I thought Benoit made Orton look like a million bucks at Summerslam when he lost the WHC. I'll grant it, whatever rub, or momentum Orton got from that match was killed off by HHH a few weeks later.

I completely agree with what the league is trying to do here. There have been too many dirty, cheap shots to the head that is starting to get ridiculous.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but there are talks that EA may not release NHL09 for the PC next year. NHL08 was the same, current gen game that has been released the last few years, just with a new coat of paint. If they do a PC version of the game next year, they want to do it next gen, like the 360 version. The problem, is that EA thinks that there simply are not enough people who have a PC good enough to play a next gen game, so it won't sell well. I don't have any direct links to these rumours, but they are mentioned in EA's forums and over at sportsgamer.com's forums. I can see where EA is coming from, but I will be uber pissed if my next gen, gaming PC, will not be getting a next gen hockey game.

Yeah, I'm hearing a lot of stories about how she is a favorite with some of the older guys. People automatically assume because she is putting out all the time. Who knows, she might actually be a decent person to talk to, and doesn't carry the prima donna, diva, ego bullshit baggage with her. Then again, she may do ass to mouth, which would make her popular in most circles.

Just curious, do you have an ATI or nVidia card? Apparently Lost Planet just wants to barf all over itelf when it sees an ATI card. Known issues include setting any AA setting borks the game. I'm running an nVidia 8600 GTS. Working fine so far. And the more I've gotten into the game, the more I'm starting to like it. The levels, however, can be pretty damn short.

But its different with a sports game like that where they'll probably have another game tomorrow or in a week or so, tops. Wrestling might come to your town every few months, if your lucky, so I can't really justify taking off early. And being in the "Stay to the End" camp paid off pretty good a few years back. I was watching an AHL game between the Philly Phantoms and the St. John's Maple Leafs. Philly was kicking their ass like 6-1 or something. As soon as they announced the winning 50/50 ticket number, almost everyone left. 2 minutes later a 45 minute bench clearing brawl ensued. Safe to say, I got my money's worth out of that ticket.

Eddie winning the title will always be a favorite moment. Sadly, one of my all time favorite moments in wrestling will pretty much be wiped from exsistance. That moment is the end of WrestleMania XX with Eddie and Benoit celebrating in the ring as Champions.

I really don't get why someone would pay full price to see a wrestling event and leave before its done. Even if that last hour or so it a little sub par I'd still stay and get my money's worth.

I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth yet, but I really wasn't overly impressed with Children of Men. For some reason it just didn't keep me interested, and I was constantly seeing how much time was left.

If they get put in the Rumble match, at least we might get some crazy bumps out of it. If they can manage to replicate the crazy bump that Taka (I think) took in 2000 then it would all be worth while. Well, maybe not, but at least it would have SOME entertainment factor to it.

Maybe the pages old IP address is cached in the router, and whenever you try to pull up said page, your router looks for the old IP. Give the network reset a shot, and if all else fails, do a browser cleanup (never doubt the power of a fucked up cookie)

Was this a CD-ROM drive that came with your computer (or was it a PC you built) There should usually be a driver CD either way. If not, go to the manufacturers website, look up the model of your PC and see if there are any CD-ROM drivers there. If that doesn't, then check out the CD-ROM manufacturers website and see if they have any drivers. If there are multiple versions then download them all. It might take a bit of trail and error, but it shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Started playing lost Planet last night. Game looks really cool (got the PC, DirectX 10 version), but it looks like the game play might get pretty damn repetitive. Shoot the orange spots (usually on the back of the Akid) until the freeze and blow them up. Then again, I only played it for 20 minutes so far....

Guess they won't be getting laid in the after life either.....

I wonder if the 2 losers in the RAW title voting will go for, and win, the RAW Tag Titles again this year?

Price played an outstanding game last night. He looked really sharp in the first period and you really couldn't blame him for either of the goals the Pens scored on him. Wonder if the fickle fans in Montreal will soon turn on Huet and start chanting for Price when Huet is playing

I was never a fan of the WCW main event scene. I used to watch WCW on occassion to watch guys like Jericho, Benoit, Rey, and Melenko. I always found that RAW was a better show to watch, but if I wanted to see some good, sound, technical wrestling, I watched Nitro.

Yeah, Booker made reference that he was a 5 time WCW champ and Triple H's comeback was something like "The same WCW title that had guys like Vince Russo and David Arquette held?". I wonder how much of that promo was planned and how much Triple H was shooting?

Hopefully Price has thick skin, because it looks like his rollercoaster in Montreal is about to begin tonight.

In Canada I don't think Bret Hart or the Hart family will ever be forgotten. I can see his legacy get forgotten in the states, but that shouldn't really surprise anyone. As for the Survivor Series incident, I think its a big moment in Wrestling history, but its water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned.
