So you get the Royals, Twinkies and 9 home games against the better teams and that's a tough week or so? How much easier would you like the schedule to be.
-
That was before Dallas choked away (took it anally from the refs and lost) a 3-0 lead and Miami curbstomped them in the 2nd half of tonight's game. If Miami wins Game 5, it's not outside of the realm of possibility that they can steal one of the last 2 in Dallas especially now that there is no answer for Wade and Dirk is struggling.
-
So is he cutting off an arm or a leg to do that?
-
Josh is 5'9 and cuts to get to 206 aka borderline obesity for his size. It's hard to take him seriously as a fighter with that layer of blubber spilling over the waistline of his shorts. Bisping might actually kill him if given the chance.
-
So it seems like Dallas might end up getting run out of this series if they lose Game 5. Amazing how uncle Mo took away what should have been a trophy presentation ceremony tonight and somehow put Dallas on the ropes. There's no need to complain about a Dick Vendetta game. We all know what to expect the minute we see him step on the court. It's like getting angry that the sun rises in the East and sets in the West. There's nothing we can do to change it.

That could be remedied by them not hanging over the plate. I'm not saying they SHOULD be hit, but there's a reason those guys always get hit and people like A-Rod and Posada usually don't.
-
Another late backbreaker. I usually don't like watching soccer, but damn these matches have been exciting down the stretch.

Los Mets are on FI-YAH!~ A road sweep of the Phils gives us a 9 1/2 game lead. And in a completely meaningless factoid we're the first team in MLB history to win 8 straight on the road, scoring in the 1st inning of all 8.
-
A-Rod with the K with 2 ducks on the pond in a 6-4 game. You can't make this shit up.
-
The Mets need to put a hit out on Pat Burrell. This guy kills us every fucking series.
-
The Mets are killing the Phillies again. 4-0 end of 1. I think we've scored in the first inning of almost every game on this roadtrip, and this is at least the 3rd of 4th time we've notched a 4 spot.
-
The Mets continue to lengthen the biggest lead in the bigs. In fact, we're further ahead of second than all of the other division leaders combined. Life is good right now. Vamos Mets.

I will resist making the joke about why JJ's got a back problem, but I guess it just goes to show the scouts to STAY AWAY because Mr. Redick will be a bust.

It was a horrible call. Name me the last time a lob play at the buzzer actually worked.I might have seen it work once or twice Word. That play gets broken up by a defender 40% of the time and gets thrown out of bounds the other 60% of the time. If there was 0.3 or so left I could see it, but with a full second you can catch, dribble and then shoot. It was a terrible call and the Mavs are 0 for 2 with it just in the last 9 games they've played.

Russ needs to drop the 100 pounds he gained after signing that fat contract first.
-
I still can't believe the play Avery diagrammed for the final possession. He could have easily gotten a clean look at a two or a three for Dirk. That's the second time this postseason they've gone for a lob to the rim and didn't even get a shot off.

German Jesus will hit the game tying or game winning three to atone for his sins.
-
Well that's a given. The NBA refs are obviously instructed to try and tighten games up at the end as Miami's gotten every call under the sun down the stretch. It's bullshit, but there's no way anyone can deny that it happens all of the time now.
-
Dallas is coughing this one up. After watching this series I just think it's a shame that Wade didn't get to play with Shaq when Shaq was Shaq.
-
It looks like everyone's going to get their Cuban/Stern moment.
-
With the bases loaded, a grounder to 3rd allowed Milledge to score, but more importantly Jose Reyes just scored from 2nd on a play at the plate that rolled a few feet away. 9-4 now.
-
Glavine just completely shit the bed tonight. 4 ER, 3 men left on so it could get worse, 110 pitches. . . 4.1 IP. UGH. Bradford saved his ass and got the next two guys on an infield fly and a weak grounder to third.
-
I'm guessing that Citizen's Bank Smallpark is a horrible place to pitch when it's hot. Already 6 HR's allowed in just shy of 5 full innings, 4-4.

I'm not trying to be funny, but was this published before or after JJ's arrest?
