Is there anything in the UFC/PFC rules that prohibits fighters from using a plain old headscissors? I've always wondered why fighters never attempt it. It seems to me with the leg strength these guys have that you could put somebody out very quickly with such a move. Thoughts?

What I meant was that, even though the blows were landing, he was calm and responding. No need to stop the fight because the blows were landing. He weathered them and worked his way to a submission victory.

Fedor loses to Hunt in 2nd round of the OWGP. Called it. /absurdity

Personally, I find Fedor fights incredibly boring. Minotauro might be my favorite HW to watch. His fights with Heath Herring, CroCop, Enson Inoue, Gary Goodridge, all were exciting fights to me. Hansen seems to usually have some great finishes to his matches, with the rest of the fight being underwhelming. Hughes has put on some decent fights.

Rampage just isn't the fighter he was in 2003. Chuck Liddell isn't the fighter he was in 2003 either. Lei is just stating the distance between their respective abilities. Rampage has shown pretty much nothing since that fight. It doesn't matter how good he WAS.
