I was always under the impression that Dunn was responsible for the show's overall production. Now, the creative aspect of the business is awful, but the look and the sound the shows are still pretty damn good.

I think seeing Angle in a worked sport for the last 7 years has many folks sleeping on what a phenomenal athlete he is. If he trained for MMA instead of going to WWF, his dedication and freakish athletism would have made him a hell of a fighter. Angle in his prime was an f'n stud.

Rome got whored big time, as did Jason Lee.

I have faith that Raimi will do Venom justice by NOT making him a villian in the movie and just add the entire "Eddie Brock Hates Peter Parker" angle until we see a single shot of the symbiote merging with Brock to become Venom at the end of the flick. There's just way too much for Parker to deal with outside of Venom being a villian (this is another movie in and of itself) for him to even be a factor in this film. The only problem with this is that I think there may be severe backlash if the only glimpse of Venom is the endshot. The trailer gets folks jazzed to see Venom.

Apparently a quarter to never. At the very least, you'd think they would be smart enough to wear a damn helmet. Hope he ends up being alright, hate to have another Jay Williams or Kellen Winslow situation on our hands. These dummies think they are invinceable.

funny, "all american" Angle w/ hair > super intense, hairless Angle w/ mouthpiece

Maybe im not remembering things correctly, but I thought he was the Vice Principal in The Breakfast Club. Show Dick some respect. RIP.

Having the GAB PPV in any other city than my hometown of B'more just seems wrong. Funny thing is that I live a block away from the arena and still wouldnt go if it was here.

you guys are sleeping on Larry Bird and Robert Parrish. In fact the 80's era Celtics may have been the ugliest team in the history of sports. Bird, Mchale, Parrish, and Dennis Johnson. You know Danny Ainge was getting all the pussy on the road trips.

aside from being about 40 mins to long, it was fine. The NY third act was awesome, IMO.

I forget who they credited for doing that "Lonely Road of Faith" piece. I want to say it was Cole. Whoever it was did one hell of a job.

Whaaa.... no ROME?
-
well, that sure sucks.

i liked this show 'cuz it allowed me to dig Foley again. No uninspired "battles"with Carlito, no excessive pimping of a book, just Foley being Foley. The batman lunchbox serving as his briefcase is classic.

what an ugly word. im offended when anyone of any color uses it. except maybe Quentin Tarrantino.

There's only one reason im seeing this flick: Rosario f'n Dawson

I remember Meltz saying on WOL once that the only wrestler he KNEW didnt use steriods was Lance Storm simply because of the way he watched what he ate, etc. So, it is possible to have a good, muscular physique even on the WWE schedule. You just have to be unbelieveably disciplined. painkillers on the other hand....

This is a very good point. I started tuning out around 2001 and the Invasion angle. At that time Eddie was simply a midcarder who could work, but not get 'main event' type over. I was always surprised when i would peek back in on Smackdown and see Eddie pretty much headlining the shows. Angle on the other hand has been over since jumpstreet (1999?). His death would have a much bigger impact than that of Eddie's because that larger fanbase of 4-6 years ago would know, and have an interest in him. On the topic of Angle, I was speculating with a friend awhile back about how much trouble I thought Kurt might be in. I've never seen someone have such a great physique, yet still look like dogshit. His head is friggin huge. Maybe this last week will wake him up.

Actually its the 2hr pilot + 23 episodes. The first season is the pilot and eps 1-5 season 2 is eps 6-23. As Bruce Willis says in the dvd doc., "We never did finish our homework."

This show really seems to be hitting it's stride. Tonights show "Joy's Wedding" had me laughing out loud several times. Jason Lee break dancing is freakin classic.

Fantastic series. Titus Pullo is the man!

one of the better TV show dvd sets I have is Moonlighting S1 & 2. 23 shows + bonuses for less than $30.

damn... i just found out. I wasnt a superfan of his, but I respected him. He seemed like a decent person. RIP.

i completely slept on this show. will they be re-airing it again?

picked mine up at FYE today. appears to be the same 2 discer that is being sold everywhere else. I was a huge Jake mark back in the day, so this thing is pure gold to me. Im not sure how it would play to those that only had a passing interest in him though.
