BJ Upton hit 9 HR in 531 AB during the regular season and now has 5 in 28 in the playoffs. It's nice to see that some young players in the league are capable of stepping up in the postseason.

My pick is the NY Football Giants. Half of New York's sports fans HATE the Yankees so I think that disqualifies them from being the city's most loved franchise. Jets fans hate the Giants but there's only about 8 of them that live in the city. Hockey has fallen off of the map since the strike, and the Knicks are on life support. IF they ever get back to prominence they could vie for the top spot again. Back in the early '90s they were number 1 since the baseball teams were not great and after the Giants fell off a bit they were THE team in the city. Had they won in '94 along with the Rangers that would have been almost as awesome as the Oct. '86- Jan. '87 run of the Mets and Giants.

I get that feeling every time she speaks.

I'm slightly worried about this, but at the same time I think they'll be ready. They could take a strangehold of the division by Week 9 with a win here and against Dallas in a couple of weeks.

Where's that Dotel boner picture when you need it?
-
What a fucking idiot. Now Folk will make this and Dallas will win in OT.

I think these officials have the Cowboys in a suicide pool. Some of these calls have been ridiculous.

Horrible job by the Cardinals there. That's just atrocious.

TD Arizona on the opening kick.

Did the Redskins just lose to the hapless Rams at home?
-
Miami just choked that one up. The catch on 4th down by Johnson was incredible, but you still can't lose that game.

The Bengals will win this time in Giants Stadium.

The Rangers were clearly angered by Palin's presence.

Splitting Starcraft II into 3 parts completely turned me off to the game(s). http://www.gamerankings.com/itemrankings/l...p?newsid=162838

I hate OU, so this game pleases me.

1. I'll go with Cutler and Eli in a near deadheat. Cutler has better stats, but Eli has played far better than I could have imagined. 2. LT's not 100% and Turner is gone. And so is their ground attack. 3. Yes. Even the Ravens should be able to score enough against the Colts to win that one. 4. He's got until their 8th game at best. 5. The defense will carry them into the playoffs and Kerry Collins will lead them right out in their first game which may just happen in the second week of the postseason at this rate.

I want the Dodgers in 4, but think it will be the Phillies in 6.

For those people who still think/thought the Cowboys are the best team in the league because the Giants haven't beaten anyone I hope today's close call with the Bengals evens things out a bit. Yes, the Rams are bad and the Seahawks look anemic as well but Cleveland isn't anything special and the Packers and Eagles are also under. 500 now as well. At the end of the day the one difference I can definitively see is that the Giants beat Washington and Dallas did not.

Now all I need is the Phillies gone and I'll be content with any team winning the World Series this year.

That's some funny shit right there. Kimbo getting TKOed in under 10 seconds by a guy a weight class below him had to be the ultimate nightmare scenario for Elite XC.

HNIC has a VERY different meaning where I'm from. Is there any specific reason those four teams were chosen to play in Europe?

That was a great catch over the railing by Youkilis. So now that the Angels and White Sox are all but dead when does the ALCS start?

The Tuck Rule game gets us the full trifecta.
