UFC.com has this linked on their website. Confirms what I said in CWDWAT about Randy and GSP being on TUF IV but they are "advisors" instead of coaches. Article also says that it's MW's and WW's on the show and that it's being called The Ultimate Fighter: The Comeback. Show premieres August 17th. UFC 61 and TUF IV As far as who's on the show the only confirmed fighter I've heard is Patrick Cote. I've heard Mikey Burnett, Nick Diaz and of course Matt Lindland as others on the show but I think the WFA fight with Rampage has put an end to the Law rumors as the show has already started taping. Winners get the standard 6 figure deal AND a title shot. I'm very interested in seeing how they play this one out.

I wanted to go but I'll most likely be in P.E.I at the time. If I end up going I'll let you know.

It's more of a public humiliation, as all WWE fans know that "suspended" or "fired" on live TV or PPV is code for "they fucked up badly". If anybody knows of a link to Benoit/Finlay (cause it'll only be on YouTube for 5 mins) I'd be obliged.

I'm not hating on that as the Finlay/Lashley brawls were some of the best pull-aparts WWE has done in a long, long time.

The weather was just as awful up here today in the absolute reverse way: 9 degrees with some badass wind behind it. Seasonal high around here is about 18 or so.

Good episode. Silvio getting Phil's goons back and going for the RNC while the dude was getting stabbed was fucking tits. The Adriana thing was a "HOLY SHIT" moment for about half a second until you realized that it was a dream. Looks like the war is on. I'm guessing something fairly big happens in next weeks episode, perhaps they'll rip off The Shield and have Phil whack Johnny Sac while he's in jail so he can get full control.

Renallo and Trigg's constant fellating of Thompson during the fight takes away from it. Volume off and it's definetly a low-end FOTYC.

I'll give Jesse more of a chance with Bisping only because Jesse is a wrestler and Bisping allowed himself to get put on his back by some seriously half-assed takedowns from Kristian. Not like I think Jesse would sub him or do any damage if he did take him down but if Jesse worked a fight based on takedowns and top control with some bare minimum ground and pound he could probably eke out a decison.

I think MMA is in a current standing that pro wrestling has never had, simply due to it being a legit sport. Wrestling (and more specifically the WWE) are pretty much viewed as a joke, albeit a very profitable one in the media. Here's an interesting question to all that was posed in this months issue of Grappling: Will the cage hold back the progress of MMA because of the stigma attatched to it? Would UFC converting to a ring give them more credibility because it seems more like boxing?

We've seen Silva/Yoshida, Silva/Cro Cop and Silva/Hunt all before so I'd imagine they're probably not happening. Poor Roman Zentsov.
