In terms of top-shelf competition UFC would be stupid not to sign Antonio Silva, Lawler and Shields at the very least. I'd also like to see them bring in Rafael Feijao, Joey Villasenor and maybe even some of the FW's to WEC.

Actually he was the one who followed Silva. Irvin fight was in July, Franklin fought Hammil in September.

It's not really a tendency, I'd say it's more of a trademark more then anything. Tendencies happen from time to time, they pull that every single week.

It does look a bit odd that the winner of Franklin/Hendo @ 205 will move back down to MW after.

I've heard that the Bisping/TBA fight is supposed to go down in August of 2009 so I say Silva gets Okami and a 205 fight before facing off against the TUF winner.

I hope Ari takes the job simply because, like Jaxl said it would change the shows dynamic. Plus seeing Ari in an actual big-show role I imagine would be very tempting for the writers.

I'll pretty much echo that. The buildup to what transpired at the end was very solid but the Ari/Vince scene was some of the best stuff this show has done, emotionally in a long time. They rarely go that deep but went there tonight. And of course hearing Fake Plastic Trees was fucking amazing.

Church. This show show delivers the tits in droves. And Caplan's, IMO were on par with Pacquin's.

Sherdog is saying that the winner of Ace/Hendo is the USA coach against Bisping on the next TUF.

David Baron vs Jim Miller is up for free on UFC.com and I highly recommend it, smooth ground work throughout and Miller looked fantastic. Can't wait to see what's next for him. Bisping is in a weird spot because I think he could handle most of the lower-tier MW's but strong wrestlers like Okami or Henderson would have their way with him quite easily I'd say. I think he fights MacDonald next which should be, if nothing else a good test of where he stands in the division because outpointing Chris Leben and backing up for 15 minutes isn't anything to get excited about.

If somebody served me lasagna with cheddar in it I'd likely enjoy the dish but would feel weird eating it.

I thought it was solid but nothing great, mainly for the stand-up aspect of things. I wanted me some grappling.
