The only two seasons of The Real World I liked were the two based in NYC. The 1st season was the only "real" one, and the second time we got our first of many glimpses of The Miz, Coral's big ol' titties and Lori who was the last hot chick on MTV that wasn't completely surgically enhanced. Good times. Good times. I've never been a fan of Road Rules, but I love watching the Gauntlet/Inferno/Battle of the Sexes things. I do however remember wildly cheering when Abe fucked up that fat black dude, I want to say his name was Darnell or Darrell, but I can't recall. That was great because it's exactly what I would have done too.

I'm more concerned about Shaq burning up minutes that would have went to Zo in the earlier rounds. The Heat seem to be snakebitten with late injuries to key players.

LeBron finally hit a game winner. Woo. What that turd on the Bobcats was thinking when he went to shade Z for 3 instead of Flip, I'll never know. The fact the Cavs needed a Jake Voskuhl missed FT, a miracle 3 at the buzzer AND a game winner in OT against the Bobcats AT HOME doesn't make me think they will do well in the postseason. 'Zo's torn calf all but guarantees another Detroit Pistons NBA Finals appearance. Yawn.

Read the papers, that shit was out yesterday. He didn't say it like that. He just said that this year he understands why he isn't starting, but next year that he'll expect to start, and if that isn't the case, he'd like to go in a different direction. Keep in mind that Ruben's season was full of misfits when Clay Aiken and Kimberley Locke also made the top 3. Simon went out of his way to tell the audience to vote for the best singers that year because he knew there was no visually appealing superstar. Incidentally, the two biggest busts of the 4 winners have been the least attractive ones, at least according to the masses.

The best (worst?) part of it all is that Lem would never have done that to Shane, even when he was fucking up and nearly ruined all of their lives. Just watching Lem gasp for air really made me feel sick because I knew at that moment that wasn't what Vic would have wanted if he'd authorized the hit. That was in every respect, just a brutal scene to watch. After watching the rest of the show, I really think that should have been the last scene because the fight with Kavanaugh was really weak. I wanted to see some punches land or at least one guy nearly kill the other before it got stopped. That supposed climax to this part of the season was really anticlimactic, at least for me.

So far all I have to say is Bucky's fucking TOAST. The other 4 have been really strong and that little nugget Kevin will likely stay because he's a "sex symbol". If I had to rank the first 5, I'd go with Chris Katharine/Mandisa/Paris Bucky

The guy who wrote the article was wrong about 90% of the things he mentioned. I'm not arguing that Tank was a bigger draw, I'm simply saying why he was important, and perhaps more important than Couture, in regards to the changing of the guard and changing perceptions of what an effective MMA fighter looks like to most of the fanbase. No one with a rational mind would think that Tank was actually BETTER for the UFC than Couture was/is, but that's a completely different argument and not one anyone in this thread is trying to make.
