I know it was only a dark match, but what the hell was the point of having Punk wrestle Thorne? Aren't they supposed to be part of the New Breed stable? Wouldn't it have made more sense for him to either beat an original or a local jobber?

On a different note; does anyone know what the cards for RAW house shows post Mania have been like? I'm seeing a RAW house show in less then a month, and I just want to have an idea of what the card will be like.

Turning Punk heel is the best thing to do with him by far. Right now he's beating up jobbers (no offense Stevie) and it is doing nothing for his character but put him on TV. Him joining the originals would make no sense, and at least this way we will get some decent matches out of it. I'd have Punk go though the originals, and then look to take out Lashley (who would then go to RAW right away) and cature the ECW belt. This would at least keep a stale show somewhat interesting for a little while.

But if ECW goes on first, when is Sabu supposed to sleep?

That is the reason why the Birchill as a pirate got pulled. Vince wanted it like Pierre La umm Lafettye (sp?) but Birchill did sorta as Jack Sparrow and Vince had no clue who Jack Sparrow was because he never saw any of the pirates movies. So in all likely hood, the same thing will happen with the Harry Potter gimmick, if it does happen. Harry Potter gimmick? Never heard of that one. I heard Birchill is doing a Jack the Ripper "Ripper" gimmick now.

At first I just thought it was a picture of Lashley, but after you mention it, it does look like Marcus Cor Von on the left side, and Bobbly Lashely on the right. Hold a hand over one half and guess who it is, and then the other, it very well could be Cor Von, and Lashley there... It's gotta be 2 pics merged into one. The nose, the eye, the lips all change a bit from one side of the other.

I wonder if the Canadiens losing to the Leafs and getting eliminated from playoff contention was in the back of GSP's mind. The guy goes seem like a pretty big Habs fan, wonder if that disappointment was in the back of his mind.

What do you think the odds of the ECW Originals VS New Breed match will be contested under extreme rules? I know its scheduled as a regular match now, but they may have some back stage segment perhaps?

don't even fucking joke about that. I'm planning on ordering the PPV with a few friends, and there is no way I want to see the main event of a $50 PPV end in a bullshit endning like that

ok, so I'm a casual (at best) comic fan and I just finished reading Welcome Back, Frank and I got to day, I loved it. I found it really fun to read. So on that note, I'm trying to decide what to pick up next. I want to get some Punisher stuff, so I was thinking I would either get Army of One (which I think is VOL 2 in the series) or I was thinking about starting up on the Punisher MAX series. Any recommendations?

I can't remember who he was wrestling, but I think it was around the same time that Hardcore Holly beat the shit out of him with a chair on a house show (he had a black eye, etc from it). Apparently it was at a house show and he wrestled his match with a boner. Somebody has got to have heard of that....anyone?
