I am just kind of getting tired of these guys coming into the house with the attitude that they are just these total badasses. Most of them are fairly green, and might have potential with the right training beyond the show, but having to sit here and listen to some of them talk as if they are just so much better then the next guy is kind of tiresome. They are on TUF, not a Pride Grand Prix Title Tourny for gawds sake.

I still find it hard to believe that 99.9% of registered democrats won't vote for Obama if he gets the nomination. With Hillary I can sort of understand why some dems would be jaded because of what it would take for her to actually win, but with Obama, I don't really see where he would come off as disinfranchising democratic voters.

Ok so I just got home from the gym and box office. I am in the front row of the upper level section 218 - box seats. So these are the seats that entitle customers to "extras" if this were a Kings game, but for this specific event it merely means I am in the very front row of the upper level, still though, pretty damn nice tix for $35. I am pumped. Less than a month away!!!

Well now that they opened up the upper level I have to call my guys back to see if they want to go now.....before when I tried to get $35 seats we couldn't get three together but I just checked and we can get them together now......they better still want to go. EDIT: So I called my buddies and they still want to go so after work today I am stopping by the box office to pick up some tickets.

One of the local farmer markets introduced me to "squash blossoms" They are the little rigid bright colored flower that grows on the end of squash. I never knew you could eat them but the guy selling the squash said just to cook them in a pan with some salt/pepper/oil and serve with some butter. They taste awesome. At first he charged me for them but after a few weeks went by and I was the only one interested in buying them he started just collecting them up and giving them to me for free.

I live by some farmer's markets, in general they are a very good option for fruits & veggies that are in season. A lot of the times you can find bargains as a lot of what doesn't sell at these markets is going in the trash anyways.

I actually do pretty well on them until that first "bump" into another vehicle that causes me to totally spin out and lose the guy. Sometimes when I fail a chase mission and I know the route the guy is taking, I will try and get ahead of him and get in a wreck with other cars to cause a major blockage in the road which leaves the guy as a sitting duck and I can just unload on him when he has to stop.

The "Blow up all vehicles" cheat code is very helpful for annoying/frustrating "chase" missions, as of yet I don't see one for GTA 4 though.

Mr. Brimley, What are your thoughts on the youtube mash-up video consisting of your diabetes commercials mixed with the song "Rock Me Amadeus" ?

It sounds cool but the only problem I see is that it seems like a game that you should be playing daily if you are actually using it for fitness and not just entertainment, and between work, going to the gym, internet, all my other games I play, wife, activities outside the house, etc etc etc.....I dunno if I have time for a game that needs to be played daily in order to be effective.

I don't hate "looking for a job" but I definately LOATHE the interviewing process.

So the A's had a promotion going tonight that for every hit they got, they would take $1 off Plaza level seats for Sunday's game against the Rangers. Well they ended up with 20 hits, so the $24 tix are only $4(this is on top of the fact that they are giving away 60's retro jerseys to the first 10k fans who show up).....so I tried to jump on the offer but because I follow directions I got fucked. See, the A's gave a website out to go to after the game and it said that website would give instructions for the promo code and purchasing instructions. Welll it turns out that going to that website was just a big waste of time because all you REALLY NEEDED TO DO was go to the regular ticket purchase website and enter in the promo code. So silly me is doing what they said to do and I am refreshing the shit out of the website they gave out during the game....and it keeps saying "check back for the instructions later" so out of frustration I just try on the tickets page to enter the promo code, and the fucking thing works but by now you can pretty much only get single tickets.....>GODDAMMIT. EDIT: Well fuck me in the ass, sideways.....I went back to the site and kept refreshing out of frustration and a bunch of tickets must have been released because I just bought three seats together.....WHOOOO!!!

Well hey, at least the people on this season ADMIT that they came on the Real World to get famous, unlike the casts of the previous 10 or so seasons that pretended they were "there for the experience"

Yeah I was going to ask about the sound. To me at least, it seems like the radio station volume is lower then in previous games, and I am kind of annoyed the way the 5.1 sound is mixed. I don't have the best receiver/system on the market but it is a good system, and I am annoyed at the way the outputs are kind of mixed so that conversations on the cell phone are hard to make out. Has anyone fiddled with the settings enough that can tell me what the difference is when you change the options from "surround side" to "surround rear" Why isn't there just a straight 5.1 audio option?

Because he sat in Wright's church for 20 years. Either he's lying for political advantage, as Wright claims he is, or he's unbelievably stupid. Either way I don't want him in the White House. Fortunately, while the second and third possibilities are not improbable, the first, upon which they are predicated, grows more and more so with each passing day. And there's the rub. Now, the irony is that no one actually believes Marney herself is that stupid to believe any of it, but damned if she won't keep repeating it if it helps convince SOMEONE OUT THERE that it might be true.

Technically...it would be pretty hard to turn the corner when going at those high speeds. Anyway...it took me a while to figure out that I was supposed to be hitting the left trigger and the right bumper at the same time. I was just hitting the Left Trigger and slowing down...but not turning very well. OR just the right bumper and spinning out. Now...after several hours of doing that I know how to make turns! Also, I have been spoiled by SR's regenerative health system. Having to go get a hot dog every time i get in a fight is annoying. True dat. Merely getting punched a couple of times should not require me to go find health. Now, if I got shot then I understand, but just a fist-fight should not keep your health down for too long.

A lot of people that have been to Vegas over the past five years or so tell me it is turning into more of a party/resort town then a "gambling" town. They are trying to attract a younger crowd who are more interested in club hopping.
