Eric was pretty cool but I'm even more interested to see who the "she" Bill referred to in episode three is.

Honestly if Clementi hadn't scored that last takedown in the third I think Sam could've taken it. -
Rotten steak smells pretty bad too.

Didn't he get re-injured as well? Oh and to all Canadians UFC 83 is (finally) out on DVD. 2 Discs, tons of special features and really worth picking up to see Vlasquez, Maia and others on the undercard. Stout/Clementi was a lot closer watching it on DVD, I thought live that it was pretty clear-cut for Rich. Also, MacDonald tapped when Doerkson had him in the kimura something I didn't notice live. -
Ha! Right before I clicked on this thread I thought about finding the sack of rotten potatoes that made one of my roommates throw up. It was this mass of putrid purple goo.

In season two when Adam and Peter visited that Victoria woman who worked with the company Adam killed her and told Peter "She was ready to take your head off, there's no coming back from that one."

MMAJunkie puts Jorge Gurgel vs Aaron Riley on this card. -
Wu-Tang making the Top 20 is a pleasant surprise but I'd have replaced C.R.E.A.M with Da Mysteries of Chessboxin'. I clicked on this thread hoping to see Nuthin But a G Thang near the top and am happy to see it there. Maybe my favorite hip-hop song ever. Gold Digger even making that list is all kinds of wrong. And I love P.E but that's a shitty #1.

Being that it was a joke it should have made you say....heh. But the fact that somebody bought it shows just how horrible this movie can be if it gets made.
-
Wait....you didn't finish the season? DUDE.

"Unconfirmed reports say that the plot will revolve around Costner's character mentoring a young, hot-headed pitcher (played by Dane Cook) who reminds him of imself."

Funny how all the shit that used to make us say "Fuck yeah" is making us groan and say "Awwww fuck no". Edwin nailed it, the show is basically utilizing the future episodes to jerk us around with character deaths we know won't happen and thus is taking away the legit emotion when they do die.
-
Agreed. I say we find out next episode that Mohinder has killed the wife-beater accidentally but it starts him down the dark path.

If that's what he was going at I will not disagree. Nick's a tough bastard. I think Eddie is a strong enough wrestler to avoid the ground game but if Nick can get him down it'll be a different story. -

I was just referring to YPOV disputing whether Diaz was dropped by any of the fighters he named and Nick was very much dropped by Gomi. -

So that vagina Gomi opened under Nick's eye was a result of what? -
Mohinder figured out that all it would take is a modification of the adrenal glands to activate peoples abilities- basically saying we all have it in us, we just need the formula to activate it which is EXACTLY what Hiro's dad told him about and what Scar Peter showed Present Peter. Now that I think about it if they're made out to be seperate stories that's going to be even more confusing.
-
Another thing that didn't make sense is the whole "formula to transform everybody" storyline. Are we to assume that Mama Petreli and Co. don't know that Mohinder has already figured it out? Or is this another formula entirely?
-
They also could've taken a step or two in explaining exactly WHY Peter is considered a terrorist in the future. And yeah, I like many of you have been wondering if this show is going to be a continual loop of "Save the World, Go to the Future" over and over again. Is the message here that no matter what something bad is going to happen?

Also Daphne's powers came off as incredibly lame during a combat setting. Yes, she's fast but the rest of her body isn't reinforced to deal with the speed which means if she's coming in at __ miles per hour throwing fists at somebody she's almost guaranteed to break bones. What would've made total and complete sense is her throwing shit at high velocity towards somebody with her crazy spinning arms. Bullets, for example. Or knives.

Oh yeah. Good call, been a while since they've done that kinda shit.

Diaz has some good wins but has been way too hot and cold throughout his career. For every Lawler or Gomi there's a Denny or Fickett. Alvarez, since dropping to LW has shown the skills and consistency to take Nick out. Don't get it twisted, Diaz is one of my all-time favorites simply for the fact that he's rarely, if ever in a bad fight but I see Eddie hurting him bad in this one. -
So this episode was good but not great. It did enough to forward the central theme but the rest of it fell kinda flat. - Marlo vs Sylar after offing Sylar's kid was awesome. - Parkman's storyline is the future is pretty lame. - I can't be the only one that noticed that the magnetism dude who broke out of Primatech was in the photo with Nikki/Jessica/Tracy? - No Noah Bennett = Bullshit - How did Future Scar Peter get put down by a few bullets? Fun ending, though. Hiro teaming up with Adam should be good.

The Amazing Race: Season 13
Lord of The Curry replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Television & Film
I think they could take it, provided something incredibly physical doesn't come along. They seem unlikely to argue, have good smarts and (being nerds and all) are usually thinking ahead. As of right now no one team stands out for me as "Oh, they're going to win for sure" like other seasons have
