front. This leaves little time for Krejci, Wheeler, Kessel, Lucic or even Sobotka, all of whom are better offensive players than Axelsson. I guess it's moot with the powerplay being top 5, but Axelsson's strength lies in PK. Ward may have hurt himself again today. Bring Lashoff baaaaack up. Their defensive depth has been remarkable this season. Chara, Wideman, Ward, Hunwick, Hnidy, Ference, Stuart, Lashoff. All eight of them have done very well. Chara is quietly having a Norris worthy season.

I need to ROR this son of a bitch. It stopped reading any disc at all. $100 is awfully pricey too.

Joel Quenneville was brought in to win? He's been to the conference finals once in nine playoff appearances. With talented teams too. Brett Hull and Al MacInnis were heading those St. Louis teams back in the day. Quenneville could never seem to figure out how to beat Detroit then either. He's a shit coach with a poor reputation with goalies, something I said when they hired him. Their effort today reeked of poor coaching. A good coach doesn't let them skate (pun intended) with that little effort for two full periods. As talented as the Black Hawks think they are, they're not good enough to coast on talent. They need a system, something Quenneville has problems implementing. You can blow out the Oilers and Dogs all you want, they struggle with talented teams and seem destined to try and win the 6-5 or 5-4 game. You can't play those games and win anything. They have depth with defensemen but all of their defensemen struggle with FUNDAMENTAL defense, something good teams like Detroit exploit every single time. They lack top notch DEFENSIVE defensemen, which is why they struggle and have to rely on Kane, Taves and the like to score as much as possible. Plus, Quenneville handles goaltenders like live grenades and Chicago's goaltending situation is tough to begin with.

I had five or six black and tan's while ringing in the new year.

Same place, same gal, almost bought a house but discovered black mold. We're close on another one. Nothing really happened, just work and home.

I'm not exactly counting down the days, but it looks like it could be cool. At the very least, they can finally stop with the looping programming.
-
How did it happen?

Brad Penny too. 5 million + 3 million for 160 innings pitched. I like it.
-
I don't care about the Patriots at all. Red Sox and Broons for me.
-
Broons win again, and the sun set in the west. Try to stop David Krejci.
