That's because today's teams cannot touch the quality of the teams "pre-salary cap" era.

I've never not watched a Redskins game when I had the oppurtunity to, but if Brunell is still the starter next week, I am seriously considering skipping it, or at least showing up with a paper bag.

I think Wlad was giving Brock too much respect early in the fight. He seemed more concerned with not walking into one of those one-punch KOs, then his own gameplan, but once he realized that Brock was not such a formidale opponent, he got down to business and just beat up Brock for a couple of rounds before the devastating KO.

How exactly does that work though, do they actually act like a temp agency for you, or do they just have listings of jobs?

Never got into wine, but perhaps it is because I haven't tried it enough to let it grow on me. I do however, like champagne.

I don't know if this is just worse for me because I am renting my parent's second home so the same last name appears on everything, but for those that rent houses, do you constantly gets calls from mortgage companies about home loans and mortgage rates etc etc etc....and you tell them EVERYTIME the situation, yet they just keep calling......I even had a smartass call just now: Me: "Hello" Caller: "Hello is Sandra there" Me: "No, she doesn't live here" Caller: "Oooooooooh, since when, yesterday?" Me: "She Owns the place, I rent it" Caller: "Do you have a number I can bother reach her at?" Me: "Nope" -Dialtone-

Working temp jobs over the past few years, has almost always guaranteed me a M-F job. However because of other reasons, such as having no job security what-so-ever, I have decided that I want a full-time job. I don't even necessarily want better pay or some type of FANTASTIC job, but I am just tired of jobs where you give 110% and then are let go for basically no reason other then "well the company decided to cut the budget so all temps leave" And yes, I know even with full-time positions people can be let go, but speaking as a temp, it happens with just about every job you get, and the worst is that a lot of the times it comes out of nowhere, and you have no warning, you mostly get called by the temp agency after you have left for the day. The one positive I was always afforded was that I never had to work weekends, and I guess I am now spoiled about it because I still don't want to work weekends, or more-so Sunday. Saturdays I really don't care about, even though my girlfriend doesn't want me to, but oh well. So here is the thing. When you are applying for work, and they have you check all the days you are available and stuff, if you don't mark weekends, do they automatically skip your application, or will sometimes try to work within your means, even if it means you will get less hours because of it? Of course I am speaking on jobs that aren't specifically asking to be available certain days. I wouldn't mind working 28-32 hours upon being hired, if it meant no weekends, because I know eventually with my work ethic and good attendance and reliability, they would start finding me more hours during my available times, however I just don't want to be skipped over because I am being honest from the get-go about not wanting to work Sundays.

It probably wouldn't be that hard for the studios to re-film to footage from the first Spiderman to make the goon, The Sandman.

Philly's inability to stop the run vs. Washingtons inability to stop the pass..... Washington by 3......!?!

What benefits? Well for Sacramento, look at the model of Baltimore/Cleveland/San Antonio....all smaller-big cities, putting new arenas in their downtown area boosted the economies, sparked growth and was good for all the existing and new business that sprouted, also it brings in a lot more business from people who wouldn't ordinarily be there.

Conservative Pundits crack me up, the way they try to come up with all this bullshit to try and say Bill Clinton wasn't a popular President.

It is also put to lie by the fact that Ahnold was extremely successful running as pro-environment, socially liberal, & fiscally conservative. Exactly, when Arnold forced the special election wanting to pass the plans for the re-districting, Pension reduction, and other conservative/big business-friendly measures, every single one of them was defeated soundly, so what did he do? He ran back to the middle and started pretending to act like he did during the recall campaign, basically a fiscally conservative-democrat.

Five men wake up in a locked-down warehouse, none of them able to remember how they got there or even who they are. They soon realize that they were all part of a kidnapping - without having the slightest idea of which side they were on. http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/unknown/

I camped out for the PS2, just overnight. At the time it was worth it because I had a lot more down time to play video games. Now it just isn't worth it to go through the trouble of getting it at launch. Also, I just don't have time for games you have to sit down for long periods of time and play. I still play Madden,Ratchet & Clank. Jak, Arcade Classics, and other games where you can sit down for an hour, play them with your friends, drunk or sober and turn the console off without penalty. I still want one, but it will probably be well into 2007 before it happens.

Britney is fortunate she is a millionaire, I mean how trailer park is that really? The Marriage was shitty from the start, yet because of her own compulsize desires, she pops out two kids regardless of having a piece of shit as a spouse, then after the 2nd child is barely born she decides she wants a divorce. At least she has her own money so she won't be sucking on government cheese.

I didn't see the McCain segment in question, but I tend to doubt he was saying it with a straight face. Well the thing is, I am not dense enough to think McCain was being serious, but at the same time I am sure Alec Baldwin was exaggerating too, but it was blathered on about non-stop on conservative talk shows. I think the main difference is that Baldwin is a "Hollywood liberal" and hated by conservative pundits, whereas John McCain is generally respected by people on both sides of the political spectrum. Yeah but in my opinion, it should be more alarming when an elected official says something like that, rather then a "hollywood liberal"

This sucks. As a Sacramento resident, Oakland/SF are just right in the range where the drive is mildy annoying but not bothersome, but if these moves are made, it changes to driving through the Bay Area to get to the destinations. I am not so much concerned with the 49ers move because I only go there when the Redskins come to SF, but the A's move is going to upset me because I usually drive to approx 20 games a season.

I know the Republican's company line is "We lost because we weren't being conservative enough" or at least the pundits are saying it, but where is the evidence.....exit polling showed that Iraq, Corruption, and the Economy were the three biggest reasons people were voting Democrat, two of the three issues, Republicans thought they were going to win on...lol. This election was a national referedum on the War in Iraq and the lack of checks & balances over the past six years, and I wish pundits would stop trying to pretend it wasn't.

Why would the Democrats need to cheat in New York? I'm sure he's as equally certain that Democrats committed voter fraud as he was that Saddam Hussein had WMDs and ties to Al Qaeda, Terri Shiavo wasn't brain-dead, or that Tom DeLay is innocent of all charges. All allegations that support conservative opinions are automatically true. All allegations that cast conservative opinion into doubt are due to liberal conspiracy. So all liberal opinions are enlightened and correct while conservative ones are backed by the vast right wing conspiracy. OK got it thanks. Not exactly, he just pointed out a few falsehoods that conservatives fought tooth and nail on, which turned out to be completely wrong.
-
He probably is to some extent, but his sheer brass opinion that any republican accused of fraud is coming from a whining liar, yet any republican losing is directly because of voter fraud, tends to make people not listen to him. Voter fraud is not something new, it happens all over the country, but I have a funny feeling MikeSC probably thinks it is 100% beneficial to anyone not republican.

I just hope none of the ECW guys get hurt at Survivor series, because they have an important PPV coming up a mere couple of weeks later.
