Affliction - Banned: Fedor vs. Sylvia

Haven't seen this anywhere reputable but there's a link on Death Valley Driver claiming that Arlovski has inked a deal with Affliction and will debut as was rumored against Ben Rothwell on this show. -

Oh boo this crap. I'm officially anti-TUF, all it does is delay title shots. This is complete foolishness. -
So once against credit to Lostpedia for bringing this up but anybody else get the feeling that Keamy and Co. are on a suicide mission? Because it's either that or they've got somebody else on board who knows how to get home seeing as how he capped the Captain last week.

I honestly don't know anybody who's rooting for Sherk.

This will most likely go down as the most loaded one-show PPV's in MMA history. I am 100% confident that they fold after this. -
Remember that Friendly and the others used theatrics and disguises when they appeared to people, though. Richard could have been using a similar tactic. Friendly used a fake beard. Richard has just been Richard when we've seen him in past flashbacks, save the long hair when Ben was young. Either he's immortal/ages slowly or he can time-travel.

Props to Alvarez, I thought Hansen would out-hustle him in the fight but I was wrong. With his drop to LW and the wins that have followed it Eddie is certainly doing his best to be a top-five ranked fighter by the end of the year which he most certainly be if be beats Kawijiri/Uno/Aoki. Speaking of, I'm predicting Aoki/Alvarez and Uno/Kawijiri for the third round. DREAM for sure wants either Jiri or Shiya in the finals and that's the safest way of going about it.

Are we spoiler-tagging results?

Interesting theory but (and I know this because I spend my time @ work reading Lost scripts) when they find the bodies in season one Jack says that they show no signs of trauma.
-
So re-reading the scripts for this episode I think the device attatched to Keamy is linked to his pulse and in turn relates to some kind of weapon because when Captain Gault points the gun at Keamy he taps the device and says not to shoot meaning if Keamy bites it the device activates whatever weapons it's attatched to.

“I love boxing for what it is, but you see so many different things and a higher pace in UFC fights. You can see punching, wrestling, submissions. If boxing is like shooting a 9-millimeter, imagine adding in a bazooka and machine gun. With the more weapons we have, the interest will come around. The key thing is just to educate.” – Roger Huerta The Sexican brings the quoteability. -
I remember in season one that I speculated that Jacob (or the island) took away Locke's legs so that Boone would have to go into the plane and be the sacrifice. Makes more sense now when I think about it. I'm not sure how many events off-island we can chalk up to Jacob. Claire not being able to find a pen and Michael not being able to kill himself are the only two. Sure, we could stretch things out and say "Jacob caused the car crash that stopped Jack from killing himself" but I think that would just open a can of worms.
-
I really think it's the reincarnation thing. I think Metal Maniac came closest to nailing it with his point that Richard clearly wanted Locke to pick up the Book of Law because it would be a sign of divinity and somebody yearning to lead people towards peace. Instead he picked the knife which symbolized his anger and possibly violent future.

I think Bisping/MacDonald would have a higher chance of sucking then Bisping/Day. Jason, for all his faults isn't scare to stand and bang with anybody so that should be a crowd-pleaser whereas Bisping/MacDonald would be Jason feebly attempting takedowns and backing up.
-
It's a bit weird that in last weeks episode Hurley tells Jack that Aaron wasn't meant to be raised by him but this week he's away from Claire and apparently "exactly where he should be."
-
Jason Day will be stepping in for Leben.
-
I wonder if it'll be revealed that when Daniel and Charlotte "shut down" the tempest he was actually re-wiring it to Keamy's gadget.
-
"You look like Barack Obama. I am so dating Barack Obama".
-
According to Lostpedia it might be a very high-tech metrinome.
-
I'll echo the "I'll only see it on drugs" sentiment.
-
So what's everybodys thoughts on Keamy's little device? I'm thinkin' it's like a mini-sonic barrier designed to keep Smokey at bay.
-
It could be both. In the flash-forward it's clear when Ben talks to Widmore that he doesn't find the island but at one point had the co-ords for it.
-
See, that's you missing the point: Pam isn't in love with Jim. Or at least not yet.
