JJ vs. Zyon will be handed in tomorrow sometime. I just got to edit it and add bold and all that fun stuff. Oh yeah. No spaces = emo.

7500...for the love of god.

Thats basically my point...kinda. The psychology didn't come 100% from the actual moves, but from the characters involved.

Just responding to give meaning (somewhat) to why I wrote the match I did. Ok, the suplexes. Four suplexes were attempted (wheelbarrow twice), five if you count the backdrop driver. One was successful, two if you count the backdrop driver. The wheelbarrow suplexes were used mainly to go with the momentum, and that it was more Zyon (Hooking Landon's head) that Landon actually going for the suplex. The belly to belly was used since Landon seems to be influenced the most by Johnson, Hawke, and Tom Flesher. Johnson and Flesher more so than Hawke. Flesh and Johnson both use suplexes, and Tom uses the belly to belly. If anything, Landon was borrowing from his past for motivation, which he has done a lot of, lately. The German I used as a transition and it's a cruiserweight favorite. Backdrop Driver was a counter to the bulldog, nothing more. Three European uppercuts. I don't really consider than much, but I can see where your coming from. But really it's a strike, a strike used by cruiser/technicians. Both of which Landon is or trying to be. The neck work wasn't supposed to play a huge factor. Maybe put a little scare into the Zyon for the reader, but the neck work wasn't supposed to play a huge factor. The submission finishers didn't get built and was used in half a paragraph because they are both submissions you get put in and it's deadly. You say it yourself that the Land Of Nod can be put on someone with Vitality 5 or lower and its deadly. It was also a portion of that match where it was supposed to be two cruisers countering each other with a fast pace style. I don't find writing three paragraphs for the Land Of Nod and then countering it to be fast pace. Compacting it all in half a paragraph gives off a sense of speed and desperation, I'd say. The story of my match wasn't any neck work or Landon using "insert number of moves here" to set Zyon up for the LON. Same goes for Zyon. The story was two cruisers battling each other with Landon gaining the upperhand due to his superior technical ability/cheating tactics. Tried to put over the pressure on Landon who knew he had to keep Zyon grounded/tied up (cravates, chin locks) while trying to hold his own spotty nature in check. Basically the early part of the match was a nervous Zyon facing a cocky Landon. As the match progressed, Zyon was able to ease in to the match while Landon did what he could to keep the youth in check, while trying to finish him off. The end was in classic cruiser spotfest fashion where the two hit each other with high impact moves (backdrop driver, powerbomb, etc...) and looked to finish each other off (submission finishers) only to either have the opponent kickout or counter their maneuver. If you want to get basic. Zyon's part of the story was overcoming his nervousness, Landon's superior technical skill, and Megan Skye. Landon's story was his arrogance, trying to hold his opponent in check with his technical skill, and trying to hold his own spotfest nature in check. I can see what your saying with all of your critiques, but I'm a bit disappointed you didn't get a strong story since I purposely brought the emo as the match came to a climax. But thanks non the less for your comments. Oh and the time thing...eh yeah. Pretty wrong on my part.

Finally...the Zyon returns to house rules match. Yeah suck at The Rock, but I had to try it.

Wolf's Rain starts off well enough, but they try too much to make it all crazy like. I haven't seen all of it since it's first airing on Adult Swim (And there was probably some cutting) but by the end of the series I became disinterested in it. The only thing I know about X is X: The Movie. Don't know the series (Is there a series?) but the movie was cool. The art style might be a bit old, but it's a fun little movie. As for everything else I missed. I'm probably in the minority, but I like DBZ more than DB. I watched DBZ first and I just find some of the fights in DB to be inferior, I guess I mark for big explosions. There also weren't a lot of interesting characters in DB. Master Roshi and Tien were cool to watch in DB. Admittingly, DBZ should have stopped at the end of the Frieza saga. Everything after that while enjoyable (Filler sucks, but it's not death to the anime) is overkill. Berserk, Trigun, and Samurai Champloo are great. Berserk and Trigun's endings were poor though. I've probably seen all the episodes of Cowboy Bebop, but never in order. It gets a lot of hype and it does look good, but I've never tried to sit down and watch it in order. Would Yu Yu Hakusho be worth watching after the Dark Tournament?

I have a stuttering problem. Yes it translates over to the Internet. -

I'm good for every show. Of course when football season starts I will need the right to pick and choose dates or just take a couple months off. But as of right now I'm good. I fear not the report cards. -

Other than the lack of descriptions, this does look like a fun card. WC vs. Flesher = Goodness. 7,000 word limit for a Spike match = hillarious.

No that's my bad. I guess mixing steel/steal up a total of three times can even leave myself open for attack from someone like Akira. But I think I got it down now. I wish I could hit Akira with a steel rod while stealing what is left of his dignity. Better?

I don't think our roster is big enough for four single titles and one tag title. Don't get me wrong I like the size of the roster (We could do with a few more) but I think we should drop a few titles. I'd say the tag straps and the cruiser title. Tag titles simply because there aren't enough teams, and its not like we can't have tag matches without an actual title (use them to further angles, have fun main events, etc...). Drop the CW because all the champions are cruiserweights anyway. I love the CW division, but I feel as if the International and the CW division kinda cancel each other out. So then we would have World (top level), International (mid level), hardcore (low level...specialty style.) I believe this would make the three titles more prestigious as compared to what we've got now. Like for instance if I went from the CW title to the IN title, I don't feel thats a step up or step down, and vice versa. So yeah...I hope that at least made some sense.

*Prays to god that Spike is writing* The back up match (Yes we are not competing) is at a measly 2K and will not be done tonight I assure you. In other words lets hope that the primary match is finished by Spike.

Promo: “Emotive Words and False Analog”

"Traitors Never Play Connect Four" was better. -
I voted Cyclone simply because I can write him the best. Everyone else is either too over the top (Yes even more so than a super hero) or just blah.
-
I say fuck it and put Spike and myself in the main event. What I'm kidding ... Ok no I'm not.

Toxx this particuliar match was weird (horrible) because I wrote it all in like a few hours. Notice the incredibly rushed...everything. So yeah school kicked my ass this week. Speaking of which I have two tests to study for (Akira take note).

Remember guys, cookie for Edwin Macphisto info. And if you don't like cookies then you get the warm feeling of knowing you helped an individual out, who may not know anything about Edwin.

Good show and stuff. My mistake on messing anyone up in the Zyon promo's, bit since I was only using them to talk I figured I wouldn't do too much damage. My bad about having Wayne appear, I didn't put together than he really hasn't been seen since the FTF match. Yeah I did what I could with Amy, I almost Pm'ed you to check it over Toxx, but then I got lazy. Congrats to JJ and Manson on the tag title victory. Need to do a more thorough read through for any type of in depth comments. But it looked like a good show.
-
Coyote I'll pass, thanks though. I have a couple others things to do on the show.
-
Well I guess I'll call opening promo...since it seems I have to book myself now a days.

Update: Ignore Spike's comment.

"We Are Not Emo (We just dress like it)" Parenthesis is the "cool" thing, along with guys wearing chick pants, and pants MADE with tears and holes already in them. "Rage Against Homework (And all things trendy)" More parenthesis. And homework is trendy in a poser sense. And no that's not supposed to make sense. "The Minions...Minus One" Take a shot at those who wanted you guys to be called the minions. "You Are Of No Help" Well that's me, I guess.
